We'll Meet Again (Part 5)
Rex Brown x Female Reader
Summary: Finally, the night has come where you and Rex are getting some alone time together... but will everything turn out just the way you had planned, or will chaos be unleashed?

Butterflies fluttered in my stomach, and I had splashed water across my face about five times already. I constantly peered down at my wristwatch as I counted down the minutes until Rex would arrive. Earlier, I had even found my way into my mom’s liquor cabinet, taking several swigs of whiskey. The poison burned my insides, and made me woozy and funny.
I stalked to my bedroom where I had spent most of the afternoon changing my bedsheets and shoving the junk I had scattered around my bedroom into the closet. I stood back as I admired my work, and cocked my head to the side, it was the best I could do.
As I stood in front of my mirror I inspected the outfit I had on, it wasn’t anything over the top. Just a simple black tank top and denim shorts, exposing my bare legs. I remembered how Rex’s fingers liked to caress my thighs, and the way he guided my legs opened. Just the very thought of it sent electrical impulses through me.
I shook my head, trying to push away the picture perfect moment I had envisioned in my mind. There obviously was one thing that had taunted me the moment I had met Rex. And, it had been something I had constantly thought about. Clearly, I desired for him… all of him.
All of a sudden, I heard the sound of the doorbell echo through the house. Practically prancing towards the front door, I yanked it open.
Rex stood before me, he wore a white short sleeve shirt, with the edges rolled up which was unbuttoned revealing his bare chest. It was then that I noticed how hairy his body was, which somehow caused a tingling sensation between my legs. He had on tight blue jeans and leather boots. Rex’s honey blonde hair was fluffier and fanned out, which I could have only assumed he had washed and combed it out recently.
“Hey,” he said as he stepped towards me and planted a kiss on my lips.
I stepped aside, to allow him into the house before I closed the door behind me. Immediately, I felt the nerves reaching me and my palms began to sweat, and rubbed my hands against my denim shorts.
“Do you want anything to drink?” I asked.
“Sure. A soda, maybe.”
“My mom’s got some beer… or if you prefer the hard stuff?” I wasn’t sure what I was trying to do, perhaps believing that the alcohol would somehow calm my edge.
“Yeah, a beer then. I guess.” Rex responded.
“Alright,” I said as I began to stalk towards the kitchen, I paused and added, “why don’t you make yourself comfortable?” As I gestured towards the couch.
Moments later, I returned back into the living room with the drinks. I watched as Rex was seated on the couch, his legs wide apart as his arm was slouched on the armrest. I stepped towards Rex and handed him his beer, which he immediately took and slid the contents through his lips. I took the seat beside him as we drank in silence.
An awkward silence lingered in the air, and I wasn’t sure why we sat beside each other like we were strangers. Although Rex was only a mere inch away from me, it seemed as though we were oceans apart.
I cleared my throat. “So-” Rex and I both said in unison.
“After you.” He said and gestured to me.
I shook my head. “No, no, what were you gonna say?”
“Nothing.” Rex added.
I released a sigh. “Why is this so awkward?”
Rex exhaled. “I have no idea. You’d think that because we finally have alone time together, it’ll be a relief.”
My lips pressed together, as I contemplated long and hard. “Perhaps, it’s the thrill of possibly getting caught?” I suggested.
Rex cocked his head to the side. “Maybe.” He agreed.
I set down the glass of beer onto the coffee table, as I edged towards Rex. “Alright, let’s put it this way… imagine we’re at the Fotomat kiosk right now… what do you wanna do?” I asked.
Rex’s thick eyebrows averted upwards, as a string of thoughts formed in his mind. “Well… I would do this.” He said, as he closed the gap between us, his hand rested on the side of my face and he planted a kiss on my cheek first before his lips found mine.
Immediately, deepening the kiss, my lips parted and Rex slipped his tongue into mine. Rex’s hands found its way on my waist, as he drew me in closer towards him. I moaned into him, as my fingers entwined in his hair. Slowly, I shifted in my position as my leg swung over Rex’s body as I straddled him. Our tongues continued to dance against each other, as his hands went up and down, then down and up along the sides of my waist. Whilst my hands cupped his face, I lowered my position so that my crotch was against his as I gently rubbed and grinded against him.
Rex released a moan and his jaw clenched, whilst his breaths were in low and heavy sighs. Suddenly, his hands were plastered against my ass as he pulled me in closer towards him, as I continued to grind against him.
The palm of my hand laid flat on Rex’s chest, as my fingers curled against his dark chest hair, the nails dug into his skin leaving faint red marks. My hips continued to move back and forth, then forth and back, as I held in my breath, my grip continued to press down onto Rex’s chest.
Beneath me, I felt the bulge that formed in his pants as I paused, my hand slowly slithered down Rex’s body as I hooked my fingers into the waistband of his jeans.
Rex cleared his throat, I stared at him through my eyelashes and I watched as the expression shifted on his face. “Hmm-”
“Rex?” I asked, as I proceeded with caution.
“There’s something-'' he began, and then paused, his gaze averted mine.
“What?” I asked, as my brows furrowed.
He released a nervous chuckle. “I… um-”
My gaze locked with his, I watched as his eyes drifted away from me. Beads of sweat had begun to form on his forehead, his lips quivered as he tried to release the words from his lips but no matter how hard he tried, the words just did not form.
Suddenly, something clicked inside of my mind. I gasped, “Rex, are you a virgin?”
“Hmm… yeah,” he stuttered.
“Wha- but, wait… how is that possible?” Finally, I managed to utter the words, “you’re such a great guy, though.”
“It isn’t that I’ve never had the chance…” he defended, “I just never met the right girl.” He shrugged.
“Wow… I mean, that’s really sweet.” I responded.
“I’ve never met the right girl… until now.” He said, as his hand reached up to cup the side of my face.
My lips curved upwards as I smiled, allowing Rex’s words to sink in. I drew myself closer to him as our lips pressed against each other, before I retreated and removed myself from him. My hand found his as I pulled him up. “Come on,” I said.
He allowed me to guide him through my house. “Where are we going?”
“To my bedroom.”
We reached the threshold of my bedroom, as I pushed open the door. Immediately, Rex’s hands were all over me as he backed me against the wall. His lips found mine, as my lips parted allowing his tongue to slip inside. Suddenly, my hands reached down towards his ass as I grabbed down onto it, which caused him to jump.
“Woah,” he said and laughed.
“I love this cute small little ass.” I said as my hands continued to squeeze onto Rex’s ass.
Rex chuckled. “I have no ass. I used to get paddled every fucking day at school.”
“No, my poor baby,” I commented, “I guess you wouldn’t like being paddled now, huh?” I asked, and smirked.
“I’d rather be the one holding the paddle.” He said, as he cocked an eyebrow.
Before we knew it, Rex and I were seated on the edge of the bed. His hands rested on my waist as my fingers were entwined in his hair, as we our tongues continued to dance against each other.
It wasn’t at that moment where I suddenly felt a twinge of unease, knowing the road we were heading down. It wasn’t that I hadn’t slept with anyone before, but that act had been nothing but a meaningless encounter, which had ended in a heartbeat. I deeply cared for Rex, and I wanted this moment to last and to mean something.
Suddenly, I drew back as Rex stared at me in confusion. “Hang on.” I said, as I removed myself from the bed.
I opened my wardrobe as I drew out a leopard print chiffon scarf and hung it over the floor lamp in the corner of my room, before I crossed over to the other side and switched off the room light, allowing the faint glow to illuminate the room.
“What are you doing?” Rex asked.
“Just setting the mood,” I responded, as nonchalantly as I possibly could, and added, “I’m gonna put on some music.”
I stood before my dresser, which was covered in various items from cans of hairspray to my make-up, as I pushed them aside and adjusted my beat up record player. Flipping it open, my fingers curled over the records I had left in a cardboard box on the floor, which I still hadn’t properly unpacked. Carefully I placed the vinyl record onto the turntable and slid the stylus into place, moments later the rhythmic guitar sounds from Led Zeppelin’s Since I’ve Been Loving You filled the room, as I spun and stalked towards Rex.
