𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 // t. kageyama (reader insert)
sypnosis: you’ve living your life in the cold dark shadows inside of the walls of your mansion, never believing in things such as soulmates nor love, even dismissing the simple thought of it. then, you met a pair of lovely navy blue eyes that oddly resembled blueberries, but despite that, they held so much warmth in it. a warm feeling that you didn’t want to ever let go.
genre: ANGST ANGST ANGST, fluff. (oof i’m sorry for the angst)
note: this is an 1800′s AU in case y’all are confused hehe. i swear i love kageyama tobio but this idea suddenly popped up so. meh.
Tumblr media
it was a meeting of fate.
you really didn't mean to actually stray away from the group of guests and into the gardens alone, their expensive perfume scents, blinding jewerly and fake smiles were getting too much for you, leaving you in a dizzy haze.
you just wanted to get away from it all.
the thought of being wedded off to someone you didn't even love was sickening, yet, this was your role. never in your whole life have you played a different role, you wanted to become someone that you were proud of.
yet, you couldn't escape this no matter how you look at it. 'too risky' you had thought and believed that nothing big was worth the risk.
you sat on a marble bench, flinching as the cold surface touched your skin, it was smooth as expected, a few chips and cracks here and there. you stared at the full moon, remembering a story that your nanny once told you when you were young.
"if you send a wish to a full moon and pray for it, your wish will be granted."
you scoffed at the idea, growing up you wished and prayed to some deity that a prince would sweep you off of your feet and take you away from the mansion that you resided in. childish dreams were often shattered by the harshness of reality. you were bound to the chains of abiding your parents' wishes, it has always been like that. you saw a flock of birds and grew envious, thinking how it would be better if you became a bird instead, free to do whatever you want. you wanted to fly away from this place.
tears dripped down from your face, you raised your hands up to wipe away those tears but a sob slipped out. you were miserable and no one knew about your unhappiness.
kageyama froze as soon as he heard a sob in the garden, it was a beautiful night, a party has been held inside of the mansion he was serving. he didn't even want to be there, often irritated at the snobby rich people who came for either marriage or to show off their possessions.
it was unusual to hear someone cry when people celebrated inside, he walked closer to where the sound was coming from and there he saw a girl, wearing a beautiful (favorite color) gown that sparkled in the moonlight.
he wanted to reach out to you, ask why were you crying, but he thought that it was best to let you cry even though he didn't know the reason. he walked to the bench and sat down on the opposite side, his presence was soon known when the girl flinched. kageyama tilted his head back and stared at the stars, his back was only a few centimeters from yours and a few words slipped past his lips.
"it's okay to cry. just let it all out."
he said in a quiet voice so that only you could hear. you paused for a bit, wondering who the boy was. but odd enough, the words he said were comforting. you wanted to cry your heart out, even just for a bit more. and you did.
his silence and the warmth radiating from his skin was all you needed. soon enough, you had finished crying, the only evidence that you cried was your flushed ears and nose with puffy eyes. you wanted to laugh at yourself out of pity.
kageyama turned his head hoping to see your face "are you feeling better now?" he asked and you nodded.
"i'm sorry that you had to see me in this state." you apologize, letting out a dry chuckle and wiping a tear.
"it's fine." kageyama replied and moved so that he could directly sit next to you, then he finally saw your face. beautiful (eye color) eyes, (skin color) skin that looked soft to touch, you were the most beautiful creature that he had ever laid his eyes on.
"i must look like a mess." you laughed, covering your face with one hand but kageyama reached out to you and held your hand.
"you're beautiful."
almost instantly your face heated up and you blushed, soon kageyama realized what he had just said his face turning red as well.
"i- i'm sorry i didn't. well..." he stuttered out, covering his lips that was slightly trembling. he thought that he was an idiot for saying such words, but you just giggled at his shy attitude.
"it's fine." you waved it off, leaning back and stared at the moon once more, he followed your gaze and saw the moon that was full and bright, bringing a soft glow on your face.
"the moon is beautiful." you said, still staring at the moon.
"yeah, very beautiful" kageyama agreed.
but he wasn't looking at the moon. he was staring at your face.
"i'm sorry, it must've been rude. but i'm (name)" you said as you turned to him, reaching a hand out. once he grasped your hand, you noted how warm it was. dismissing the feeling of sparks and butterflies erupting in your stomach.
