Komi seems to be much easier to beat when at the beginning you put your pieces in two locations on the board at once. The AI can only focus on one at a time. So while it's trying to wrap your two methodically placed pieces on one side, you keep building a fence around their pieces from the other. Then you can connect your two creations and feel very smart.

Idk I really enjoy the Komi minigame in Duviri. edit: here's a video of how i go about it. maybe it can help someone. (sorry for all the videos as of late sdkfh)

At the time I couldn't stand the idea of suddenly having to make a drifter character (the horror! there can only be one Kyn). Glad Lane came about eventually and fixed that.