The expression on his face softened and he released a low chuckle. Immediately, we both found our nerves leaving our body, as I straddled him once again. Our fingers curled and entwined into each other. I lowered my mouth onto his, but after several moments his hands suddenly gripped down onto my waist as he turned me, placing my back onto the bed as he climbed on top of me, his beautiful luscious locks hung down as they grazed my skin. Then, his hand reached up and caressed the side of my face. My breathing quickened, as my back arched upwards from his touch. Slowly, his hand draped across my shoulder as his finger hooked underneath the strap of my tank top.
Gently, he slid the strap down, before his fingers trailed across my collarbone, as he did the same with the other strap. He lowered his head down onto my neck as he left a trail of kisses along the side of my neck. I moaned into him, as my fingers reached up into his hair pushing it behind his ear. His mouth found my lips one last time, before he slowly slithered down my body, leaving a trail of kisses along the way, as he paused by my hips. He peered up at me through his eyelashes, before his fingers lingered on the button on my denim shorts, he carefully unbuttoned them, sliding down the zipper.
I moaned. “Do it.” I breathed.
He softly pulled away my denim shorts and cast them aside, leaving me in my silky black panties. Suddenly, I was reminded of the time we had spent in the diner, the way his fingers pleasured me, which immediately sent electrical impulses coursing through my veins.
Then, he removed my panties and suddenly I felt very exposed. His hands planted against my thighs as he guided my legs apart, he stared at me through his eyelashes again before he lowered his mouth down onto me. His warm tongue grazed on my entrance, my back arched upwards and my hand gripped down onto the corner of my pillow, as I felt his tongue continue to go in up and down, then circular motions. I tried to sit up, as my fingers found its way knotted in his hair as I grabbed a fistful and tugged onto it.
Rex’s hands gripped down on the side of my thighs harder as his tongue continued to glide on my entrance. Moans continued to be released from between my lips, as my thighs gently squished down onto his head, just when I was about to reach pleasure, Rex paused as he pulled away. He wiped the corners of his mouth with his fingertips as he hovered over me.
My hands immediately went towards his jeans as I unbuttoned them. Once he had removed his pants and shirt, casting them aside, I hurriedly took off my tank top. My hand slithered down his hairy body as my mouth watered as my finger trailed downwards and cupped his bulge.
His body planted against mine as gently lowered me down onto the bed, just then he shifted as he reached to grab his pants which had been thrown onto the ground.
“Wait a minute.” He said, as he fumbled in the pockets of his pants and drew out a condom.
“You came prepared, I see.” I smirked.
He shrugged and smiled.
I sat up as my fingers hooked into the waistband of his briefs and pulled them down, as Rex slipped out of them, before he tore the wrapper of the condom. Once he had placed it onto himself, he knelt before me as I spread my legs apart for him. Slowly, I felt him entering me and I grabbed down onto the side of my pillow.
At first, Rex thrusted in me slowly, until he began to move faster and faster. He grunted and groaned, as his hands gripped onto the wooden headboard of my bed for support. His thrusts grew harder and harder into me, as I felt the headboard continuously slammed against the wall. No doubt that would leave a dent.
“Rex.” I called his name, as he too breathlessly called mine.
His hands then gripped onto the sides of my waist, as I continued to feel him inside of me. Rex lowered his body as his locks of hair tickled my face, I wrapped my arms around his neck as I pulled him closer down towards me, as he carried on thrusting. I moaned into him, as he grunted, then moments later we both reached euphoria.
Rex released a sigh, as his chest heaved and his breathing quickened. He pulled away and slumped down onto the bed beside me. His body was covered in sweat and his hair had matted against the sweat.
We laid there for what felt like an eternity, as I shifted onto my side, my fingers danced along his hairy chest.
“I hope that I wasn’t too rusty for my first time.” He commented.
I leaned in and planted a kiss on his lips. “It was perfect.”
A smile flashed across Rex’s face as he wrapped his arm around me. The vinyl record had long ago stopped playing, and we enjoyed the silence together.
In the distance, I heard the faint sounds of shuffling. My body tensed as my gaze drifted around the room.
“Do you hear that?” I asked.
“What?” Rex responded in confusion.
Suddenly, I sat up as my eyes narrowed. “Seriously,” I mentioned, as I grabbed the duvet sheet and wrapped it around my body.
The sound of the shuffling continued, followed by several thumps. I dropped the duvet and slipped back on my tank top and denim shorts.
Rex removed himself from my bed as he put on his jeans, and shoes, not bothering to put on a shirt.
“Yeah, now I hear something.” Rex added.
I stalked out of the bedroom as I followed the sound which emerged from beyond the hallways. The moment I stepped into the living room, my heart lurched forward. In that second, I didn’t even have a moment to react and stop what was about to unfold. As I watched Scarlet push open my front door.
“What are you doing?” I asked, the sheer panic had already consumed me.
“You said your mom was outta town, I thought we could have a party.” Scarlet explained, then added, “I know you leave a spare key under your mat. I wanted to surprise you.”
“Hey, what’s going on?” Rex asked as he emerged.
Scarlet’s mouth opened, as her gaze jumped between Rex and myself. “Oh my god!” Scarlet exclaimed.
Just then, I watched as Tom, Rob and finally Billy had entered my house. Trapped like rats, we had nowhere to run, as Billy’s eyes narrowed at the very sight of Rex and I. His jaw clenched and his fists curled into a ball. “What the fuck?” Billy hissed.
And just like that, the secret had been revealed. The sanctuary and sliver of paradise that I had created with Rex had been shattered.

Hey congratulations on 1900 followers that's amazing! 😄 Id love to hear your commentary on Sour, its such a great fic I love the whole tense dynamic between them at the start, the whole thing is super hot 😍 and the ending is so cute ! Thanks💕
Hi dear! Thank you so much and I’m glad you liked Sour! It was so much fun to write and I really miss it. I wrote kind of a lot and a little bit about my inspiration and each chapter! I’m so happy you asked me about Sour because I miss talking about it!
I can’t add a read more because I’m on mobile but I hope you enjoy my little commentary!
Background: so I got inspired to write this from Lou Reed’a song Hanging Around. I really liked the lyrics and wanted to base my story off it but when I began writing I went an entirely different direction. I still kept the you know... Arrogant and full of herself reader but I at first wanted it to be an all girl punk band traveling with queen on tour but then that idea got to be too much so then I did a female in a mostly male punk group. I chose bass because its a well known fact that girls that play bass are hot. I chose a punk band because T. Rex toured with a punk group to try and unite the two genres and audiences together.
Chapter 1.
OH GOD this is perhaps my second favorite chapter. I came up with the chapter title after never naming my chapters and kind of ran with it. I was pretty feral at this time and was very touch deprives so I got all my aggressions out here. I also had reader drink my favorite combination of drinks called a boiler maker which is a shot of whisky chased with a full beer and made her experience that night based off of one of my own I had earlier this year (that’s a story for another time). It’s just HOT AND FERAL AND I LOVE THE HATRED BETWEEN THE TWO
Chapter 2.
So at this point I knew I wanted it to have long ass chapters and to be shorter because I tend to dwindle off when writing long fics (*ahem* see FSC) so for this chapter I picked up the pace. I wanted something feral and something soft which hopefully I made. I wanted roger to be slightly touch deprived and needy for physical contact due to his divorce and other life issues which is why I made the s*x scene between the two so soft but then added the Intense one towards the end. This is also where we see the two of them beginning to develop feelings. The arguing during the recording in the beginning was inspired by all of the Beatles out takes i would watch on YouTube.
Chapter 3.
This was my all time favorite chapter and low key the hardest to write for some reason. I loved the Rogerina part I added in at the beginning because it was entirely self indulgent. I love the part where reader tries to leave and Roger stops her. This is really a turning point for the whole story because it becomes slightly more domestic and GAH the s*x scene between the two of them is just so FBDKFJSJ I also wanted to add more to her bandmates. I really enjoyed them as side characters and thought they added some good comedy to the overall story line
Chapter 4.
