Hey! Thanks for your really cool blog. I come back to catch up every once in a while!
I have been asking myself if you can recommend any similar blogs / content creators for other ancient languages, like Hittite, Ancient Egyptian, etc.
Hope you have a nice day!
Hello, and thanks for the kind words! I just reblogged a listing from sisterofiris with some potentially interesting blogs for you, but I don't have many recommendations beyond that. The best Hittite blog I know is @sisterofiris' own, whose blog is now archived (but with years of amazing material to look through!)
If anyone has good recommendations for @rhagas of Hittite, Ancient Egyptian, or other ancient language blogs, please reblog with them below!

Rhagal sniffed watching his father bandage his hand.
"I'm fine Papa. I don't -"
"There's nothing brave about suffering in silence Rhagal."
His voice was soft, solemn. He had to force those memories back to the back of his mind. The bodies of children slaughter for trying to defend their parents. Etele's path of bloody destruction to a throne she'd once called cursed.
He exhaled and looked to his son. He cupped his cheek and lifted him from the counter he'd placed him on. He knelt before him, trying to be like he is usually.
He bit his lip and focused on probably the one thing that would distract Rhagal.
"I was going to see Grandpa Embris today. Did you want to come Rhagal? I bet he'll let you ride one of his pegasi if you ask nicely."
Rhaga's face lit up and Viren committed it to memory. He would fight and tooth nail to make sure his son always got to experiencing that.
He had never wanted to be a burden to either of his parent, especially not now he had baby sisters to look after. Not now his mother was once more pregnant with another sibling he would love and hope to help as a big brother. It was why he had hidden his injury, why he had snuck into the healing ward alone.
Where his father had caught him struggling to reach for something. How it all lead to this scene right now, how he sat and listened to the older male.
He always looked up to him, he always took his lessons to heart. There was nothing brave about suffering in silence, he would make sure it was something he would never do again.
“Do…Do you think Grandpa Embris will tell me their names? Mama would start talking about her time there, but then she seemed to goes quiet. Does Mama suffer? Does she tell you so she doesn’t suffer in silence?”

Current Sith Warrior, Noth Rhaga. I was going to save him for post-7.0 update because I wanted him to have a double-bladed lightsaber, but I've been having a tough time so I decided to give myself a gift and just run him as a marauder (tho I've given up on every marauder I've tried, so here's hoping...). Backstory things happened so he needs a rebreather most of the time.
He's also showing off my version of the zabrak. If mirialans are snake people, and miraluka are bat people, then zabrak are rhino-cats.
I've got a fair amount typed up for species, but I'm not sure if I'm done with it yet. When I feel it's ready, I'll post it.

Rhaegar huffed letting Lyanna winnow them away.
"Lya! We are going to miss the -"
"I am not letting you marry me in some winter altar in the middle of no - Auntie Sarai!"
Lyanna spun back pressing a quick kiss to Rhaegar's nose before she ran to Sarai.
"Can you plan us a ceremony before Rhaga convinces me to elope?"
Sarai turned when she heard someone calling her name, the sight of Lyanna rushing toward her caused her to smile. The blessing of how close she was with Rhaegar, how well she fitted in with them, made her glad to have her.
She paused with a blink when she asked the question. A ceremondy? She looked to her son, to know that he was already thinking of this at this time. Her look of surprise turned into a small disapproving scowl. "Rhaegar you know better than that, you are welcoming her into our family. Elopement?"
Taking Lyanna's hand, she guided her away from her son. "What type of ceremony would you like? What kind of dress? If my son tries to elope you come see me, you deserve better."

Originally Noth Rhaga was a jedi knight and looked like this before I deleted him and poached his name for the sith warrior I posted a while back. But because I'm horrifically indecisive, I ended up liking jedi Noth better, so I deleted the SW and restarted the JK AGAIN.
I got a lot of inspiration from Agen Kolar and Eeth Koth. Other than the neck tattoo, I haven't thought out what his body tattoos look like, so that much may change. Basically the base body and face shape are the same, I just went back and changed his horns, hair, and tattoos. This is the first thing I've fully cleaned up and did proper lineart for in months.

Tehran Persian: تهران – Tehrān‎‎ is the capital of Iran and Tehran Province. With a population of around 9 million in the city and 16 million in the wider metropolitan area,[3] Tehran is the largest city and urban area of Iran, the second largest city in Western Asia, and the 3rd largest in the Middle East. It is ranked 29th in the world by the population of its metropolitan area.[4]
In the Classical era, part of the present-day city of Tehran was occupied by a Median city which in the Avesta occurs as Rhaga.[5] It was destroyed by the Mongols in the early 13th century, and remains now as a city in Tehran Province, located towards the south end of the modern-day city of Tehran.
Tehran was first chosen as the capital of Iran by Agha Mohammad Khan of the Qajar dynasty in 1796, in order to remain in close reach of Iran’s territories in the Caucasus, at that time still part of Iran, and to avoid vying factions of previous Iranian dynasties. The capital has been moved several times throughout the history, and Tehran is the 32nd national capital of Iran.
The city was the seat of Qajars and Pahlavis, the two last imperial dynasties of the country. It is home to many historical monuments, such as the royal complexes of Golestan, Saadabad, and Niavaran, as well as the country’s most important governmental buildings of the modern period.
Large scale demolition and rebuilding began in the 1920s, and Tehran has been subject of mass migration of people from all over Iran, since the 20th century.[6]
The most famous landmarks of the city include the Azadi Tower, a memorial built during the Pahlavi period, and the Milad Tower, the world’s 17th tallest freestanding structure which was built in 2007. The newly built Tabiat Bridge is considered as the 3rd symbol of the city.[7]
Majority of the people of Tehran are Persian-speaking people who identify themselves as Persians,[8][9] and roughly 99% of the population understand and speak Persian; but there are also populations of other Iranian ethnicities such as Azerbaijanis, Armenians, Lurs, and Kurds who speak Persian as their second language.[10]
Tehran is served by the Mehrabad and Khomeini international airports, a central railway station, the rapid transit rail system of Tehran Metro, as well as trolleybus and BRT systems, and has a huge network of highways.
There have been plans to relocate Iran’s capital from Tehran to another area; due mainly to air pollution and the city’s exposure to earthquakes.

Alphabet of Dreams
Mitra and her little brother, Babak, are beggars in the city of Rhagae, scratching out a living as best as they can with what they can beg for–or steal. But Mitra burns with hope and ambition, for she and Babak are not what they seem. They are of royal blood, but their father’s ill-fated plot against the evil tyrant, King Phraates, has resulted in their father’s death and their exile. Now disguised as a boy, Mitra has never given up believing they can rejoin what is left of their family and regain their rightful standing in the world. Then they discover that Babak has a strange gift: If he sleeps with an item belonging to someone, he can know that person’s dreams. Soon Babak and his abilities come to the attention of a powerful Magus–one who has read portents in the stars of the coming of a new king and the dawn of a new age. Soon Mitra and Babak find themselves on the road to Bethlehem . . . The acclaimed author of Shadow Spinner returns to ancient Persia in this spellbinding saga–a tale filled with the color of the caravansaries and the heat of the desert, a tale that reimagines the wonder and spirit of a lost age.
