Last week I tried my hand at being a popstar for #AnimeExpo! 💜 Which was quite a different look for me and my cosplays. 😄 I had to rush to finish #KDA Ahri before Day 2 (I DID IT THOUGH), and still had a great time being cute and silly with my girls at the con. A dream came true last Sunday! 🖤 After our previous Sailor Moon shoot I suggested a gothic theme for our next @cinecosu_studios collab, and I'm so excited that it happened! Here's a small preview. Hey Friends! Look at this adorable art of my Veigar cosplay by @suzumecreates. I love it! She even included my corgis, Celestine and Abaddon. ❤️ It's been a busy and emotional month for me, and though I've had some amazing experiences, I've also been really anxious about posting online (hence the silence recently). - As an introvert it's not really instinctual for me to post often, but I genuinely want to share my art with you, discuss progress, and support the community that I love! So when I saw this piece of art in my notifications last week, it was a meaningful reminder of how impactful community creators are, and how generous and thoughtful artists can be (she's a cosplayer too)! I'm now re-inspired to feature more creators on my personal channels, while trying to worry less about the quality of my own posts. I may need a few reminders though, haha! :D It's also easy for me to get preoccupied by awesome projects at work, like the new Summoner Showcase with @riotswimbananas! But now, to find the courage to sort through my backlog! 😂 I'm currently finishing two builds for AX next month (Blood Moon Kennen and Vegeta). What projects are you working on?

A month ago I finished Academy / Burning Bright Poppy for the Cosplay Lab! 💙 You can see these versions of the Star Guardians in their music video and promo art. I didn't end up sharing much progress since we wanted it to be a surprise though! I love how comfy this costume is, and the wig was fun to dye and style. (though time consuming, haha) Thank you @ve1vetine for the school patch, and @colinyoungwolff for the awesome photos! I'm not sure if I'm angry or pouting here... 😂 I'll be bringing Poppy to #PAXEast this week too, so keep an eye out for me and Lulu (@riotswimbananas) if you need any costume repairs.