I also really liked this chapter. Here reader and roger are in a somewhat established relationship. It’s new and they set up boundaries like when they are on tour. I like having jealous!reader and drunk!reader make an appearance. I feel like they are both big babies and I love it. I also liked the teasing through the whole chapter and then the reversed roles and slight revenge reader gets. I honestly didn’t like the ending part but I couldn’t think of anything else and the story was getting too good. They needed something to disrupt their lives so I made reader have a pregnancy scare. It’s kind of a cop out but fics with cheating hurt my feelings too much.
Chapter 5.
So I DIDNT want reader to be pregnant because I thought that would literally ruin her whole career(my own personal opinion) but I like that roger is supportive and not mean about it. I like the relationship I have the band with their manager. I really wanted Hank to be a total nerd and square that managed a group of young rambunctious punk rockers. The interview scene is actually one of my favorites and inspired by the Beatles interviews I have watched where they are sassy and don’t give a fuck. I also wanted to make dad!roger make an appearance because I think it’s soft and sweet but I realized I am bad at writing children I’m honestly not satisfied with the ending very much but I could t think if anything else to right. I had a morning after written but I hated it and knew I wanted the series to end with this chapter and if I didn’t end it where I did the chapter would have been endless boring nonsense.
Overall I thought the whole story was fun to write and I would love to write more where roger and reader are older but I would have no idea where to start haha.

We'll Meet Again (Part 1)
Thank you @livingbreathingrocknroll for the idea!
Rex Brown x Female Reader
Summary: Set in 1983, you (female reader) have just moved to town, and have joined a band, but there's another rising band in town.... Pantera, and it so happens that the bands have a longstanding feud against each other. The other problem is you happen to have fallen for Pantera's bass player.

Summer of 1983
I pulled up at the Fotomat kiosk, the little yellow hut gleamed beneath the sun as I averted my gaze. I yanked on the hand brake and shifted my body to face my side of the car window.
I heard the muffled sounds of music that seeped through the booth, as I peered through the window.
“Hello?” I called out.
Moments later, I heard the sounds of shuffling before a scrawny guy emerged. He had medium length light brown hair that was layered and was slightly teased with hairspray on the top, and wore a light blue sleeveless vest, exposing his slender yet toned arms. He had chocolate brown puppy dog eyes which I found myself being lost in his eyes.
“Hi,” he said.
Suddenly, I found myself shifting back into reality. “Hi,”
“What can I get you?” He asked.
My brows furrowed. “What? I’m here to drop off some film.”
He seemed taken aback. “Oh, of course.”
My arm extended as I dropped off the roll into his hand, our fingers caressed as I did so, sending electrical pulses through my veins. I flinched, and I felt my cheeks turning red.
He fumbled with the stack of tickets as he scribbled something across it, then he handed it to me. “That’ll be two dollars.”
I handed him the cash, and our gaze connected with each other. “I’ve not seen you around?” He inquired.
“I moved here two weeks ago.” I responded.
He cocked his head to the side, as I noticed his gaze traveled over my shoulder. “You play bass?” He asked.
I spun around, I had completely forgotten my bass was in the passenger seat. “Yeah,” I said.
“Me too.”
“Oh cool,” I answered, as I felt like a complete idiot for not trying harder to continue this conversation.
“Hey, listen would you like to-” he began, but then paused.
Suddenly, I jumped as the sound of the car horn roared behind me. I turned my head back to see a car had pulled up almost an inch away from me. A man bellowed from the top of his lungs. “Come on man!” As the car continued to drive closer towards mine.
It had been instinct and fear, that I had immediately turned the ignition and drove away, as I cursed beneath my breath that my time was cut short with the cute bass player from the Fotomat kiosk.
—-
The sounds rippled through the amplifiers, so deafening that it almost shattered my eardrums. I released the breath that I hadn’t realized I had held, as I opened my eyes and my senses returned back to me.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t playing the stadium at Madison Square Garden, but I was in some dank basement. The walls were covered in bootleg posters we had printed from the Xerox place, empty beer bottles and pizza boxes scattered in every inch of the corner, almost making it impossible to walk through, there was also a stench of body odor that lingered and hung in the air, which caused my nose to twitch. Then, our equipment which we had scoured from garage sales, fixing them up as best as we could.
“Whoo!” Billy, our lead singer of the band screamed. “That was heavy dude.” He commented.
Rob, our drummer, wiped the sweat away from his forehead and exclaimed. “Totally!”
“Don’t you think the bridge needs some work?” I asked.
Rob scoffed. “Who cares. Practice is done, let’s all go to the Pit.”
“She’s right,” Billy agreed, “if we want to beat Pantera then we have to perfect our songs.”
“Dude, what’s your problem with Pantera?” Tom, our guitar player added.
“Who is Pantera?” I asked.
“They’re one of the rising hottest bands in town.” Rob answered.
Billy’s nostrils flared. “There’s only room for one band in this town, and that is us!”
“We’ll be fine dude, we’ve got something they don’t.” Rob said.
“And what’s that?” Tom asked.
Rob gestured to me. “A hot girl.”
I raised my middle finger at him. “Fuck you, asshole. I’m more than that.”
Sometimes, Rob had a tendency to make me want to kick him in the nuts. But then, I would swallow my anger because deep down he was actually a total sweetheart, and also his cousin was one of my friends. After having moved into this town two weeks ago, and not knowing a single soul. One afternoon, I met Scarlet, Rob’s cousin, at the record store. We both immediately hit it off, and she had hooked me up with joining the band.
Rob smirked and waved his hand nonchalantly. “Yeah, yeah.”
“You do give us an edge.” Tom added.
“Are we going to the Pit or what?” Rob demanded.
Billy sighed. “Fine, let’s go to the Pit.”
The Pit wasn’t exactly where I wanted to be on a Saturday night. Whilst the name of it was intriguing, the reality of it was sad.
After all there wasn’t much for nineteen year olds to do. The Pit was located in an abandoned bowling alley on the outskirts of town, with a huge parking lot that had been sealed shut. The winning factor about it was it was in a remote part of town, far away from society where we were free to do as we wished. Several idiots had managed to break in, and anointing it to be the hangout spot of youth delinquency.
Rob pulled up a block away from the Pit, already a cluster of cars had formed and surrounded the area. Muffled beats traveled throughout the air and a blaze of orange lights illuminated from the center.
“This should be fun.” Rob said, and removed himself from the car.
We all followed in Rob’s heels as we drew nearer and nearer towards the Pit. From a distance, I saw the sea of bodies that were scattered around the parking lot. Music blasted from the boombox which was set up in the corner, and the sounds of overlapped chatter echoed.
Immediately, Billy spat in disgust. “Fuck, those assholes from Pantera are here!” He fumed. “I’m leaving!”
“Dude, chill.” Rob said, and added, “just ignore them.”
My gaze drifted over towards the crowd, and my heart lurched as I recognized the familiar face. The guy from the Fotomat kiosk.
Suddenly, our gazes locked and he smiled. I watched as his lips moved, he had said something inaudible to his group of friends before he stalked his way over towards me.
“Hi again,” he said.
My cheeks flushed. “Hi.” I said, from my peripheral vision I could sense the death glares that Billy was giving me.
“I’m glad I ran into you,” he said and took a sip from his red plastic cup. “I’m Rex. The bassist in Pantera.”
“Oh,” I said, as I then proceeded to murmur my name.
“Can I get you a drink?”
“Hmm, sure,” I said.
He spun around and I followed him on his heels. We snaked our way through the crowd as he paused before an ice box. He flipped the lid open and laughed nervously.
“There’s not a lot of options,” he said.
I shrugged. “I’m good with beer.”
He reached down and grabbed a can of beer then handed it to me. I opened up the can and took a swig. The ice from the icebox had more or less melted, and the beer was now lukewarm, which wasn’t the most appealing. However, I wasn’t all that fussed.
“So where did you move from?” He asked.
“California.”
“No shit, nice-” he responded, then added, “what are you doing here?” He laughed.
I smirked. “I know right… I moved out here to be with my mom.”
“Fair enough.” He responded.
“So you say you’re in a band… Pantera? Was it?” I asked.
Rex nodded. “Yeah, we’re actually releasing our first album next week and we’re playing at the Basement and then a party afterwards, you should come.”
“Oh, that’ll be cool. What sorta sound do you guys make?”
“We’re very into KISS and Van Halen.”
