I don't even use photo IDs, but for the love of god every time someone tells someone else to stop putting IDs in the post bc alt text exists I feel like breaking out in hives
#personal;#why are we fighting against the accessibility tool being the most accessible it can be?#right! bc ableds wanna be able to pretend disabled people don't exist my bad i forgot for a second there#<- sarcasm#like i'm not gonna tell anyone who does alt only to make in post IDs instead#but i will always ALWAYS voice my 2¢ when someome asks the opinions of the followers#bc i don't use IDs bc i can see fine with my glasses but that alt text button? is incredibly hard to hit sometimes#to say nothing of it lulls people into complacency- the number of incomplete alt texts i find is bizarre#why not ID the tweet being quoted? the rest of the un IDd images in the thread?#like....#when it's not visible people do a shoddier job