"tobio. kageyama tobio." he replied, a faint blush creeping up on his cheeks. and with that, the two of you explored the garden, enjoying each other's company. often laughing as you talked about simple things, telling stories and tales of fun experiences.
the night ended with you in his arms, swaying along to the faint sound of music coming from the ballroom. you felt safe and warm in his lean and slightly tan arms, you knew that the feeling was like no other. everything with kageyama felt right. for once you were convinced that the place where you belong was in his arms.
with a heavy heart, you both bid your good byes, he promised to write to you and visit as much as he could.
"wait." tobio called out to you making you stop in your tracks, he rushed to you and held your right hand. he pulled a silver ring with a small navy blue gem on it off his finger and slid it onto your middle one since it would be too big for your ring finger.
"a promise." he said, his cheeks slightly going red. his heart was pounding against his chest and he opened his mouth to speak again "a promise that i would do my best to see you and make you the happiest woman alive." he continued.
you replied with a smile and stood on your tip toes, placing a quick kiss on his lips, leaving kageyama frozen. you nodded "i'll wait for that." you replied and hurriedly went back in the mansion where your parents were in.
as soon as you left, kageyama began to breathe again, he let out a wide grin and began to happily skip back to the mansion to fulfill his duties.
≻───── ⋆✩⋆ ─────≺
weeks in of kageyama secretly going to your mansion and slipping in through the window and balcony, he really did make you feel like you were someone that you could be proud of. kageyama saw you as someone who was worth more, someone that deserved a better life than this. he believed that he would do his best to make you live happily despite the circumstances. you felt like you could conquer the moon when you were with him, he often visited at night when everyone was asleep, he would bring sweets and lay a blanket at the balcony to go star gazing, whether the moon was out or not.
everything was beautiful with him.
"why do you love me?" he asked one night, the two of you on the balcony, pillows and blankets were surrounding the two of you as you were cuddling close to him enjoying the warmth that he provided.
"because, you're you." you replied, smiling up at him, he just smiled and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you closer to him. you loved him despite the short amount of time the two of you had spent together.
you were the most precious thing in his world, you both adored one another. loved the warmth that you both provided for each other.
this time, you believed in soulmates.
≻───── ⋆✩⋆ ─────≺
it was a quiet and windy afternoon in the mansion, the servants were doing their own things and you were roaming in the almost empty and dark halls, hoping to find something that would excite you.
you soon walked to the path where your parents' study resided in, it was dark since the curtains were closed, they hated anything that emitted light and warmth. you never knew the reason why, but they just did.
you notice that the door to their study was slightly ajar and heard their voices along with someone whose voice was unfamiliar to you.
"i understand of your daughters rendezvous with this mysterious man, but would you please get to the point? i do not like wasting my time chatting."
you stopped in your tracks. they knew. you leaned closer to the wall so that they wouldn't sense you eavesdropping on their conversations. it was foolish of you to allow tobio to keep coming to the mansion, you should've refused and became contented with you and him writing letters.
"after talking and interrogating the staff, it has been confirmed that this man is not a man of royalty or even a man of a wealthy family. the staff catches glimpses of a ragged brown coat rushing through the gardens at night. and i want him stopped, it's bad enough that our daughter is being a rebellious child, it's even more scandalous to think that she sneaks out at night with this ruffian"
you heard your father complain, you covered your mouth with both hands and stepped back and away from the door slightly. cold sweat was running down your back as your hands trembled slightly.
what were you gonna do now that you and tobio has been found out? would you run away with him? is it worth the risk?
"you wouldn't mind me using a much more... immoral method, would you?"
you couldn't breathe, you knew what he was talking about.
"i don't mind, just get him out of the picture." was your father's reply and you ran down the hall and back into your room, you let out a sob as soon as you closed the door, you couldn't afford to lose tobio. you had to run away; run away and never look back no matter what.
≻───── ⋆✩⋆ ─────≺
the moon was out, glowing beautifully as the stars twinkled in the night sky. you checked if you were lacking any coins, you put on your dark hood and rushed to the balcony as soon as you heard a stone bump off the glass door.
kageyama tobio was a very beautiful man indeed, even when wearing a simple white dress shirt with black blacks. you smiled at him, your eyes still a bit teary from your earlier breakdown. you signalled your hands for him to wait as you rushed to let down a makeshift rope and climbed down, hugging him instantly.