I nodded. “I saw KISS in Fresno ‘79. Yeah, I caught Ace Frehley’s guitar pick, and made it into a necklace.” I explained, as I pulled the necklace which was tucked underneath my shirt.
Rex closed the gap between us as he lowered his head towards my neck. “Rad.” He responded.
Just then, I felt a presence looming over me, as Billy cleared his throat. “Hello Rex.” He said in a threatening tone.
Rex scoffed. “Billy.”
“I see you’ve met our bass player.” Billy challenged.
Rex’s eyes widened. “Oh.”
“Yes, oh-” Billy continued, “your little buddies better watch out.”
Rex scoffed. “Dude, you need to chill-”
“I’m not gonna chill.” Billy hissed. “We’re gonna crush you at the Basement.”
“Whatever dude, we’re releasing our first record.”
Billy’s eyes widened. “Of course, it’ll be easy to release a record when your buddy’s dad owns a studio.”
“Woah man, you better watch it!” A guy with huge wavy hair stepped besides Rex.
Rex spun around and placed his hand on the guy’s arm. “It’s alright Dime.” He murmured.
Suddenly, I felt something on my arm, as I turned around and watched as Tom pulled me aside. “You don’t wanna get in the middle of this.” He said.
“What is their problem?” I asked.
Tom sighed. “It’s a long dumb story. Basically, Rex runs a little side project of his own at the Fotomat kiosk he works out. He sells drugs in the Fotomat roll bags,” Tom explained.
Something clicked in my mind from my encounter with Rex earlier at the Fotomat kiosk. He must have assumed I was there to buy drugs off of him.
“Anyway, I guess Billy has a big mouth and was going around town telling everyone about it,” Tom continued, “so Rex just charged him like double. And, I don’t know, I guess this started this whole feud.”
“Really?” I asked, as my brows furrowed.
“I don’t know, man.” Tom sighed, as he took a huge gulp of his beer and burped.
—--
A couple of days had passed, and my mind had utterly been consumed by Rex. After the incident at the Pit, I had contemplated whether I wanted to even go near the Pantera show and party.
I turned around and lay on my back, my gaze fixated on the ceiling. Suddenly, I felt something collide against my face.
“What the fuck?” I yelled, as I grabbed the teddy bear and flung it aside.
Scarlet was seated on the ground, with several magazines sprawled before her. “Hello, I’m talking here.”
I shook my head. “Sorry, my mind is just somewhere else.”
“I can see that. What were you thinking about?”
I shifted in my position and faced Scarlet. “Do you know anything about the band’s feud with Pantera? Tom told me that it’s because Rex charged Billy a lot of money for the drugs and he wasn’t happy about it.”
Scarlet scoffed. “I wish that’s all it was.”
“So there’s more?”
“Way more,” Scarlet began, “one night Rex made out with a girl at some party, and then that same girl made out with Billy. He wasn’t too happy about it.”
I felt a weird sensation coursing through me after hearing the story. “I mean, these things happen. Seems a bit dramatic to start a full on feud about it.”
“I think there’s more, but it’s hard to tell what are rumors or not,” Scarlet explained, and then added, “why do you wanna know?”
I shrugged. “I met Rex at the Pit a few nights ago… I don’t know, I just thought he was cute and he invited me to Pantera’s party.”
Scarlet’s brows furrowed. “You think Rex is cute? That scrawny guy?”
“Yeah,” I said and averted my gaze from Scarlet.
“He’s got those huge puppy dog eyes, I guess… but no, I like my men rugged and burly… like Tom Selleck.” Scarlet lusted, as she drooled.
“Anyway,” I said and changed the subject. “I’m just thinking if I should go.”
Suddenly, Scarlet shot up and stalked towards me. “Don’t do it,” she warned, “I’m serious… your bands have always been at war with each other.”
“Oh come on, stop being so dramatic.” I said, and waved my hand.
“Seriously,” she urged and said my name sternly, “if you wanna be in the band, stay away from Rex.”
I rolled my eyes. “It can’t be that bad.”
Scarlet shook her head. “This band is going places, I’ve heard from Rob that there’s talks about an executive from Mercury who is interested in you guys.”
“Oh my god, Mercury!” I exclaimed.
Scarlet nodded. “Just don’t piss Billy off by doing something stupid, otherwise he’s gonna kick ya out.”
“Fine, I won’t.”
“Seriously, you and Rex. It’s fucking Romeo & Juliet, alright. It’s forbidden.”
—-
My eyes fixated on the calendar, it was the day of Pantera’s album release party. Multiple scenarios flashed in my mind.
I hadn’t seen Rex since the night at the Pit, and it was driving me insane. Everytime I close my eyes, I would vision him. The way he smiled, and the way our skin caressed when we touched.
But then, I didn’t want to jeopardize my position in the band. I had been in a lot of shitty bands during my time in California, and I just know that this is it.
As I watched the hours pass by on the clock before me, I suddenly found myself in my closet. I put on a beat up KISS T-shirt, paired with leather pants I had bought for ten goddamn bucks at a thrift store in L.A., then a chunky leather belt and black platform shoes. During those several moments, it was as if I had been possessed, I knew what I was doing, but I couldn’t stop myself.
After I had gotten ready, I got into my car and drove to the Basement towards Pantera’s show. I still had trouble navigating my way around town, the last time I had gone to the Basement, Rob had driven all of us. It was also the very first time I had performed with the band, and my mind was beyond somewhere else, that I had downed several cans of beer before the show, and my memories of that night were both fuzzy and a haze. For all it was worth, that night could have been a figment of my imagination.
The map was sprawled on the passenger seat beside me, earlier when I had left the house. I had quickly drawn out the route from my home to the Basement, darkening the lines on the map in pencil. Every now and then, I glanced down at the map and then back to the road again, as I continued down onto Route 75.
I peered down at my wrist watch, time was certainly against me, as my foot pressed down on to the gas pedal, and the engine roared.
Finally, I took a right turn down onto Park Lane and carried on straight, until the familiarity of the road came flooding back to me. In the distance, I managed to make out the Basement on the right hand side.
I swerved into a spot just several paces before the club, and switched off the ignition. My hands trembled, and I felt beads of sweat pouring down from my forehead. I wiped it away with the back of my hand, and suddenly urged for a cigarette.
I closed my eyes and exhaled, as I tried to repress the nerves.
Once I had brought myself together, I removed myself from the car. Just when I was about to stalk towards the club, I heard a voice calling out my name.
I spun around and flinched, as I watched Billy and Tom before me. “What are you doing here?” Billy asked. “Are you going to Pantera’s show?” His brows furrowed.
“Hmm,” I said nervously, then shook my head, “no- I’m just meeting a friend nearby, she’s from back home and wanted to check out the sites.”
“Here? There’s nothing around.” Tom questioned.
I nodded and shrugged. “I don’t know why,” I lied.
“Right?” Billy responded with a hint of skepticism in his voice.
“What are you guys doing here?” As I immediately found a solution to change the subject.
“We’ve just been hitting record store to record store, cause Billy wants to get the ABBA album-” Tom said and then paused, as Billy shot him a cold glare. Tom cleared his throat, “I mean Black Sabbath album.”
“Uh huh,” I said as I raised an eyebrow.
Abruptly, Billy shook his head. “Look, I’m not trying to be an asshole, but Pantera is bad news okay.”
“What happened?” I asked, proceeding with caution.
Billy’s jaw clenched. “I don’t want to get into it now,” he hissed, “you’re a good bass player, and I think with you in the band we actually have a shot of getting signed. I would hate for that to not work out because of someone.” He said.
I stared into Billy’s eyes. The venomous glare sent shivers down my spine. “You have my word Billy.” I responded.
“Good.” He answered, his expression softened. “Well, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow night for practice. And you’re right that the bridge in that song is a little off- we should work on it more.”
“Totally.” I agreed.
“See ya tomorrow.” Billy said.
“Later.” Tom added.
I watched as they stalked away from me. My gaze drifted over towards the Basement, my heart pounded against my chest. Conflicted thoughts bounced through my mind, as I contemplated my next moves.
Perhaps, I would come clean to Rex that I wasn’t to see him.
