i see posts sometimes where ppl argue over who is "really" privileged in arcane and while it is definitely the case that the metatextual politics of the story are liberal and therefore incoherent at best i also feel like a lot of the arguing is symptomatic of americans thinking class conflict = rich vs poor and also that being poor always = being a worker neither of which are really true
