➵ daryl worries teeth over the inside of his lower lip, a habit he had when he was thinking something over - blue gaze shifting out the window for a moment. "y'know i'll help however i can," he murmurs, before looking back over. "just say the word."

➵ daryl doesn't say anything, at least, not right away - absently worrying at a hangnail with his teeth while he listens to rick's rant. sharp blues track the ex-cop's stressed pacing, daryl waiting until there's a couple beats of silence to be sure rick is done talking before he looks down at his crossbow he'd been cleaning. "y'ain't ask for it, but people look up t'you anyway. jus' the way it's been." the archer knows that rick knows that, but he knows sometimes it can help to be reminded of it. "but.." he glances up slightly, through the fringe of hair that's almost always in his face. "ain't mean y'gotta shoulder that burden alone, neither."