I swallowed the fear, and stepped towards the club. As I descended down into the Basement, a thick layer of smoke clouded above me. My eyes widened at the amount of people that crowded in the club. The lights were dimmed low, with neon red gleaming from the stage area. The sound of heavy riffs and drumbeats emerged from the speakers but the sound was drained out by the overlapping sounds of chatter that echoed through the club.
Suddenly, a wave of dread washed over me, and realization had struck me what a terrible idea this was. I couldn’t risk this for a guy.
Abruptly, I spun as I tried to bolt from the club,  only to have collided into something, or someone. It took me several moments to realize the person who stood before me.
Rex.
“Hey, you came.” He said and flashed a smile.
“Actually… I’ve gotta go-” I said, and stepped forward.
“Woah, wait,” he urged and grabbed my arm gently, “is everything alright?”
“Yeah,” I said nervously, “it’s just-” I paused, unable to find the words.
“Is this because of Billy?”
“No… I mean, yeah… kinda-” I stuttered. “Look, whatever went on between you and Billy, I don’t give a shit about that. But, I don’t want to jeopardize my position in the band. It means a lot to me.”
“Totally,” he answered, and then added, “but just because you’re in a different band doesn’t mean that you and I-”
I raised my finger in the air. “Don’t say it Rex,” I warned, “I gotta go.” I sighed.
“No wait,” Rex protested. “Let’s just talk about it, please?” He asked.
I gazed into his chocolate brown eyes, as I acknowledged the urgency behind them. “Alright.” I admitted.
He pulled me aside as we stepped inside a phone booth in the corner of the club. The booth was covered with stickers of bands, the stench of beer lingered. There were moments, when I didn’t necessarily want to fixate on what could have possibly gone on in here. Suddenly, I was very aware of the fact that our bodies were pressed against each other.
Rex closed the sliding door, and we were thrown into our own little private paradise.
“I don’t know what you’ve heard from Billy-” He began.
“Rex, you don’t have to tell me.”
Rex shook his head. “No, no, it’s fine… I was drunk, and I hit Billy’s car.”
My brows furrowed. “Oh,”
“Yeah, he was pretty pissed about it but I paid him for the damages and I thought we were good, but I guess not.” Rex said and shrugged.
I stared at him bewildered, trying to fit the different stories and the pieces together. “Well, I’m new in town and I just don’t really know anyone. Billy is a nutcase sometimes, but he and the guys have been good to me, and I don’t want to fuck that up.”
“And I get it, but I like you”
I sighed, “I like you too, Rex-” he opened his mouth, but then I interrupted him, “but it’s not going to work out between us.”
He stepped closer towards me, even with the platform boots he still managed to tower over me. I felt his hot breath caress my skin. “You know that day at the Fotomat when you handed me the film and our hands touched,” he said, his voice low and sweet like honey.
Suddenly, I felt Rex’s fingers graze along my hand. My jaw clenched and my heartbeat quickened. His touch continued, as his fingers draped along my arm.
I exhaled, and closed my eyes for a couple of seconds, as I felt Rex’s touch. My eyelids slowly opened, as I saw Rex’s face just a mere inch away from me. My gaze drifted over his lips, as I chewed on my lower lip.
It didn’t take long before the temptation had overshadowed and possessed me.
“Oh fuck it,” I heaved, as I grabbed Rex by the neck and our lips crashed onto each other’s. At first, I managed to taste the faint linger of cigarettes and beer, laced upon his lips.
Immediately, his hands rested upon my waist as he pulled me closer towards him. He deepened the kiss, and my lips parted allowing his tongue to slip inside. He pressed his body against mine, and pushed me into the wall. Then, he removed both of his hands away from my body as he pressed his palms against the wall, framing me inside, knowing that in this current state, I was all his.
My hands reached up towards his face, as my fingers edged along his jawline, feeling the short stubble framing his jawline and chin, I could only assume he was trying to grow a goatee.
Then, with one of his hands, he slowly caressed the side of my body and rested it on my ass grabbing down onto it, hard. Whilst the other reached into my hair. His fingers knotted in it as he gently tugged onto it.
Our tongues continued to join, as I moaned into Rex, which was enough for him to feel the urgency, as he pressed himself down onto me, deepening the kiss.
Finally, I broke away. I heaved, as I tried to catch my breath. Sparks remained in my chest, as I somehow felt slightly light-headed and tried to recollect what had just happened.
“Oh my god,” I blushed, knowing that my cheeks were now flustered.
His gaze locked with mine. In the distance, we overheard the thunderous roar of the crowd which chanted for Pantera.
“That’s my cue, baby.” He said, and smirked.
We stepped outside from the phone booth, and a wave of disappointment washed over me. Rex was my poison, and I was addicted.

We'll Meet Again (Part 9)
Rex Brown x Female Reader
Summary: With time against you and Rex, will he be able to stop you from boarding the plane and leaving for good?
Age rating: 13+ *No warnings*
Word count: 1,018
*A shorter chapter just because I wanted the story to be an even 10 chapters lol (I'm weird like that)*
Tumblr media
I slammed down onto the play button on my cassette player, as I allowed the sounds of Jimmy Page’s guitar to fill my ears, as I threw my head back and closed my eyes. But it didn’t take long before restlessness found me again and I sat forward in my seat.
My gaze fixated on the bodies that moved around me through the airport, as I watched people come and go before me, as they were nothing but blurs. The voice on the PA system drained out the music, as I frustratedly amped up the volume.
I shifted in my position, and stared down at my hand, Rex’s promise ring glistened beneath the fluorescent light. Suddenly an ache formed inside my chest at the thought of him.
In the distance, I managed to catch the final words from the PA system, as I ripped my headphones away from me, as I recognized the flight number. I then stared down at my wristwatch, knowing that it was time for me to board my plane.
Frozen in my stance, my feet were unable to move, knowing that the moment I stood up would mean that I’d have to leave this place for good.
“This is the final call for flight DL 662.” The voice bellowed from the speakers.
I closed my eyes for a mere second, before I exhaled and pushed myself onto standing. Grabbing my bag I shoved my walkman into the compartment before I flung the strap over my shoulder and stalked towards the counter.
Just when I approached the counter and was about to place down my ticket, I heard a voice call my name. My brows furrowed, as my ear twitched. There it came again.
Abruptly, I spun around, as my eyes drifted over the crowd of people that stood in my way. I stepped forward, as I followed the sound of the voice. Finally, the familiar face came into view, as I gasped.
“Rex?” I said, as I hurriedly moved forward.
It didn’t take long before we managed to push our way through to each other, my heart pounded against my chest. The fear that this may be a figment of my imagination had crossed my mind. Yet, the longer I stared at him, I knew that this was reality.
My gaze then fixated on the person behind him, as I asked in utter confusion, “Billy?” Rex embraced me as I wrapped my arms around him. “Oh my god, what are you guys doing here?” I asked, as I drew away from Rex. “Why are you guys together?”
Rex and Billy stared at each other before they returned their attention to me. “It’s a long story,” Rex began.
“We cleared shit up… it’s all good now.” Billy added.
“Oh,” was all I was able to say.
“You can’t go.” Rex pleaded.
I shook my head, as I averted my gaze from him. “Rex, I-” I paused.
“No, but it’s fine now-” Rex exclaimed.
“You can come back to the band.” Billy said.
My eyes widened. “What? Seriously?”
“You’re the best bass player in town.” Billy explained, as Rex cleared his throat. “You’re good too.” He added.
“I can’t believe this-” I exclaimed, as I ran my fingers through my hair.
“It’s fine right? You’re in the band, you didn’t break the deal.” Rex explained.
“Yeah…” I said. “And you’re sure, Billy?”
“Dude, I’m parked in a meter. If I was trying to fuck with you, did you think I’d drive all this way.” Billy bellowed.
“Well, serves you right-” Rex challenged, “this whole feud was a misunderstanding.”
I swallowed the temptation to ponder what the reason behind the feud had been, as I tried to wrap my head around what had unfolded before me.
“Alright, well, let’s wrap this up guys.” Billy muttered.
“So?” Rex asked me.
