RHUGT3 Wasn’t the Best Girls Trip

This trip to Phuket was wasted on this bunch. It says a lot about this group of women when their concierge ended up being the star of the show.

There are different reasons for why this trip wasn’t entertaining and they variate, depending on who you ask.

If you were to ask me, I would claim that Gizelle Bryant ruined the trip. Others would argue that Leah McSweeney was a casting mistake.

Maybe it was a mistake to bring housewives who hadn’t filmed their reunion yet, like the women from RHOP and RHOSLC.

Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton wasn’t that much fun on this trip either.

There was only one on this trip that was able to use it to her advantage, and that was Porsha Williams, and she wasn’t even supposed to be there!

She was the replacement of Tinsley Mortimer.

At least the women on the other shows were able to prove how vital they were for the franchise, and that’s why the Ex-Wives Club remains as the best Ultimate Girls Trip for me.

Tamra Judge was asked back to RHOC, Vicki Gunvalson was allowed to film as a friend, and Taylor Armstrong is the first housewife to ever switch shows!

Brandi Glanville, Eva Marcille, Phaedra Parks and Vicki was asked back for another season of RHUGT and that was a huge victory for them, in my view.

Well, until whatever happened between Brandi and Caroline Manzo happened…

While the first and second season is highly rewatchable, I would probably never watch this season again. It just wasn’t a fun season to watch.

And in my opinion, Gizelle is mostly to blame for that. 

The drama with her missing tequila bottle wasn’t needed or entertaining, and she forced us through it.

She made their concierge, Pepsi, cry!

But there were too many tag teams on this trip, and they steamrolled all over the younger women. 

Bravo and Peacock needs to avoid this type of casting in the future.

But with the ugly drama between Caroline and Brandi in RHUGT4, it makes me wonder: Is RHUGT in trouble now?

Dear Andy Cohen,

I have been a fan of your shows. I have watched at least three Housewives' franchises religiously, from very first episode (NY, BH and OC). I've enjoyed the strong personalities, the rivalry, the gossip, all of it. I tell you this just to be clear that I'm not above it or overly PC or preferring PBS to BRAVO. But today I woke up to a news story that Ryan Vieth, Tamra Judge's son on RHOC, took to Instagram to call for the murder of trans people. Specifically, referring to someone who sued a baker for refusing to make a cake to celebrate someone's transition he said,

“Hopefully this guy goes on a rampage and kills whatever transgendered f**k head took him to court. Oops did I just say that.” And then he also said,

“This country needs to kill off this f**kery bulls**t.”

HE CALLED FOR MURDER. AND YOU'VE SAID NOTHING. Where are we, Uganda? What is happening that a gay friendly TV show has no issue with one of their stars CALLING FOR MURDER?

Andy, I have an 11 year-old trans son. I spend many days worried about his future and the future of all the amazing kids who are brave enough to be themselves in the face of misunderstanding, bullying and judgement. I have cried myself to sleep knowing that people are murdered strictly because they were born with a body that doesn't match their brain.

I worry about these things and yet, if I'm being honest, part of me that thinks that those horrendous acts of violence and abhorrent negative attitudes happen in other states, to other people. I think that my family is safe here in our California bubble surrounded by people with compassion and progressive values. And then I hear this news about Ryan, someone who lives a sweet comfy life in the OC and who, by the way, has already committed domestic violence. The fact that he felt free enough to say these things, in public while he is employed by Bravo and works for you, a gay man makes me realize we are not safe. We will never be safe. And in a way I thank God that Ryan is just dumb fuck enough to put his views on Instagram so that I can have get this reality check and not stay lulled into complacency. There is so much work to be done. And I and every parent of a trans kid, demand that you get off your ass and stand up against this hateful bigot today. I am awake and ready to fight.

what does the "ls" actually mean in your tags? idk if youve explained this before or not if so sorry i just dont remember seeing an explanation and it doesnt exactly like, pop out at you either

i don’t remember if i explained it… maybe once as an ask response, and not recently.

ls is short for lockstep and all of my stepswitcher/stepswitcher related ocs have it. all my rhocs have some sort of thing at the end of their tags, come to think… (rei ls = rei lockstep, takumi tt = takumi talltapper, choral ck = choral choruskid, etc…)
