Figured out today that current capitalism isn’t trade with intent to profit, it’s a fucking get rich quick scheme and that’s why there’s barely any apartments to rent and if there are then rent is astronomical!

It’s about getting as much money as quickly as possible and then moving on to something else while also keeping that wealth

Renting at a reasonable rate would get you a decent income per month for doing very little if anything, but it’s seen as a loss when you can sell an apartment for Big Number so to compromise they’re letting people rent but only if rent is Smaller Big Number
