Spaghetti al Nero con Aragosta-

Black Squid Ink Spaghetti, R.I. Lobster, English Peas, Seasonal Mushrooms, Lobster Cream, Toasted Bread Crumbs.

I have been to @ilmassimorestaurants on Federal Hill before and had amazing food. I gave this restaurant wonderful reviews and have enjoyed all my meals there. We went to Federal Hill to celebrate Christmas Eve and we all had a great time. The food was delicious, our waitress was so nice and friendly and it was the perfect way to celebrate Christmas 🎄

The Spaghetti al Nero con Aragosta is the best dish I have ever had at Massimo. I loved the black ink spaghetti and I loved all the seafood in the dish. This is the perfect pasta and seafood dish. My favorite part of the dish is the black ink pasta and the lobster. I have never had black ink pasta and I was a little nervous but it was the best decision. The sauce on the pasta was delicious too. I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. Every time I go there each dish gets better and better! I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Based on the presentation and taste of this dish at Massimo I would rate this dish a 10 out of 10.

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July Weekend 🇺🇸

Last night I started the weekend in one of the most Patriotic Towns in America, Bristol RI 🇺🇸

Bristol is home to the Oldest Fourth of July Celebration and Proud of it!

The Annual Bristol 4th of July Celebration began in 1785 and continues strong today 🇺🇸

The concert series was a perfect way to start the weekend! And a lobster roll from the Newport Chowder Company was a perfect summer dinner! Two things I love, live music and lobster rolls 🦞

Quito’s Restaurant and Shellfish, Bristol RI.

The Lobster Pappardelle- Local Lobster sautéed in a creamy cheese sauce over pappardelle noddles 🦞

When the warm weather finally hits Bristol you can find me at one of my favorite seafood restaurants!! The beautiful view of the Bristol Harbor and the delicious food always makes Quito’s a perfect dining spot!

Last night I over indulged and ordered a lot of food! We started with oyster from the Bristol Harbor, lobster bisque and quahogs. All of apps were delicious and super fresh. The amount of lobster they give you on the lobster bisque is a good amount.

The Lobster Pappardelle had so much lobster meat that I was really surprised with the portion size. The creamy cheese sauce over the pasta and lobster made every bite just melt in your mouth. I loved the amount of fresh, local lobster they added to the dish. I don’t have anything I would change about this dish at all. This had to be one of my favorite dishes at Quito’s.

Based on presentation and taste of the Quito’s Lobster Pappardelle I would rate this dish a 10 out of 10.

☀️Meatless Friday’s☀️

On Friday’s during Lent I try not to eat meat. So today I had some delicious Scrod!

Crab and Scallop topped Scrod from my local Farmer’s Market!

The scrod was so fresh and I loved the flavors of the scallops, crab, breadcrumbs and herbs. I paired the fish with a light spaghetti, tomato and cucumber pasta salad 😉

Isn’t this the cutest teddy bear you have ever seen 🐻 I got an Ice Chai Latte with an Espresso Bear to make a Dirty Chai ☕️ For a snack I got the Mochi Matcha. This was the perfect way to start my morning!!

Greenwich Bay Oyster Bar, East Greenwich RI.

I am a sucker for Buck a Shuck 😉 Greenwich Bay Oyster Bar has some of the best oysters I have ever had. They are fresh, and very clean. Whoever shucked these oysters did an amazing job because there was no shells in them either!! And look how pretty they look on the tray 😂

The Ocean House, Watch Hill RI.

Best way to start a meal? Chowdah and Calamari 😉 The Ocean House Clam Chowder was a thick chowder. The clam meat in the soup was abundant! The calamari was lightly fried and was not greasy with oil. Both appetizers were delicious and a great way to stay our meal 🥣

River & Rhodes, Bristol RI.

I have reviewed this restaurant a few times because I have always had an amazing meal there! I have been really excited to try their lobster roll and I was not disappointed 🦞

This restaurant has two choices of lobster rolls, the Lemon chive mayo & celery, or melted butter & lettuce on a toasted brioche bun. I had the lobster roll with Mayo. I prefer butter on my lobster roll but I wanted to review the #lobstermayoratio.

The lobster meat was fresh and tasted delicious. They did not have a lot of Mayo on the roll so you could really tasted the lobster meat, which is the way I love my lobster roll. The toasted roll gave the the whole bite a Smokey, fresh taste that reminded me of summer and warm weather! The roll was refreshing and tasted delicious. I have had a lot of good lobster rolls in my life but I loved the extra toasted taste of the roll with the lobster meat.

