The Cafe, Westerly Rhode Island.
Westerly RI will always have a special place in my heart. As a kid we always went to Watch Hill in the summer for beautiful beaches and little coastal shops. As I got older we still went to the beaches and then Ocean House for special lunches or dinners or occasions @oceanhouseri 🌊 We also always liked the restaurants in downtown Westerly! For a small coastal town they really do have alot of delicious places to eat. One of these places is @thecaferi 🥘
The dish I ordered at The Cafe was a special dish with pasta and seafood! I always try to get specials at restaurants because they may never have that dish again. This dish had fresh seafood, delicious pasta and the most important thing (in my option) delicious sauce! I would expect fresh seafood in Westerly and this restaurant did not disappoint.
I would recommend this cozy restaurant to anyone who is looking for delicious food and drinks in a warm and intimate setting!
Based on presentation and taste of this dish at @thecaferi I would rate it a 8 out of 10.

Aunt Carrie’s, Narragansett RI.
It’s not a lobster roll, it’s lobster on Aunt Carrie’s Homemade Bread 🦞
It’s not that I don’t like Aunt Carrie’s it’s just that I prefer Iggy’s lobster rolls.
Aunt Carrie’s offers lobster in a way I have never had it, on homemade bread. I got the hot lobster sandwich served with butter! The lobster is very fresh and it tastes delicious. I like the option of it on homemade bread because I feel like there is less calories and you can taste the lobster and butter better. This is a delicious option if you don’t want to eat a whole roll. The lettuce under the lobster gives the sandwich a nice refreshing crunch.
Whether you like Iggy’s or Aunt Carrie’s both places have great food and a fun, relaxed atmosphere. They both are great places to head after the beach or after a beautiful day in Point Judith!
Based on presentation and taste the lobster sandwich I rate this dish a 8 out of 10.

Bristol Oyster Bar, Bristol RI.
Buck a Shuck- Local Oysters
Seared Tuna- citrus, asparagus, spicy aioli, crispy sweet potato
Fish Tacos- flour tortillas, local greens, cilantro crème fraiche
The Bristol Oyster House is nestled in the heart of downtown Bristol, in an historic building that has served as a Customs House, Post Office, and the YMCA. The 1857 brick building provides the restaurant with massive windows, tall ceilings, and classic New England charm. The cozy inside dining room features an open kitchen and when the weather is nice they have a lovely patio overlooking the main street of Bristol. This restaurant prides itself on having local seafood, whether it is raw or cooked the seafood is fresh.
If you are a fan of oysters you love Buck a Shuck! Bristol Oyster Bar offers this deal a few times a week. We got a dozen oysters all from local oyster farms. If you order oysters a lot you will know every oyster is different, some are more salty, some are more sweet and some do not have much of a taste at all. Even if you add cocktail sauce, horseradish or lemon you can taste the difference. Out of all the oysters I tried here my favorite was the Hope Island Oysters. Hope Island is an island in the Narragansett Bay in the town of Portsmouth RI.
The fish tacos were the best fish tacos I have ever tasted! Haddock was the fished they used for the tacos and they were fried perfectly. A light fried batter really allowed me to taste the fish. The cilantro crème fraiche gave the tacos a nice spice and a little kick of flavor.
The seared tuna was delicious, it was nice and light and perfect for a meal after eating oysters. The tuna was fresh and seared to perfection. The spicy aioli gave the tuna a little spice and the veggies helped the dish stay nice and light. The crispy sweet potatoes were amazing and the crunchiness of the potato paired with the spice and fresh tuna made the dish a perfect combination of all the tastes you want in a light seafood dish.
My experience at the Bristol Oyster Bar was nothing but perfect! The service was amazing and they let us take our time with the oysters, we did not feel rushed. I can’t wait to go for more Buck a Shuck and other items on their menu!
Based on presentation and taste of the Raw Oysters at the Bristol Oyster Bar I would rate these oysters a 10 out of 10.
Based on presentation and taste of the Fish Tacos I would rate these tacos a 10 out of 10.
Based on presentation and taste of the Seared Tuna I would rate this Tuna a 9 out of 10.

Red Fin Crudo + Kitchen, Providence RI. Conch Fritters- Conch fritters with chipotle aioli and mixed greens. There are so many amazing dishes at Red Fin, I could not write a review for just one! Like I said in my post below Red Fin Crudo + Kitchen is an amazing restaurant with a variety of dishes to choose from. Their menu offers seasonal specials which will leave you wondering what is to come in the future. Not only do they serve wine and beer but they also offer handcrafted cocktails and specialty cocktails. Red Fin Crudo + Kitchen also offers unique events at their restaurant. One of these events is the 5 Course Celebrity Chefs Dinner + Sage Cellars Wine Pairings that benefits the Adoption and Foster Care of Rhode Island. Patrons can enjoy a nice meal and some wine while supporting a great cause! You might be asking yourself what is a conch? Remember when you were younger and you use to find the big shells on the beach and would hold them up to your ear to hear the waves? Ok, maybe that was just me! Well those big shells are conch shells. Conch Fritters are considered to be the food of The Bahamas. Conch meat can be eaten many different ways; raw, deep-fried as fritters, in chowders and gumbos, and even in burgers. I have never heard of conch fritters before and they were on the specialty menu so I had to try them! I have had similar foods, such as Hush Puppies or Clam Fritters but never conch. Well, let me tell you I have found a new favorite dish. The conch fritters at this restaurant are amazing and melt in your mouth. The batter is nice and crispy to give it the texture but it is not overwhelming and you can taste the conch meat. To me the conch meat had the same taste of a clam, but it was delicious. The chipotle aioli with the sweeter batter gave the dish a nice spicy flavoring. It was not really spicy but a nice burst of spice to go with the dish. The mixed greens were fresh and grown locally. They topped off the dish well and mixed with the chipotle aioli. I wish this dish was not on their specialty menu, I hope they add it to their normal menu. Once again Red Fin did not disappoint with their friendly wait staff and delicious meals. Based on presentation and taste of the Red Fin Crudo + Kitchen conch fritters I would rate this dish a 9 out of 10.
