Hello! 

It’s been a year since I wrote another fanfic, so my writing’s really rusty. I really apologize for that. Anyway, here’s a really sad scorbus fanfiction (with a hopeful ending though). I know this can be triggering for some, so PLEASE READ THE TAGS and the author’s note before proceeding.

2. How do you spend your time when it comes to fanfiction? Are you primarily a fic reader, writer, or a perfect 50/50 split of both?

To be honest, this always depends on the mood I'm in and what time I have available! I haven't been reading much lately but have been using my Freetown to write so atm I'd say it's 80% writing, 20% reading ! For me, worrying usually has the upper hand but I definitely go through phases where I just read !

3. Are there any fics that inspired you to write what you do?

I don't think just one or a few fics inspired me to write cursed child fic ! I think it was just collectively reading and getting into the fandom that gave me the inspiration to write my own and dive fully into this side of the fandom !

Sometimes, Scorpius thinks, the moments we encounter briefly are the ones that we cherish the most.

As he averts his gaze towards Albus, his gaze traces from his messy hair down his robes. He looks at how his tie almost strangles Albus, and how he instinctively wants to remove it from him. He looks at Albus’ eyes, and how he wishes that he could stare at those forever.

Finally, he looks at Albus’ lips.

Albus didn’t really find amusement parks entertaining.

Even with Scorpius Malfoy spending the entire day with him, Albus never really fancied the concept of crowded areas, roller coasters that would intentionally plummet you to death, or rigged carnival games that served nothing but stuffed toys and candy floss. Honestly, if him falling for his best mate was not going to be the death of him, this one was.

He just wanted to survive the day.

I recently got introduced to Lord fo the Flies over the summer, and I can’t stress how much I loved the symbolisms and the boys. It’s such an eye-opener for me, and I hope that it becomes an eye-opener for everyone too! (BTW, unlike in the UK or other countries, teachers didn’t make us read LOTF. Still, I found myself reading it for fun and getting invested in it!)