"let's run away." you breathed out in a quiet voice "you make me the happiest when i'm with you. i want to start a new life with you, i wanna be with you forever. so please, let's run away." you told him quickly, holding both of his warm hands. kageyama was shocked, frozen in his place and soon enough he gave you a soft smile.
"yeah, let's." he replied. you froze when you heard a rustle of leaves, it couldn't be the wind. it wasn't even windy.
"run." you breathed out and broke out into a sprint with kageyama slightly trailing behind, soon he picked up the pace and began to run with you, giving you a look of confusion.
"please kageyama faster" you pleaded, still running, his turned to look back to see a man clothed in black running after them, a glint of silver in his hand as he ran.
"shit." kageyama cursed and picked up the pace, the two of you ran towards a door that lead to the outside, almost there. but kageyama almost lost his balance when he tripped over a wire as he clumsily tried to continue running.
"tobio!-"
then a gunshot, red liquid splattered onto your face as kageyama lost his balance completely and fell down, crimson red liquid was seeping through his back and you tumbled down a few feet away from him.
the ringing in your ears was loud and you couldn't hear anything else, your heart was thumping loudly and you couldn't control your breathing. instantly you got to your feet and rushed to kageyama's side, you saw his pained expression as he coughed out blood.
"k- kageyama no please..." you stuttered out and his hand reached up and cupped your cheek, his warmth was still there as a sift smile made it's way to his bloodied lips.
"l- let's run away! please let's get up and we can get a house somewhere far away.. we can start a new beginning. j- just you and i--" you were cut off when kageyama chuckled in a painful manner.
kageyama himself knew that it was done for, he couldn't breathe properly, and he could barely see you through all the pain as he squinted his eyes to get a good look at you. one last time.
"that would be nice, huh?" he coughed out more blood, his voice hoarse and raspy. the bullet hit a vital spot in his lungs, he knew that. you both knew that. but you were in denial, you refused to let him go.
"y- yeah and we could get married, yeah? it would be just the two of us and nobody else."
"in that case... will you marry me right now?"
tears streamed down your face as you nodded, cupping his cheek with your hands "yes." you replied, forcing a smile on your face.
"i vow, to always love you... l- love you better even after death..." he struggled to talk, his vision already turning black as he forced out a smile, his one eye already closing.
you let out a sob, tears slipping past your eyes and onto his cheeks "i vow, to love you, even in the next life." you promised, letting out choked sobs as his grip on your cheek went weak, you grabbed his hand and leaned into it, kissing his palm as you cried.
"i'm happy..." his eyes stared at you, clearly dropping, the eyes that you had loved so much. his blue eyes that resembled the blueberries that he would give you when he came over. kageyama's eyes that would twinkle in the starlight holding love and mischief in them, telling you wonders and tales of the stars that the two of you would stare at for hours, not caring if the two of you would lose sleep in the process.
"you're beautiful." he muttered and closed his eyes. a soft smile still on his face as the hand that you were holding went limp.
you cried as you held him that night.
'i promise to love you better even after death.'
'i promise to love you even in the next life.'

"ehhh?! a new manager?" hinata yelled as the 2nd year duo, nishinoya and tanaka, danced around in delight. thinking that it would probably be a cute girl in the lower grade.
kiyoko nodded and stepped aside, revealing a (short/ tall) girl with big round e/c eyes and (short/ long) smooth h/c hair who stared at the men in front of her with curiosity.
"n- nice to meet you, my name is l/n y/n. please take care of me" you introduced yourself as you bowed, nishinoya and tanaka gushed at how cute and timid you were being earning a punch from daichi.
the first years introduced themselves to you with a handshake, and soon you saw blue eyes.
'they look like blueberries.'
you reached your hand out to him with a smile "hello, i'll be your new manager, please call me y/n!" you said cheerfully.
"tobio. kageyama tobio." he replied and shook your hand, he felt sparks instantly as you felt warm. it was a comforting kind of warmth.
"you're beautiful."
instantly the entire gym was silent, you flushed red and as soon as kageyama realized what he had said he let go of your hand and covered his mouth as he blushed.
nishinoya and tanaka went to him and began to playfully beat him up with hinata jumping around in the background. and even so, the only thing that you could hear was your heart beating like crazy from the compliment that came from the navy blue eyed boy.
you felt warm, a familiar feeling. as if you'd felt it before.
and you liked it.
END.

