rhythmtober day 1 - favourite game!

i couldnt decide to draw my favourite installment in the series or my favourite minigame, so i instead drew both! i got introduced to the series through RHDS and my fav minigame of all time is lockstep :)

yes!!! i tried playing it with glue (the other moderator) when they came to visit and oh my god it was kind of awful in the best possible way- as a big rhythm game fan who's played lots of 3DS/DS rhythm games I feel bad saying it might be the worst one I've ever played, but the soundtrack was so good it kind of made up for it??? the game is also incredibly camp. i do have a big soft spot for grand thief types in video games as well, i just wish the game ran better LOL

the game's official OST is on youtube music which I have listened to many times.

ik its one of the most popular minigames in the series but i had to draw lockstep propaganda bc its my absolute favourite...

the characters are cute, the music slaps, and its rly fun and rewarding once you get the hang of it :)
