Actress Rhea Chakraborty arrived at Bandra police station on Thursday morning to record her statement in regards to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Rhea, widely rumoured to have been the late actor’s girlfriend, arrived at the police station dressed in white and wearing a mask.

Sushant was found hanging at his Bandra residence on Sunday morning. It is reported that the actor was going through clinical depression over the past six months or so. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh announced in a video clip on his Twitter account that the police would investigate the cause of Sushant’s depression.

So far, Mumbai Police have recorded the statement of Rajput’s cook, caretaker and managers, along with close friend and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra, who was directing the actor in his upcoming film, “Dil Bechara”.

NCB Challenges Bail of Bollywood Actress Rhea Chakraborty in Supreme Court of India

As per the latest Bollywood News, Rhea Chakraborty is currently facing so much trouble after getting connected with the death of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR). The latest buzz is that NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) has taken a big leap forward to challenge the bail plea of Chakraborty in Supreme Court after releasing the charge sheet.

Please note that Rhea Chakraborty had earlier applied for an interim relief and was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in connection with procuring and giving drugs to her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) who was found dead at his residence at Bandra, Mumbai.

Right from the beginning, rhea Chakraborty was the number one suspect as she was the only one who spent most of the time with Sushant. The drug angle in Bollywood came to light when one of the associates of Rajput revealed that he used to get some medicines by Rhea Chakraborty.

Upon further investigation into the matter, it was learnt that Rhea used to procure and give drugs to SSR without his consent. The situation became worse when the Bollywood star was found dead on the morning of June 14, 2020. Well, it was an unfortunate incident to happen.

Soon after confirming an angle of drugs, NCB came into the light and started investigating the case thoroughly. It was not the only agency to have started investigating the case though as the case was already sent to the CBI for proper investigation into the case.

As per the recent Bollywood News, It was the parents of the late actor who also charged Rhea Chakraborty with procuring and giving drugs to him. And it all started when the father of Sushant Singh Rajput filed an FIR to the Patna police station and stated that the entire family has a doubt on the credentials of rhea Chakraborty.

What NCB Can Do Now?

Later when NCB continued its investigation into the matter, it found that she was in fact procuring drugs and other illegal material which are totally banned. It included banned drugs like Charas, LSD and others. Slowly and steadily, NCB found a huge drug syndicate in Bollywood which clearly stated that something is going wrong in the industry. Today, Rhea Chakraborty is not only charged with procuring drugs but also giving them to Sushant Singh Rajput without his consent.

Since there is a huge nexus involved in the death of the Bollywood actor, it looks as the investigating agencies like NCB and CBI are passing time. But now, there is some hope after NCB finally released the charge sheet accusing Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Shovik Chakraborty and many others connected in the case.

It was Rhea who was blamed right from the beginning. And now, the angle of Sushant Singh Rajput death and the drugs angle has once again surfaced to the social media where a huge demand is underway to arrest her as soon as possible.

As per BJP Minister Ravi Tiwari Bihari, NCB has approached to the Supreme Court as the investigating agency has found something very conclusive. And this is the reason why the central investigating body has approached to the apex court.

On the eve of March 12, 1930, Gandhi with his band of 78 followers, set out on a 241-mile journey from Sabermati to the coastal town of Dandi, with thousands more joining him during the course of his expedition. The father of the Indian nation dedicated his entire life to propagating the message of leading a simple life, built on beliefs such as Satya (truth) and Ahimsa (non-violence). Yet, only 70 years past his demise, we’ve devolved into a society dripping with deceit and intolerance. The malice has seeped so deep into our very beings that Gandhi’s lessons have become just an afterthought, his words echoing behind the bars of the cage we’ve erected around our conscience, a place only a few ever traverse.

Our core values are like a mirror to the soul within. People’s beliefs transform into their psyche and it takes the bare minimum to push these thoughts into action. Which end of the spectrum these actions materialise, is determined by the very values we hold so close to our being. Gandhi tried to lay foundation to a system of values, values that represent the epitome of what defines humanity and worked towards integrating these values into the pre-established moral code of people. However, it seems that his dreams to build a society based upon morality have fallen short.