Aurora (Chapter 2) - ATEEZ OT8 Pirate!AU
Genre: Adventure/Romance (Mostly fluff)
Rating: PG-13 (later chapters will have strong language, violence, and suggestive situations)
Disclaimer: Our main girl has a name but feel free to self-insert. Honestly, this chapter is mainly some necessary exposition so that you know who’s who and the general vibe on the ship. The next chapter will be more plot heavy, I promise.
Tag List: @unatempesta-dipensieri

“Now that you’ve seen the whole ship, I should introduce you to the guys. You already met Captain Hongjoong. He’s a lot nicer than you think. He just doesn’t trust you yet. The first mate is Seonghwa.” San was walking backwards, completely unbothered by the swaying of the boat. “He’s up there. The one steering the ship. Yeosang is our navigator. He’s right next to him with the compass and map.”
“Who was the guy with the deep voice? The tall one?” Jangmi asked quietly. “I need to thank him for advocating for me.”
“Mingi? He’s a big softie. Doesn’t surprise me that he helped you out right away. He’s the quartermaster so he keeps the crew in line. He’s the main line of communication to Seonghwa and Hongjoong.” San shrugged, sitting on a chest without ever looking back to see where he was or if the chest was even there.
“And what about you? What do you do?” Jangmi was completely out of her comfort zone. The only woman on a boat of pirates… yet, she felt safe. They seemed oddly kind and well-mannered.
“I’m a boatswain and so is Yunho over there. We do the jobs no one else wants to. Most of our day is spent cleaning.” He chuckled, looking over at Yunho who was actively waxing down the railings. “Jongho’s the cook. He’s the one who made that broth for you. And Wooyoung’s up there. He doubles as our rigger and our main gunner.”
“Hey!” A voice called from the crow’s nest. Jangmi craned her neck to look up. Wooyoung was at the top of the main mast, waving enthusiastically. “I’m Wooyoung.” Even from so far away, his smile was obvious and his voice was easily heard.
“You all seem so friendly. I can’t believe how kind you all have been to me.” She was still getting used to the pants and the shirt that didn’t even reach past her butt. She felt so naked and it was obvious from how closed her stance was, as if she was trying to hide her figure.
“Are you cold? It’s a bit breezy, I guess.” San bit his lip. “Would you like a coat? We don’t have too many right now but-“
“No. It’s not that.” She blushed, looking away. She didn’t know how to explain that she felt incredibly exposed without crossing any lines of decency.
“Oh. You must be that woman everyone’s been buzzing about.” Seonghwa was coming down the steps from the back of the ship where the wheel was. “How are you adjusting so far? Is San treating you well?” He spoke so properly, much like a nobleman.
“Oh. Yes, San is very kind. I’m still getting used to all of this, if I’m honest. It’s a lot to take in.” She bowed politely. “I’m Min Jangmi, eldest daughter of the Min family of Jeju.” She was so used to introducing herself by her title, it was natural and rolled off her tongue effortlessly. “I heard that you have a similar background.”
“Who said that?” Seonghwa gave a pained smile. He didn’t like remembering his origin. He hadn’t enjoyed that life at all: being forced into formalities and boring studies, being told who to marry and who to be friends with.
“Mingi.” San cringed. “I know you don’t like talking about it but she might need someone who understands the shock she’s going through.”
“I wasn’t shocked.” Seonghwa shook his head, looking Jangmi over pityingly. “I ran away for a reason. I wanted this life so I found you all. I wasn’t found on driftwood.”
“Why would you leave? Back as a noble you live comfortably and never have to worry about anything except marrying well.” Her eyebrows were creased and she couldn’t help but look at Seonghwa as if he was a riddle without a solution.
“Some people like making decisions for themselves, deciding what their life will be for themselves.” Seonghwa sighed. “San, she needs a longer shirt. Something that’ll help her feel less exposed. The poor thing is used to full hanbok.” He knew how she must feel. Noblewomen were never supposed to be alone with a man that wasn’t family, it wasn’t decent. But here she was, in what she felt was undergarments and surrounded by strange men.
“Oh.” San’s eyes widened as he took in her stance. Legs pressed together tightly, arms crossed over her chest, her whole body rigid. She looked frightened and uncomfortable. Not to mention the look in her eyes. Was she going to cry? Was she that shocked?
“Don’t. None of us know how to handle that.” Seonghwa sighed. “We can’t help you if you-“ he was cut off by a tiny sob, “cry.” Groaning, he grabbed her by the elbow and sat her next to San on the chest. “Just… take a break. Maybe you’ll feel better.”