My gaze locked with his as I stared into his beautiful dark eyes. I raised the ticket up and tore it into pieces. “My mom’s gonna be pissed, but it’s really not up to her.” I commented.
A smile flashed across Rex’s face as he cupped my face and drew me close towards him. Our lips collided against each other.
“Ugh, I’m gonna be in the car.” Billy groaned in the distance.
---------
Anticipation lingered in my veins the moment Billy and Rex had dropped me off at my house. Quietly, I stalked into the house, an eerie silence blanketed the surroundings, as the beaming sunlight had seeped in through the windows.
I placed my bags by the side of the door as I closed it behind me.
“Mom.” I called out.
I followed the silence, as I stepped further into the house. To my dismay, I found my mother sitting at the dining table. She turned to face me, as I saw the smudged mascara that had fallen beneath her eyes.
“Before you say anything, I can explain.” I began.
Suddenly, my mother shot up onto her feet as she stepped towards me and embraced me. Taken aback, I stumbled backwards as I fought to find my balance.
“I’m so sorry.” She cried into my shoulder, and drew back. “I shouldn’t have done that.”
“I mean… I did make a deal with you and dad-”
My mom exhaled as she wiped the tears away from her face. “I projected myself onto you,” she explained, “I was afraid that you were making the same mistake that I had made.”
My brows furrowed, as I tried to piece together what she was trying to tell me. “What do you mean?”
“You know I tried to be an actress when I was your age.”
“Really?” I questioned.
“Your grams told me that it would never work out, and that I should give up,” my mom explained, and shook her head, “but it’s not fair on you.”
“I didn’t know that.”
“And Rex… perhaps I misjudged him.”
“He’s really special to me, mom.” I said, as I stared down at the ring on my finger again.
My mom’s gaze followed mine as she eyed the ring. She smiled. “I can see that.”

We'll Meet Again (Part 8)
Rex Brown x Female Reader
Summary: With your forced departure to leave town, there's only so little you can do... unless a miracle were to happen?
Age rating: 15+ *Mention of drugs and death*
Word count: 2,656
Tumblr media
I continued to thrash in my bed, the words seared into my mind. My eyes stung from the amount of crying I had done, as I tried to think of ways to get out of this.
Deep down, I knew that I had sealed my own fate. Knew that I had fucked up, when I had gotten kicked out of the band.
My gaze drifted over to the clock on my nightstand, somehow I prayed for a miracle to happen. It was then that I knew I wasn’t going to go down without a fight.
Abruptly, I removed myself from my bed, and put on a Led Zeppelin T-shirt paired with jeans. I shoved on my black converses before I headed out, quietly slipping through the door as I made my way to my car.
Moments later, I found myself outside of Billy’s house. The sun had begun to rise, and there was a layer of a faint orange glow that infused with the milky clouds. I stalked out of my car, as I hurriedly stepped towards Billy’s house, my fist connected with the front door, as I violently increased my speed.
Almost immediately, I heard the sounds of thumping footsteps, followed by the front door being yanked open.
“What the fuck is your problem?” Billy hissed, as he rubbed his eyes. His vision fixated on me, as his expression shifted. “What are you doing here?”
“Billy, I need to talk to you.”
“It’s fucking six in the morning,” he cursed, “we can talk later.” He said as he was about to shut the door in my face.
I stepped forward as I slammed my hand onto the door. “No, we need to talk now,” I ordered, “Billy… Look, I’m sorry about everything, but I really want to be back in the band. You don’t understand how important this is to me.”
“You’re fucking kidding,” he muttered beneath his breath.
“I made a deal with my parents, I didn’t have to go to college as long as I was in a band and it was going somewhere,” I panted, “my mom’s sending me back to California.”
Billy pushed the hair away from his face. “Please bore someone else with your story.”
“Are you seriously telling me that you’re willing to let me go, just because of this silly feud you have with Pantera… with Rex.”
“Yes!” Billy retorted, “and I told you what would happen if you were to go with them, didn’t I?”
“Billy, please… just give me another chance.” I pleaded. “Don’t you think, you ought to push this shit aside with you and Rex?”
Billy’s gaze met with mine, as I stared into him. My lips quivered, and my palms were matted with sweat as I awaited for the words to be released between Billy’s lips.
“You dug your own grave.” He said, before he closed the door in my face.
Billy’s words rang in my mind, as I found myself driving around aimlessly. With time against me, I wasn’t sure what I could possibly do except to accept my impending doom.
I sighed, as I made the decision to drive towards the Abbott house, which didn’t take me long to reach.
I pulled up by the sidewalk, as I watched the house from afar. Empty beer cans and thrash were scattered across the front lawn. The bittersweet memories lingered, as I thought about how perfect everything had been the last time I was here.
With a moment’s hesitation, I finally conjured up the bravery to remove myself from the car, as I trudged towards the front door. My fist connected with the wooden door. Seconds later, the door swung wide open and I was greeted by Dime. He wore a ripped up black T-shirt with his checkered blue boxer shorts, as he yawned and rubbed his eyes.
“Hey, it’s early.” He muttered.
“I know… I’m sorry Dime, but I really gotta talk to Rex.” I said.
“Yeah sure.” He answered, as he stepped towards the side allowing me to enter the house. “He’s just in the living room.” Dime added.
“Thanks.”
Quietly, I stepped towards the living room, where it looked as if a tornado had hit the place. The framed photographs on the wall were hanging loose, with heaps of toilet paper draped across the ceiling fan and a mountainful of beer cans laid in the corner of the room.
I watched as Rex slept on the couch, an orange woven throw draped across his body. He seemed so peaceful in his sleep, that I almost felt guilty for waking him.
I stepped towards Rex and knelt down beside him, as I gently laid my hand on his shoulder. “Rex.” I whispered.
He groaned.
“Rex.” I called again, and added, “it’s me.” As I shook him.
Rex’s eyelids fluttered, as he shifted in his position. His vision fixated on me. “Hey.” He asked, his voice hoarse and croaked. Rex sat up as he pushed the hair out of his eyes. “What time is it?”
“It’s early, I’m sorry, but I really gotta talk to you.” I said, as Rex’s gaze locked with mine, somehow he almost knew that something was wrong.
“What’s going on?”
Suddenly, I was conscious of the fact that Dime was in earshot, as I spun and watched him stumble back upstairs.
Rex shifted on the couch as I took the seat beside him. He groaned and rubbed his eyes, then turned to me.
My chest felt heavy as I swallowed the lump in my throat. “There’s something I have to tell you,” I began, as I watched Rex listen to me intently, “you know about the deal I made with my parents about college?”
Rex nodded. “Yeah, you wouldn’t have to go as long as you were working on the band.”
“Only now that I’ve been kicked out, I’ve not been able to hold up my end of the deal.”
Rex’s brows furrowed, as he slowly began to catch where I was going with this. “Woah, what are you trying to say?”
I exhaled, as I fought and held back the tears. “My mom’s making me go back to California.”
Rex closed his eyes and huffed. “You can’t- no, oh shit, this is all my fault isn’t it?”
“No it’s not Rex.” I said, as I reached out and held his hands.
“It is. I’m the reason Billy kicked you out,” he said, and added, “let me talk to him-”
I shook my head. “I tried this morning. He’s not changing his mind.”
“Well, then, there’s other bands-”
“I don’t think there’s any way around this. My mom’s already bought my flight ticket.”
“This is so fucked up,” Rex muttered, and added, “when do you have to go?”
“In a few hours.”
Rex’s eyes widened. “What?” He heaved, and shook his head, “I can’t believe this is happening. There must be something we can do-”
“It’s no use,” I explained, “I just wanted to come and say goodbye.”
Immediately, Rex cupped my face as he lifted my head, his lips collided into mine. I deepened the kiss, and wrapped my arms around his neck, both of us felt the urgency behind our kiss, not wanting this moment to end.
Suddenly, he drew back, as his chest heaved. “Wait here a second.” He said, before he stalked off.
I wiped away at the corners of my eyes, as the heavy feeling formed inside of my chest. Soon after, I watched as Rex emerged back into the living room. It was then that I realized Rex had fallen asleep in last night’s outfit, with the exception of the spandex pants, which he had exchanged for gray briefs.