ERA OF VIOLENCE & BLOODSHED

The Delhi riots of 2020 were a picture of dirty politics, police brutality and communal violence. The protests that happened in the light of the Citizenship Amendment Act (2019) turned particularly gruesome when clashes broke out between the Hindu and the Muslim community, with the blatant abuse of power by the police just adding fuel to the fire. Had Gandhi lived to see this day, he would have been heartbroken to see his country in such shambles, with its people burning in the fire of rage, intolerance, sufferance and a thirst for the blood of their own countrymen, brothers by soul.

It seems that the ship is sinking, as people have started equating activism to abuse and physical violence. Violence has never been and never will be the key to resolving conflict. One of the key pillars for Gandhi’s phenomenon of Swaraj was Hindu-Muslim unity. It is about welcoming the idea that every individual is unique, with a unique identity, personality, beliefs and perspective, shaped by their diverse background and experiences. It goes beyond borders, gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, physicality as well as station.

The Transgender Protection Act (2019) was an oxymoron in itself. The Act was a half-hearted attempt at making transgender lives more “secure” and drew heavy criticism from the Indian transgender community and the general public, due to its highly regressive nature. The day of its approval termed as the “Gender Justice Murder Day”, the Act was an embodiment of violation of the rights and privacy of the transgender community. The provisions suggesting at disturbing certification processes, leniency in punishment of perpetrators of sexual crimes against transgender people and suggestion of setting-up “rehabilitation centres”, just proved how intolerant, untrusting and afraid the country has become towards the “different”. Having to seek validation from the system to be recognised as transgender and constantly fighting to lead a normal, somewhat peaceful life, is just an insight into society’s blatant disrespect and disregard of these people’s faith and identity, a new norm for this country.

TRUTH, A BITTER PILL TO SWALLOW

The society has become weak, the people scared of the truth, so much so that a person’s truth is highly bothersome to many. People would much rather prefer living in the shadow of a lie than being confronted by the harsh glare of the truth. The society only wants a single narrative, the convenient one.

They are just angry that the truth you speak contradicts the lie they live.

Sushant Singh Rajput death: Police record Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s statement

Mumbai Police on Monday recorded the statement of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

The director arrived at Bandra Police Station on Monday morning to give his statement.

As per reports, late actor Sushant was approached by Bhansali for his 2013 film “Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela”. However, Sushant could not take up the offer reportedly due to his contract with a production house. Later Ranveer Singh was signed for the role. The female lead was played by Deepika Padukone and the film turned out to be a superhit.

Meanwhile Mumbai Police has, over the past weeks, also recorded statements of Sushant’s family, staff, a few of his friends, and rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, besides filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra and actress Sanjana Sanghi who worked with the late actor in his upcoming last film “Dil Bechara”.

Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail on October 7 by the Bombay High Court. While the actress walked out of prison after spending 28 days in it, her brother Showik Chakraborty‘s plea was rejected by the court.

Meanwhile, reports of Rhea meeting Sushant Singh Rajput on the evening of June 13, a day before his untimely demise, have been making rounds on the internet. Addressing these reports, her lawyer Satish Maneshinde has shared a new statement.

He said, “I had said that once Rhea Chakraborty is out on bail we will start going after people, who defamed and tried to destroy her life n morale, for a two-minute glory on electronic media carrying fake news.”

Furthermore, he added, “One such person was Dimple Thawani, a neighbour of RC who claims she is an SSR fan and believes she is his soulmate due to a past life connection. She claims that someone told her that SSR dropped RC home on the 13th.”

Maneshinde continued, “It’s a baseless rumour by a fan, who is part of the media circus and wants to share the limelight with others who claim to know SSR. Her statement was recorded by CBI today and you will all be glad to know what she said to CBI in her statement. I would request all honest Journalists to go to her now and record what she has to say. Satya Meva Jayate.”

Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court has also pronounced many conditions as it granted bail to Rhea. Apart from furnishing a bail amount of one lakh, the court has asked the actress to mark her presence for 10 days at the nearest police station. Apart from that, it is also reported that Rhea has been asked to deposit her passport along with a few more conditions as well.
