i really need to get better about taking notes on interesting stuff when i read academic shit because i'm constantly remembering neat things and forgetting where i read them or the details that would be useful when trying to look them up again :(

#text post #right now i have vague memories of reading about a woman who conducted a psychiatric study on gay men in the 40s or 50s iirc #proooobably 40s bc i feel like it was pre kinsey and sort of discussed as one of the first of its kind? i think? in being sympathetic #and concluding that gay men are just as well adjusted as anyone else #but i can't remember anything that would help me look it up esp since i don't remember if it was even ultimately published or not #or if i read about it in a book or article or what #:(
