Hi, where do you buy ereri doujinshi? would you happen to have any authors or works to recommend?

Hello! I buy them online from Toranoana (sfw shop and r18 shop here), but recently I went on a buying spree at their physical shop in Ikebukuro and at K-Books, where you can find old treasures and lots of used (I think?) but still in perfect conditions books at like 200-400 yen. I also went to Super Comic City recently, where new doujinshis and popular reprints were on sale and I met some of my favorite artists (I still can’t believe it!).

If you want to buy them from overseas, I am not that well-versed because I’ve never bought one that way, but one of my friends told me she uses GoodyJapan. I also know of Tenso, and Buyee, which works with Tenso, I think. Tenso was recommended to me by a Japanese artist I wanted to buy goods from but I am not sure it’s the best, cheapest proxy service!

As for recommended authors, I am really picky when it comes to the portrayal of my ships, but I do have a bunch of favorite artists when it comes to ereri and rivaere. I’m gonna list them here, but keep in mind most of them are story/dialogue heavy, so if you don’t understand at least basic Japanese, they might look boring. Almost all of these have r18 stuff, so be aware (but at least you can enjoy something if you don’t understand the story!).

Follow them on twitter if you want to keep an eye on new releases and enjoy their fanarts, too! Honestly, I’d recommend anything from these artists, they are such gems for me that I’m basically slowly collecting everything they have published.

askrings / *MYM*- I recently read Yamakoi (Producer Levi retires to a simpler life in the mountains and Eren pursues him...really freaking cute...aaaa) and Menkaichuu ha Shizuka ni! (Eren and Zeke get hurt during a brotherly fight and passerby Levi take them to the hospital... Gabi, Falco and Hitch also make very funny appearances, so cuteeeee and sexy). All her stuff is really good, but sometimes it’s a bit tropey when it comes to top/bottom characterization. I told you I’m picky.

Si tano/omiuchi - Eren is such a little shit in her stories but he is also so cool... I recommend Koko ha Adlib de (actor Eren and salaryman Levi become flatmates in a sharehouse and share a bed at some point lol), and her JamJam series (I have only the pink and green one, though I think they are series of comics she publishes also on twitter. Honestly her take on ereri is just so funny and cute, I adore her)

rasu/Heat Boy- honestly, it’s what the name implies...her stories are reaaally sexy and graphic, but I super recommend Link in particular (modern AU, fools so in love with each other but separated by distance...ugh, good!) but her original manga recently got published so she has deleted everything from pixiv AND I don’t know if she’ll ever draw ereri again. Oh well... let’s all support her original manga!

GD - Searchlight (traumatized blind Eren, reincarnation, feels...i cried), Hangout (pure filth...but a fave because of something that happen in the end and that it’s a bit “ereri” so there’s a warning about it...no spoilers though), Umi no Ikimono Eren-chan (Eren is reincarnated as a shellfish and turns back into a human when he finally meets Levi again...shenanigans ensue, warning for feels!), Nakasete Graphical (ANGST), Moroku Amaku (I would’ve slapped Levi in this one aaaa, reincarnation in modern AU where Levi thinks he can’t ruin Eren's life by staying with him and triggering his memories all the time...but Eren just wants to be by his side). Also some of her stuff gets a bit tropey at times, but it depends on the story she wants to tell.

tutuPchu- Sweetie Deli (hobo!Eren is an escort - Levi’s friends called him as a joke, though in the picture Eren was so cute and clean, yet now he has a beard and long hair and dresses like a hobo?! Levi isn’t convinced, also because he is probably straight and Eren wants to be the top... reaaaally funny, cute and sexy story, can’t find the link because she deletes stuff from her pixiv routinely), Lilac (basically high school shoujo manga, where best friends Eren and Levi understand their own feelings for each other...finally), the Deep Sea Anthology if you’re feeling brave.

Rock’n’dolles/himemiko - LITERALLY EVERYTHING, but I recently lost it on Angel Fish (Levi is a guardian angel and Eren an omega whose scent is too strong for normal people so he has to kind of live as a recluse...) and Neko no Koibito (Eren reincarnated as a cat, but Levi doesn’t know and Eren can’t communicate it to him...ANGST, and also a bit funny because, you know, Eren is a cat! But man, the tears I've shed on this damn book) - there’s also a cute sequel. She is a gooddess, btw.

Fes - Perfect Blue (long haired Eren in search of a reason to live, the theme is a bit dark - modern AU).

From the one and only Idea / Seina Rin, I have finished translating her first installment of Strange Paradise (courtesy of @fairluck, our raw provider), which means it’s up next on the list! :-) And I’ve currently translated about 50% of Strange Paradise 2.

Once I’m done with SP 2 I guess I’ll be translating a couple of Rock'n'Dolless doujinshi. And maaaaaaybe some of Yatagarasu’s as well (the key word here is “maybe”).

So yeah, I know I haven’t been the most productive. But trust me!! xD Just. Trust. Me.
