Muy crabbo!!

I’ve been busy being poor and sick and trying to not make it anyone else’s problem, but here are some updates:

watched ghost in the shell again

tonight and wow i forgot how influential that film was to me. i literally based my ideal shape for myself off of her, even down to the hair style. the film also set the basis for every ideal sci-fi city in my head, it’s what i think of when i hear “future city”.

visited my family for the holidays

they were pretty accepting of me being rhysa now, messed up my name a few times, but it was funny because i didn’t respond, not out of anger or being bothered but because i’m at that point where i literally don’t get called that name anymore. still gotta work on their pronouns, but one small step at a time.

i’m… happy?

like, i finally feel like i’ve fully realized myself and who i am. now that i’m separated from the air force and able to forge my own path forward, i’m just… happy. i’m struggling financially, sure, but regarding myself and my brain? i’m content. i have aspirations and goals and don’t plan on giving up.

the future?

for 2025 i have three major goals i’ll list in order from easiest to most difficult:

1. i want to start doing more DIY and sewing, altering and making my own clothes. i have plenty of small clothes i can prolly adjust to fit me with patience and practice.

2. i want to buy a home. while i’m not happy about my having served in the military, i qualify for the VA Home Loan and would like to utilize it to buy a house by my birthday which i’ll use for…

3. The Rhysa Fey NorCal Dollhouse

this is a project i want to setup preparing for the horror that is the trump administration.

i essentially want to build auxiliary dwelling units on my property i can lend to any trans girls who lose their housing and work with them to get them rehomed. i also plan on having permanent renters, whom would also be other trans girls. with the impending bullshit, i fear that we’re going to see a lot more queer folks on the street, and if this is a success, it would be great to set up a network of similar safehouse projects. we need to look out for each other and i’m trying to actually be more involved with my community.
