I was living in the Bay Area back when all those Black Twilight/ Rhinocervs bands were active and if I'm being honest that whole scene was honestly a little too "hip" for me. Fueled more by people's need to seem "with it" and a perceived scarcity of physical product than the actual quality of the music.
That being said, I always really liked this tape. Cool buzzing/ droning black metal with a gloomy EFX-overloaded melodic edge that reminds me of goth or post punk. That third track in particular is an absolute masterpiece.

Rhinocervs - RH-07 (2011)
I wish Rhinocervs was still together. Yagian and A. had such a propensity for crafting obtuse and dense yet melodic black metal. Nothing since has been able to satisfy the itch they were scratching.