“Okay.”
“Are you crying?!” Yunho’s eyes widened as he reached the trio. “You’re crying?!” He didn’t know what to do other than gawk at the display of sheer emotion. Jangmi stiffened even more, lips quivering.
“She’s crying?” Wooyoung called from his perch at the top of the mast. “Who insulted her?”
“No one!” San answered. “I think she just feels naked!” Her eyes widened in embarrassment and she shrank in her seat, trying to feel less visible.
“No-“ Seonghwa gave a resigned sigh as all the guys instinctively looked over in curiosity. She was well covered. What was wrong with her clothes?
“She’s crying?” Yeosang called. “Is she homesick?”
“No! She feels naked!” Wooyoung answered. Her face reddened. Great… now the whole ship knew how exposed she felt.
“Who’s naked?” Mingi called as he came out from Hongjoong’s cabin.
“Jangmi!” San called. “Well, no. She just feels naked!”
“She feels naked?” Hongjoong followed Mingi out, eyebrows knitted together in concern. Jangmi grew nauseous, not certain if it was out of embarrassment or sea sickness.
“Guys!” Seonghwa snapped. “Back off! You’re being very intrusive. She probabaly just wants to be left a-“ Jangmi suddenly short to her feet and pushed past Seonghwa to the railing, vomiting over the side of the boat. Everyone immediately cringed. They had all felt that way at first, sick.
“Whether I am crying or not is none of your business!” Jangmi turned to stare them all down, wiping vomit off of her face, still shedding tears. “And yes, I feel exposed! Are you enjoying the show?!”
The atmosphere grew tense. She sure had attitude. “That’s enough.” Seonghwa whispered. “They get it.”
“No! They don’t get it. I’m the only woman here. I know you’ve all been talking about me and I can feel you all staring at me like I’m a piece of meat. Your kindness doesn’t hide the fact that you’re still men.” Her hands balled into fists and her face reddened with every word. “I feel exposed and vulnerable because I’m used to long and wide skirts. And I’m crying because I’m homesick. None of you will ever understand how scared I am right now.”
“Come on.” Seonghwa grabbed her arm and took her back to the lower decks, digging in a box full of clothes they had either bought or stolen. “This one is pretty big and the cloth is thick. You should feel more… comfortable.”
“Thanks.”
“Go easy on them. I’m the only one from a background like ours. We aren’t supposed to talk about it but you’ll understand them better if you know.” Seonghwa handed her the shirt. “Hongjoong’s parents were butchers. I don’t need to explain to you how low people like our parents view them. He was repeatedly beaten for talking back so he ran away with some pirates and inherited the ship when they all got caught.”
“So he… he’s a lowborn but he’s in charge here?”
Instead of addressing her prejudiced comment, Seonghwa just kept talking. “San was born into slavery. He flirted with a young noblewoman when he was thirteen and was sentenced to be beaten until death. He was running away when Hongjoong found him. He’s only a boatswain because he never learned anything else.”
“What about… the rest of them?”
“Wooyoung and Yeosang were in the Navy but never had the taste for following such strict orders. They know the seas and they’re good at their jobs.” Seonghwa remembered the day Wooyoung and Yeosang arrived. They were planning to steal a ship and escape their lives in Joseon but had stumbled onto The Aurora. Hongjoong has them locked up for several days while he grilled them for information about their pasts.
“Mingi… well, he killed someone out of self defense but he was just a merchant and the other guy was a noble. He wanted to live so… he ended up running right into us while we were ransacking a closed shop for some food.”
“You were stealing?!” She gasped. “But-“
“We’re pirates, Jangmi. Our riches are mostly stolen jewelry and ornaments for hair or clothing. You can’t exactly pay in those anymore. We have coins now.” His voice was laced with sarcasm. He was treating her like she was some sort of snobby idiot and she was getting sick of it.
“Stop treating me like you’re so much better than me.” Jangmi huffed. “You’re making it harder to like you.”
“Who said I wanted you to like me? All I need is respect.” Seonghwa rolled his eyes and stood. “Jongho was found at a shipwreck on an island. He doesn’t remember his past or he doesn’t want to say. But that’s all we know. Yunho used to make pottery. And that’s everyone. Now, I’ll leave you to get changed. Find San when you’re ready. There’s still more to learn.”