I can’t wait to go back to this restaurant to try their lobster arancini and lobster flatbread! Doesn’t both of those dishes sound amazing? 😉

Papa Joe’s Wrap Shack, Bristol RI.

The Bristolian- Fried calamari, hot pepper rings, shredded mozzarella cheese, mixed greens, roasted garlic mayonnaise in a flour wrap.

Papa Joe’s Wrap Shack has some of the best wraps in Bristol. They have delicious and fresh food. I love the different types of wraps and food selections they have, everyone in the family will enjoy something at this restaurant. I have heard the pizza is good, but I have never tried it. The Kung Pao Chicken wrap was also delicious and that is normally my go to wrap. But, I was ready to try something new!

The Bristolian was a delicious wrap that had all the crunchiness of fried calamari you can expect. I have been wanting to try this wrap for a while and finally tried it. This wrap did not disappoint at all! The wrap was crunchy with a little spice! This wrap made a perfect lunch. It was hearty and filling but it was worth every bite!

I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a delicious lunch or dinner options. You can even take the food to go and enjoy the beautiful scenery Bristol has to offer 😉

Based on presentation and taste I would rate this wrap a 8 out of 10.

This has to be one of the best Seafood Chowdahs I have ever had at the Newport Chowder Company 🥣 The seafood chowder had and abundant amount of shrimp, scallops and clams. The herbs used in the chowder gave it a fresh taste. I cant wait to go back to the local farmers market Mount Hope Farm in Bristol RI to get more of this delicious chowdah 😉

Parkside Rotisserie and Bar, Providence RI.

Moules En Frites - PEI Mussels, Vidalia Onions, Cherry Tomatoes, Bacon Lardons, Smoked Tomato Butter, Matchstick Fries

Providence has so many amazing restaurants it really is hard to choose one to go to! Federal Hill has amazing Italian Restaurants, downtown has many delicious burger, Greek, Korean and Indian restaurants. You can find anything you want to eat in this small state!

Parkside has amazing food, whether it is seafood, steak or chicken you will have a delicious meal. The mussles at this restaurant are delicious. It was a little different to have the matchstick fries on them, but they were nice and crispy and gave the dish a nice crunch. The mussles are fresh and the cherry tomatoes and bacon added to the light taste of the mussles.

Based on presentation and taste of this appetizer I would rate this dish a 7 out of 10.

Rhody Roots, Warren RI.

Lobster Roll- Butter poached lobster with a Meyer lemon, tarragon aioli on a brioche bun with greens.

Once a food truck, @rhodyrootsri is now a restaurant in Warren RI. Named Rhode Island Monthly’s Best New Restaurant in 2020 I knew I had to try this restaurant ASAP! They offer gluten free, dairy free and vegan options, so there is something on the menu for everyone! They are located in downtown Warren, which is a cute little seaside town. The downtown is full of shops, restaurants, a cider shop and smoothly shop.

The lobster roll was incredible! The tarragon aioli was a taste I did not know would pair so well with lobster. They give you an abundance of lobster in the roll. The meat is fresh and tastes delicious. The #lobstermayoratio was perfect because there was no Mayo just that aioli sauce. I can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu! If you are in the Warren area please check out a wonderful local restaurant 🦞

Based on presentation and taste of the Rhody Roots lobster roll I would rate this a 10 out of 10.

⭐️New Restaurant Alert⭐️

River & Rhodes, Bristol RI.

It is a new restaurant in Bristol that just opened on Aug 11th.

I experienced an amazing dinner there last night. We ordered the

FIG, GORGONZOLA, & PROSCIUTTO di PARMA FLATBREAD

DUCK CONFIT RAGU & PAPPADELLE PASTA

ANGUS BEEF BURGER with a Bacon Jam!

All of our food was amazing. The flatbread was delicious and cooked to perfection. The duck was decadent and melted in your mouth. The pasta that came with it was made locally and was perfect with the juices from the duck. The burger was cooked medium well and was nice and juicy. The fries were the best fries I have had in a long time.

The staff of the restaurant were amazing people, so nice and welcoming. Leaha, the owner, came over and talked to us for a long time and she really made the experience special.

I can’t wait to go back to @riversandrhodesri and try more on the menu! I am excited for the new dining experience in Bristol!

I would recommend this new restaurant to anyone coming to the East Bay 😊
