Ayame Himuro e Shinya Yukimura sono innamorati l’uno dell’altra, ma sono anche due scienziati impegnati in un’annosa ricerca. Entrambi vogliono dimostrare che il loro amore può essere scientificamente provato, quantificato ed espresso tramite fatti.

La commedia romantica nasce come one-shot, pubblicato nel 2016 sulla webzine Comic Meteor. Da maggio dello stesso anno l’opera viene serializzata regolarmente e l’11 luglio Flex Comix ne pubblicherà il 6° volumetto in Giappone.

Il manga ha già ispirato una serie live action di quattro episodi, trasmessa lo scorso settembre e il 1° febbraio 2019 è uscito nei cinema giapponesi anche un film, sempre con attori in carne ed ossa.

Winter 2020 TV Anime Rikekoi Viewed More Than 10 Million Times in 5 Days in China

    The official website for the ongoing TV anime adaptation of Arifred Yamamoto's romance comedy manga Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei Shite Mita. / Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove it, Rikekoi for short, announced today that the anime (including its all 12 episodes and PVs) was viewed more than ten million times only in five days since its launch on China's largest legal anime streaming platform bilibili. The number of the platform's monthly active users is 128 million.

  The anime's first episode has been already watched 3.25 million times by Chinese viewers. In addition, the anime has received a very good 9.8 points out of 10 (average score from more than 20,000 evaluators on the service).

          Synopsis: 

  What happens when a science-inclined girl and boy who are deeply passionate about research fall in love? An intelligent woman named Himuro Ayame who is a science graduate student at Saitama University happens to ask fellow science grad student Yukimura Shinya out. Of course, there’s no logical reason for this love! But as a science and engineering major, not being able to logically prove love would mean that those feelings aren’t real, and they’d fail as a science student. With that in mind, the two drag everyone else in the lab into trying various experiments to prove love actually exists.

  One month prior to its premiere, the official website for Arifred Yamamoto's romance comedy manga Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei Shite Mita. (Because the science course fell in love, we have mathematically proved it.), Rikekoi for short, has posted its 90-second opening movie featuring the OP theme song "PARADOX" performed by 26-year-old anime voice actress/singer Sora Amamiya. She is also cast as the anime's main heroine Ayame Himuro. The song is scheduled to be released as her tenth solo single song on January 15, 2020.

TV Anime Rikekoi 2nd PV Announces January 10, 2020 Premiere

Main Heroine VA Sora Amamiya Performs Rikekoi TV Anime OP Song

It is confirmed today that 26-year-old anime voice actress/singer Sora Amamiya's next tenth single song "PARADOX" will be featured as the OP theme for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Arifred Yamamoto's science romance comedy manga Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei Shite Mita. (Because the science course fell in love, we have mathematically proved it.), Rikekoi for short. She is also cast as the anime's main heroine Ayame Himuro.

  Two months after her latest ninth single "Regeneration" released last Wednesday, "PARADOX" is scheduled to be released on January 15, 2020. According to her unit TrySail's official Twitter comment, it will be "pop, catchy, and has an expression that she has never shown before."

    An advance screening for the anime's first episode is set to be held at Science Hall in Tokyo on December 8, 2019. Its three main female voice cast: Sora Amamiya (Ayame Himuro), Natsuko Hara (Kotonoha Kanade), and Nichika Omori (Eana Ibarada) will also join. And Amamiya will perform a full version of "PARADOX" on the stage for the first time.

   The manga has been serialized on Flex Comic's free web manga site COMIC Meteor since May 2016, and its tankobon has printed 750,000 copies in Japan. The story follows Ayame Himuro and Shinya Yukimura, two graduate students at a science university, who have diligently worked on their studies. The two have feeling for each other, and try to figure out the definition of "love" with mathematical approach.

  It was already adapted into a four-episode live-action TV drama in September 2018, then a live-action feature film featuring the same cast members was released in February 2019.