TRIGGERING REQUEST! Suicide/Suicide attempt HC
Private request!
“How the main 6 react when they find out MC is suicidal and has attempted more than once, and they find out after a fight?”
Asra:
-Asra would be crushed to say the least. The way he had found out was, shortly after you two had just fought, over the fact that he’s always gone and leaves you alone often when he promised he wouldn’t be gone so often anymore, you had come clean with your story of how suicidal you had been over the years. Going into fine detail as he had asked you to, so that he could get a better understanding of you.
-The entire time, he would be rubbing your back with his hand, quietly saying “Shhh, it’s alright, take your time, there’s no rush MC.” when you would start choking on your sobs when trying to talk. You were a wreck. And this just made Asra a wreck.
- When you finished talking to him, you turned to meet his eyes, only to see he had been silently crying too. He felt even more guilty than before at this point for leaving you alone so often, and made a promise to himself and to you right then and there, this time being far more genuine than before, that although there were some trips he couldn’t just simply avoid, he would start staying home with you more often to ensure you were safe and had his loving company.
-”I’ll take you with me if I need to. I won’t let you be alone often anymore. I can’t. Not when I know you’re suffering more than what meets the eye. MC I promise I’ll be here for you. My life right now would be nothing if it weren’t for you to begin with.”
-When he was done speaking, he would gently brush your tears away with his thumbs and smile weakly, leaning in to give you a sweet and gentle kiss.
Nadia:
-Oh boy she did NOT handle this well. Mentally!
-You two had fought over how sick of Lucio you were and how everyone in Vesuvia still thought Nadia was wed to the count, when it was you she was currently engaged to. (Liberty of the stunning countess herself of course)
-She had stepped into her room to see you sobbing on her bed, and if you were to ask, she would’ve said she felt her heart break in two at the sight of you like this.
-Immediately she would rush to you, sit down, and pull you to her chest, panicked while trying to seem calm all at the same time. “Shhh, MC what’s wrong? What’s wrong my love? I’m here, talk to me dear.”
-She would rock back and forth with you in her arms, now seated in her lap as she practically cradled you while you spilled all your secrets to her, informing her that you had in fact, attempted suicide in recent time. Roughly a month ago. (Let’s skip the details on HOW you attempted)
-When you were done telling her all about what troubles you and the things that bring you to the point of, wishing you were dead, she spoke to you sweetly and soothingly, reassuring you that a lot of the things you were worried about shouldn’t be a reason to die.
-”You’re the sun in my sky and the love of my life, MC. Without you, my life would be meaningless aside from ruling Vesuvia. I will do everything in my power to ensure that whatever things may be upsetting you don't harm you the way they still do, but you must promise me you’re going to stay alive. Not just for me, but for yourself. Have I made myself clear?”
-Once you two were done and you had confirmed you would do your best to stay alive for her, and for yourself as she had said, she gave you a chaste kiss, mumbling a soft “good” against your lips before laying down on the pile of pillows that overcrowded her bed, pulling you into a cuddle session.
Julian:
-Considering he has his own severely bad mentality, he would understand where you're coming from with your suicidal mentality. Although, it made him burst into tears instantly, since he was just about to come and apologize for the argument you two had gotten in.
-You both had fought over how he needs to stop glorifying his own sadness and being so overly dramatic all the time before things got even farther out of hand. You were trying to be firm with him but he had started his whole sob story about not being good enough for you and you just weren’t having it. When he found you after you had stormed off, he had brought you a single red rose and was about ready to get on his knees and beg you for forgiveness, when he noticed your watery eyes and immediately asked what was wrong.
-When you finally broke and began full on sobbing, he pulled you into his lap, tossing the rose to the side in the process and held you close to his chest.
- “MC, what’s wrong my dearest? Tell me all that troubles you, I’m listening.”
-His reaction would be very sympathetic, sad, and also understanding. But he wasn’t happy about it. (Of course he wasn’t I’m just running out of things to write *insert finger guns here*)
-He would begin a long speech on the spot about how he was a walking terror before you stepped into his life, far worse of a man than he is now, and how without you he could never be the man he is today, regardless of how troublesome and caught up in his own imaginative world that he’s a bad guy he can be at times.
-”MC please promise me you won’t die. I’ll do better to protect you I swear on it. I can’t lose you. Not again.”
