D-Clone - Nerveskade(
WOW. This shit came out in 2011 but I still wanna talk about how much I like it. D-clone goes full on noisecore on this release, not to slap a label on it. Much like Gai or confuse, the bass drives what little melody is present, but unlike those earlier bands, D-clone relies very little on the poppy bass melody, and lets it sit in the back, at least on the mix. Probably a pogo party live. The guitar work is fucking insane, and definitely fulfills everything I’m looking for from a Japanese noisecore outfit. This is my favorite D-clone release I’ve heard up to this point. Their side is superior in many ways (imho) to the lesser known, but still masterful, Nerveskade. Willing t admit this is my first time hearing them, next I’ll bop/post their demo. I like their sound, simple . Found track list on Discogs (I”ll post below.) but it only accounts for 3 songs (2 from d-clone, which seems accurate) and I’m hearing more. Still their side has really creative moments with the song structure, which makes it a joy to listen to. certain parts are a little less unqique sounding to me. Still a great take on noise raw punk without relying heavily on d-beat or using tropes so it’s a breath of fresh air. All love, I could jam both sides pretty endlessly. did some research, Nerveskade is from Portland, Oregon. Their demo is cool, more like American hardcore in many ways, but with noisey ass guitars and rippin solos that sound more like the Japanese style. Very sick.
Any relation to Portland band Libenden Toten?