My gaze shifted as I fixated on something in his hands, he took the seat beside me and held out. My brows furrowed as I managed to figure out what it was he was showing me.
A silver ring, with a small black gemstone in the shape of a teardrop.
“I wanted to give this to you the other night,” he began, “it’s a promise ring. It’s hmm- nothing too fancy or anything, but I’m hoping you’d accept it.”
The tears began to roll down my eyes, and I sniffled, as I quickly wiped at my nose. “Oh my god, Rex. Of course.”
I lifted my hand as Rex took it as an indication and slipped the ring onto my finger. Rex and I kissed once again, before I paused and drew back.
“I have to go now.” I said.
Rex sighed. “Alright.” He muttered, as he stood up, took my hand and walked me to the front door.
—----
Rex sat on the couch as he continued to drain out the bottle of beer, he felt like utter shit and knew that continuing to drink would only add fuel to the fire.
Moments later, Dime stepped into the living room, it was evident he had just taken a shower as he reeked of shampoo.
“Woah, day drinking I see.” He commented as he took the seat beside Rex, then reached towards the coffee table and took a beer for himself. “What’s up?”
“She’s leaving.”
“Why?” Dime asked.
“This stupid deal she made with her parents, but she didn’t hold her end and now she’s gotta go back to California.”
Dime sighed. “I’m sorry, man.”
Rex remained silent, as he continued to drink. “I wish there was something I could do.”
“Is there though?”
“I don’t know, she said she tried to ask Billy to have her back in the band, but his mind is set.” Rex explained.
“Then beat up Billy,” Dime suggested, and took a swig of his beer, “you did it before.”
“I don’t think that’s the answer.”
“Well, it’s better than you sitting here moping.”
Suddenly, Rex shot up. “You’re right. I have to at least try.”
“Of course I’m right.”
Rex shot Dime a cold stare. “Yeah, don’t get cocky though,” he said, “where’s Billy’s pad?”
“It’s down on Mayfield, asshole has the house painted in yellow and blue,” Dime hissed, “who the fuck paints their house that color,” he commented, and then added, “if you see the Wendy’s then you’ve gone too far.”
“Alright, thanks.”
“Hey, will you pick me up some donuts.” Dime asked.
Rex’s brows furrowed. “No!” He said, before he ran upstairs to put on a pair of jeans and his shoes before he headed out.
The drive over to Billy’s had taken a couple of minutes, and according to Dime’s instructions, Billy’s house was painted in the most hideous color.
Rex pulled up by the sidewalk, as he hurriedly got out of his car. The closer he edged towards Billy’s house, he noticed the sound of shuffling in the garage. He stepped around it, as he realized the garage door was swung wide open, whilst Billy worked on his car.
“Billy.” Rex called out.
The sound of shuffling emerged, and Billy rolled out from beneath the car. He frowned, the moment his eyes laid on Rex. “What are you doing here?” He spat, “you want another black eye.”
“You want a broken nose again?” Rex challenged.
Billy scoffed. “I know why you’re here.”
“Oh yeah,” Rex said in a stern voice, as he straightened his back and folded his arms across his chest. Suddenly, Rex’s expression shifted, and his face softened. He unfolded his arms and stepped towards Billy as he closed the gap between them. “Listen man, don’t punish her for this.”
Billy shook his head. “Hey, I warned her what would happen. I made very clear boundaries… to stay away from you guys.”
“What is it that makes you hate us so much?” Rex asked, then abruptly added, “look man, I’m sorry I hit your car when I was drunk.”
Billy scoffed, and shook his head. “Wait, you think this is about the car.”
Rex stared at Billy as he dug through his memories. “The girl I made out with at homecoming, she was your date?”
“I barely even remember her name.”
“Then what, dude?”
“I’m not talking about this.” Billy said as he stepped away.
Abruptly, Rex closed the gap between them as he tugged at Billy’s arm. “Hey, let’s settle this,” Rex challenged, as he watched the expression in Billy’s face shift. Rex exhaled. “Come on, man. Quit messing around.”
Billy’s gaze softened, as he cast aside the dirty rag that was in his hand. He then leaned against his car bumper, and sighed, “you really don’t remember me?”
Rex cocked his head to the side. “What? Of course I remember you,” Rex began.
“How I got to Arilington.”
“You came to Arlington High, in sophmore year or something.” Rex said, as he pressed down onto his temples.
“I mean before then.” Billy said, as he watched Rex’s brows furrowed. He sighed, and painted Rex a picture. “De Leon, in ‘72, my house was over on Ross Avenue.” Billy said.
Suddenly, something clicked inside Rex’s mind. The images flashed before him as he was being pulled back into the very depths of his childhood. He stared at Billy, the memories laid out before him, and he suddenly remembered the face in front of him, only it had belonged to a boy which he had seen at least eleven years ago.
“Wait,” Rex said as he shifted forward, “you’re telling me that you’re Billy Moore?” He shook his head, “how?”
“When my dad split, my mom made me change my last name to hers. It was Billy Moore, but it’s Billy Palmer now.”
“Oh my god,” Rex gasped, “so this whole time… why didn’t you say anything?”
“I tried, on my first day at Arlington High,” Billy explained, and then added, “but you stared at me like I was some crazy person, and I guess it was easier for me to hate you.”
“I’m sorry, I was an asshole,” Rex said, “but for what it’s worth, I tried to forget about my time in De Leon, that’s when my-” he paused.
“I know, and I’m sorry too.”
Rex stared at the ground, unable to find the words. “I did always beat you on the track.” Rex commented.
Billy scoffed. “Please, I let you win. With your chicken legs and scrawny frame.” He laughed.
A crooked smile formed on Rex’s face. “Still cocky I see.”
Billy released a low chuckle. “Look, she can come back into the band.”
Rex shook his head. “Yeah? Thanks,” he said, and then added, “but honestly I don’t even know if it’s gonna change anything. Her plane leaves in like an hour.”
Billy stood up and clapped his hands together. “Well, I guess we better hurry up there then.”
“What?”
“Come on, let’s go.”
“Are you serious?” Rex asked.
“Well, you must really care about her if you’re willing to come here and yap away.” Billy retorted as he spun around and drew his keys from his pocket. “We can take my car, it’s faster,” he said then turned to face Rex, “you should know, you paid for the engine.” He smirked.
Rex shot him a cold stare. “Yeah well, the money I gave you was from the drugs I overcharged you for.”
“Woah,” Billy raised his index finger and pointed at Rex, “I’m still pissed at you for that man.”
“No one told you to have a big fucking mouth. Jeez, you’re loud like Steven Tyler.”
“Do not talk about Steven Tyler. That man is a God.” Billy hissed.
Rex scoffed. “Of course, a lead singer would see Tyler as a God.”
“And, let me guess, your God is Gene Simmons.”
Rex’s lips pressed thin, and shot back. “Man, shut up.”
The moment Rex stepped into Billy’s car, Billy had shoved the key into the ignition as the engine immediately roared to life. Then, Billy’s foot slammed down onto the gas pedal, hard, as they sped through the streets, hoping that they had enough time.

We'll Meet Again (Part 10)
Rex Brown x Female Reader
Note: This will be the final chapter, I've enjoyed writing this little series but unfortunately, all things must come to an end.
Summary: With the feud finally over between your band and Pantera, it seems like everything is falling into place.
Age rating: 18+ *Mature content*

The thunderous roar of the crowd bellowed throughout the club. My body ached, as the adrenaline continued to pump through my veins.
I spun around as I watched Rob, Tom and Billy step forward towards the stage, as they stood adjacent to me. Our arms wrapped around each other as we allowed this moment of adoration to cloud us.
We raised our metal horns in the air, as one by one we stalked off the stage. The cheers continued to graze us.
The moment I stepped off the stage, I was greeted by Rex as he planted a kiss on my lips.
“That show was killer!” He exclaimed.
Billy grabbed a towel as he wiped his body down. “If that doesn’t make Mercury want to sign us then they can go fuck themselves.” He commented.
Tom set down his guitar, before he grabbed a bottle of beer from the table and placed it against his lips, and took several huge gulps. “Yeah, I was afraid you’d have an off night-” he commented at Billy.
