Request: Message request from @dassung-sunshine​_sunshine having a birthday party with the trio for a reader who didn't have the greatest of birthdays growing up. 

A/N: Hi everyone I am back and yes take that with a grain of salt I guess. I am so sorry I have not been around. You know I had school which is once again starting back up but hopefully won’t be as crazy, I had a really hard class last semester that took a lot of my time. But I really want to get back into writing because I enjoy it and I mean I am home because of quarantine so why not. I also wanna let you know that I am going to write on a new blog for Julie and the Phantoms possibly on @thewritersunderground​, we will see though. Thank you all for the requests and to my beta as always @wayward-river​ as always send her requests as well she writes so beautifully.

That morning was like any other when you woke up, except this time you were dreading getting ready, and dreading your day. You hated today. Every single year it reminded you of the past years that you had that were utterly terrible. A stupid cake, or no cake at all. No happy birthdays. No presents though that was the part that you didn’t even mind at all. No friends, no family, no nothing and even when you did have those things nothing was done to even make you remember the special day. A day that was meant to be special never was. That was until this year. This year you were friends with your trio Fangs, Toni and Sweet Pea and they'd be damned if they let you forget the special day that was ahead of you. 

You got woken up to screaming, confetti being blasted in your face and a cupcake being slammed into your nose, reaching for your switchblade before Sweet Pea grabbed it “someone’s feisty”, you rubbed the sleep out of your eyes as kazoos started playing in your ears. 

“Happy birthday” sung in unison from the three friends that stood in front of you as your dog hopped on your bed licking the frosting that dropped onto the sheet below you. A smile erupted on your face as a candle was lit and a cupcake was held in front of you. 

“Make a wish”

“Yeah c’mon blow it out!”

“Do it!” You wished that you'd wake up like this every year, that your trio would always be with you. 

You got up hugging each one of them,  “C’mon guys we gotta go to school” School was normal or so you thought until you made your way to your locker during second period to see it fully decorated in Birthday decor. Your three friends standing across the hallway waving at you as your teacher pulled you into the classroom waving her finger at you for being late.

“I told you Pea we need to keep this quiet you know how Y/N’s birthdays have been I want to make this one special”

“Me too! But I just want to tell him so bad!” The boys hushed as they saw a shadow walking into the room.

“Why so jumpy boys?”

“Oh T, it's just you” 

“Yeah, so have you guys planned any of the party yet? Cheryl said that we can use the house for the location so we at least have that, but do we have food or anything like that? Fangs?

“Kind of...”

“I just want to make it perfect for Y/N and I was afraid to mess it up so instead of cooking the food ourselves like we first planned I asked Pop Tate and he said he would cook burgers for us to pick up beforehand”

“With what money Pea?

“He said he would pay for them”

“He did?”

“He loves Y/N and when he found out it was his birthday he said he wanted to do something nice” 

“Okay so… venue, food, music is fine because I can make a playlist oh shit how the hell are we going to get him…”

“Going to get him who?

“Ooooo what's going on what are we planning”

“Yo Y/N what’s up” 

“Just got done with Ms. Hearts terrible english lecture. Thou better shoot me…” 

“Jesus we need to get out of here yeah, y’all ready to motor?”

“Yeah lets get out of here, are we going to the quarry?”

“Actually I need to go to my uncles place”

“Yeah I can’t I have work today”

“Toni?” 

“Cheryl wants me to come over to help her pick out some dress for some meeting with Veronica or something. Hey why don’t we meet up tonight around 6:30?” 

“Yeah sounds good where at?” 

“Thistle house, you all can come” 

“Sounds great!” 

“By the way happy birthday again Y/N” 

“Thanks Sweet Pea”

“Anytime Y/N”

“See you guys tonight”

You walked into the house quiet and content. This was the best birthday you have had in your entire life. Not one of the best but the best. The people in your life now cared about you, your chosen family meant more to you than anyone ever had. As soon as you walked in the lights were off but they popped on and confetti cannons were blasted as they shot on and a bunch of people from school and the serpents bounced up screaming happy birthday and other things to you. Fangs, Toni, and Sweet pea ran up squeezing you into a giant hug, and screaming happy birthday into your ear once more as the music began blasting. 

“What the hell guys! Like today wasn’t enough”

“Nothing would ever be enough for you Y/N”

“Aw Toni” “Really Y/N you deserve it, now here”

“She handed you a present, and you unwrapped it a small keychain with a motorcycle saying friends by chance, family by choice. You looked up to see Fangs, Pea and Toni all holding their keys with the same keychain on them, tears welling up in your eyes.

“Aw don’t cry!

“Thank you guys!” You hooked it to your keychain before screaming “Now lets fucking party!”
