#POW #PrisonersOfWar Developed by #SNK Published by SNK Released in #1989 The game is loosely based if the Vietnam War and you are being held captive. You escape from prison and begin your assault on the people who captured you. This is another game based of my Uncle Tommy who was an actual Vietnam War Veteran, well if you have been following me apparently every Vietnam War based game is based off him according to my father himself! This is an an ok arcade port from SNK to the NES and there are some differences must notably it being a single player game now. The game gets over looked by other much better #BeatEmUps like #RiverCityRansom and #BattleToads to name a few others but the game is ok. Never really played this too much as a kid because i wasn’t too interested in it but playing it now was a mediocre experience to say the least. If it was two players it would have at least been more enjoyable and less of a chore. Overall I’ll rate the game a 6 out of 10.
