Weekend Reading (Aug 18-20)

The Starseed Oracle Deck by Rebecca Campbell & Danielle Noel. 🌟

Going into the weekend it looks like many of us are feeling the feels of summer coming to an end. For many, going back to school or traveling home from summer vacations is in the cards very soon and we have mixed feelings about this. 😐

During these last few weeks of summer it may seem like a void ⬛ (the Void card was pulled from the Starseed Oracle). Also Hiraeth card represents a longing for home, being homesick for the stars.✨

💫 Star Keeper and the Wait card from the Oracle Deck give me a melancholy feeling. We may not be sure which way to set our sails or what to do with this last bit of summer. ⛱️

The cards that feel strongest to me in the tarot deck are the 10 of wands and Four of Swords. This is telling me that the best use of the weekend time is resting and daydreaming.😴

Often we think rest is unproductive but the opposite can be true. The body/mind needs time to rest and when we recharge we can manifest! Think about upcoming goals and use visualization to manifest them into reality. I practice this by doing this before drifting to bed, then I can dream about my ideas! This takes some practice but it is really very helpful!👁️

Temperance and Justice side by side tell me there is a strong need for balance ⚖️ This could be balance with your work/personal life or balance with your relationships. Think about what areas of your life are out of balance. Perhaps this weekend is a good time to tip the scales in the other direction if you have been putting more time and effort in one area of your life.☺️❤️

Finally I see the 5 of Pentacles, 2 of Coins, and Nine of Wands as a trap of your own making. Are you telling yourself it's not possible? Are you holding yourself back from success? Think about your finances and if those are out of balance this week is a great time to make a budget . The Sun card is showing up on the other side waiting for you. Your desires will manifest, just take time to rest, recoup, then get back to work!