-HELL YEAH he would kiss you, this sweet baby would pepper your entire face with kisses and spend the next few hours rambling on about how much he adores you, slipping in a few stories of his younger years to cheer you up after crying every now and then, until you both passed out on the ground together.
Portia:
-She would probably be the one to have started the argument between you both, claiming you’re always so busy at the shop and how jealous she is of you and Asra’s close friendship.
-She would later on be trying to find you so that she can apologize, after she had already cried herself, when she heard your sobs coming from her kitchen. When she stepped in, she saw you hunched over the dining table and sobbing.
-She immediately rushed to your aid, already crying again when she reached you.
-She would be profusely apologizing, begging you to forgive her and saying she honestly doesn’t mind your friendship with Asra and that she was just jealous when you shushed her through your tears, telling her that it had nothing to do with the argument.
-No matter how much taller you may be than her, she would somehow swing you up and drag you to her room, pushing you onto the bed and cuddling up next to you.
-”What’s the matter MC? Tell me all that upsets you. Don’t spare a single detail.”
-After you were done telling her about your few attempts of suicide, she would be an even worse sobbing mess than you, hiding her face in your chest and clinging onto your body.
-”MC don’t you ever hurt yourself like that again! The only reason you better be dying is by natural causes like, age!”
-She would tell you for the next hour about how badly she needed you in her life and how nothing would be the same for anyone if you died anytime soon, promising that she’ll be at your beck and call whenever she can.
Muriel:
-You would probably be upset with him for not wanting to go out with you on a date when you offered it, after telling him about how sad you are that you two never really go out, at all.
-He would just shrug. That was all it took to piss you off and send you fleeing outside to be with the chickens.
-A few hours would pass before you heard the heavy footsteps of your lover approach you from behind, him immediately growing tense when he saw your hunched over body.
- “..I’m sorry MC.”
-You would burst out crying, telling him you’re the one who should be sorry, going on about how you have no right being upset about him being really reserved due to what suffering Lucio put him through, and you would accidentally blurt out something along the lines of “What you went through is nothing compared to my death.”
-This would get his attention, and from his standing position he would silently stare as you sobbed on about your suicide attempts. When you were done he would sit next to you and drape his cloak around you, pulling you close to his side without a word for the next twenty minutes.
-”..Please don’t ever die MC.” Was all he could manage to say, and when you looked at him, he too, was in tears.
-You two sat in comfortable silence together for a while, before agreeing to go inside and continue talking. And once you both had finished doing that too, you both went to bed considering how worn out you two were after crying and arguing. Although it was mostly emotional exhaustion.
Lucio:
-As per usual (considering he’s stubborn beyond belief, you two obviously get into arguments fairly often) you two had gotten into a fight over how snobby and self absorbed he is, Lucio being the one to storm off out of anger because you refused to believe that he was always in the right.
-When he found you, you were staring blankly at the canopy ceiling of his bed, limbs sprawled out with tear stained cheeks.
-He would be about to make a bratty remark about if you’re done denying he’s right when he notices the little tear stains on his bed next to your head.
-He wouldn’t know how to react, at first being fairly confused. A little angry too. Not at you, but at whatever was upsetting you. (Lucio you dumb fuck 💀)
-He would awkwardly sit on the edge of the bed and ask you what’s wrong, but before you could begin he would demand you sit on your stain so he could lay his head in your lap. Once you complied, he rested his head in your lap and looked up at you, resting his hand on yours as his silent gesture for relaxing you.
-After you had told him about your attempts at suicide, he’d be angry. Not at you, he’s stupid but he isn’t that stupid, but at all that had brought you to this point, including the people. And, even through his stuck up mannerism, the count himself felt a sliver of guilt.
-”I’ll banish everyone and everything that upsets you! Not a single person will go without being beheaded!” He would start, soon being cut off by you telling him there’s no need. He would be persistent at first, until you talk him out of it, saying there are other ways to handle things.
-After a little more talking, he would’ve sat up and turned himself so that he could hide his face in the crook of your neck, in hopes you wouldn’t tense up or push him away. And when you didn’t, he had lazily wrapped his arms around you in a weak hug.
-Pleased with your calm reaction, he would sit up and grab your head, pulling your face close to his to give you one of his very rare sweet and chaste kisses.
-”I cant bear the thought of losing you, MC.”
My sincere apologies if this is poorly written or I wasn’t the best at portraying the characters! I’m trying to get better I promise!