Billy shot him a cold stare. “Why would I have an off night?”
Tom shrugged. “You just looked a bit pale earlier.”
“Oh yeah, I wasn’t feeling too good. Made the mistake of eating seafood at a diner.”
Tom’s brows furrowed. “That’s weird, my sister’s also sick at home cause she ate seafood at a diner.”
Suddenly, Rex and I locked eyes with each other. The memory of running into Billy and Tom’s sister at the diner had crossed my mind.
“Coincidence, I guess-” Billy stuttered.
I cleared my throat. “Anyway,” I began, “Rex and I are gonna hang at the Abbott house.”
“Yeah, you guys are welcome to come.” Rex said.
“Sure,” Billy motioned.
Just then, Randy, the club owner, stalked into the room. He was perhaps in his forties and was a burly guy, who stood over six feet tall with ink that covered every inch of his arms, and a short shaved salt and pepper hair. Behind him, was a weasley looking man, around the same age as Randy. He wore a brown suede suit, with a receding hairline and thick gold glasses. In his hand he held a briefcase as he followed Randy on his heels.
“I’ve got someone from Mercury who wants to talk to you guys.” Randy announced.
Immediately, Rob removed himself from the chair as he stepped forward. Randy stepped aside, to allow the man close the gap between us.
Tension lingered in the air, and I felt my heartbeat pound against my chest.
The weasley man from Mercury drew out a business card as he handed it to Billy. We all stepped towards Billy as I glanced over his shoulder.
“Chester Ogilvie.” Billy read aloud from the card, as I watched him try to conceal his laughter.
Chester cleared his throat. “Yes… anyway, we’re very interested… Can we talk officially on Monday, say ten in the morning?”
My gaze jumped to the band and then back at Chester. “Of course, we’ll all be there.” Billy announced.
“Great.” Chester commented, as he held out his hand and we all shook it one by one. “I’ll see you all on Monday.” He said, before he stalked away.
“Dude!” Rob screamed at the top of his lungs, before he jumped up onto us. Taken aback, we all stumbled and fell down onto the ground.
“Ouch, my ass,” Tom commented and groaned.
“Who the fuck cares, we’re gonna get signed!” Billy exclaimed.
I laughed as reality sunk into me, knowing that these three idiots had changed my life forever.
----------------
“So I swing the mic like this,” Billy explained to Terry as he demonstrated his tricks on stage.
“Oh neat,” Terry exclaimed.
“Here, you try,” Billy said and handed Terry the mic.
I had created a seat for myself in the corner of the garage, shoving a mountainful of blankets and piled them on top of each other.
Meanwhile, Rob and Vinnie were exchanging war stories as drummers, whilst Tom, Dime and Rex were huddled together playing beer pong as they crouched on the ground, every so often they cheered and screamed.
In the distance, I eyed Scarlet’s car pulling up in the driveway, as I pushed myself onto standing and stalked to greet her.
Scarlet removed herself from the car, as her eyes narrowed. “Am I tripping on acid, or are your boys hanging out with Pantera?” She asked in confusion.
I chuckled. “It’s a long story… but the feud is over.”
“Thank god!” Scarlet gasped, “so what was it?”
I shrugged. “I actually don’t know.”
Scarlet pursed her lips. All of sudden, she slapped me on my arm. “What was it that I heard you were gonna go back to California?” She hissed.
“Hey,” I exclaimed, as I rubbed my arm, “another long story, but it’s all good now.”
“You were gonna leave and not say goodbye.” She bickered, then folded her arms over her chest.
I sighed. “I went to your place, but your brother said you weren’t home… and I left you that red leather jacket you liked,” I explained, then added, “I swear I was gonna call you the moment I arrived in California.”
Scarlet’s eyes narrowed, as she cocked her head to the side. “Fair enough, I do really like that red leather jacket.” She released, as she unfolded her arms and stepped towards me with open arms. I drew in as I hugged her.
“Where were you so early anyway?” I questioned.
“I was at Peter’s house.” She answered nonchalantly.
“You’re dating Peter?”
She shrugged. “Eh- I wouldn’t really call it dating. He’s kinda- I don’t know… boring, actually.”
“Listen,” I began as I edged closer towards her, the words Rex had once said to me about Dime had entered my mind, “what do you think about Dime?” I proceeded with caution.
“Dime?” Scarlet asked in confusion.
“He’s sweet, and cute… plus, he’s much more interesting.”
Scarlet cocked her to the side. “I’ve known him forever.” She commented, then added, “he’s kinda scrawny though. I mean, I know you’re into that.”
I shot her a cold stare. “Well, just think about it.”
“I guess I never really thought about Dime in that way,” she mentioned, “then again… I have seen him in those spandex, and hmm- definitely interesting, down there.” She said and cocked an eyebrow.
Just then, Dime joined us and asked, “Hey what are you guys talking about?”
Scarlet and I both burst into laughter in unison.
The rest of the night had simply been a blur, as I shifted between unconsciousness and reality. Dime had offered Rex and I his room for the evening, where we stumbled upstairs. I peeled away my jacket and removed my leather shorts and boots.
“God, I’m so tired.” I said.
Rex rubbed his eyes. “Same.”
I got under the covers whilst Rex did the same, and shifted in my position. He pressed his body against my back as he wrapped his arms around me.
The sunlight seeped through the drapes in the morning, as I groaned and shielded my eyes. I thrashed in bed as I turned to my side, my hand patted against the empty mattress.
Lifting my head, I frowned as Rex was nowhere to be seen. My head pounded from last night’s festivities.
I managed to stumble out of bed, as I rubbed my eyes and stalked out of the room. Feeling parched, I slowly stepped down the stairs and crossed the living room.
Tom, Rob and Billy were passed out and scattered around the living room, a smile flashed across my face at the very sight of them. Before I made my way into the kitchen, where Vinnie stood in front of the refrigerator.
“Hey.” I said, my voice croaked.
He groaned. “Hey, you want some juice?”
“Yes!” I exclaimed.
Vinnie drew out a carton of orange juice, and two glasses from the cabinet. The moment he had poured the sweet drink into the glass and handed it to me, I had drunk it all in one swift motion, before I wiped the corners of my mouth, feeling the refreshing liquid graze my throat.
“Where’s everyone else?” I asked.
“Dime’s with Scarlet,” he said, then added, “in my bedroom.”
My eyes widened. “Oh.”
“And, I think Rex is in the shower.” He added.
“I’ll wait for him to be done, then.” I said, as I set down the empty glass in the sink and shuffled away.
“Hmm, Rex doesn’t lock the door… unfortunately.” Vinnie added.
“Huh.” I said and smirked, as I made my way back upstairs to the bathroom.
I pressed my ear against the door as I heard the faint sounds of water running in the background. My knuckles connected against the door.
“Rex!” I called out.
“Yeah?” I heard Rex’s muffled voice behind the door.
My fingers curled over the door handle as I clicked down onto the lever, immediately the door pushed open as I slipped inside. Steam had clouded the bathroom, as I waved it away with my hand. My fingers turned the door latch as I trapped us both in there.
Rex poked his head from behind the shower curtain. “Is everything alright?” He asked.
A devious smile flashed across my face. “Yeah, why wouldn’t it be,” I began as I stepped towards him, “I just thought you could use some company?” I suggested and shrugged.
Rex smirked. “I could always use company.”
Hurriedly, I removed my clothes as I stepped into the shower with Rex. Water descended down onto both of us, it was then that I noticed how long his hair had grown since the first time we had met.
I wrapped my arms around Rex as I drew him in for a kiss, my fingers then traced his hair. “So pretty.” I commented, and added, “can I wash it?”
“Sure.” He responded in surprise.
Rex sat down in the bathtub as I knelt behind him, I reached for the bottle of shampoo and squeezed enough liquid onto my palm. I rubbed my hands together as my fingertips gently massaged Rex’s head, he threw his head back and closed his eyes. My fingers ran through his luxurious long locks.
“Your hair is prettier than mine.” I said, with a hint of jealousy in my tone.
He released a low chuckle.
As my fingers continued to stroke through Rex’s hair, then I reached for the shower head as I carefully washed away the bubbles that had matted against his hair.
Rex turned around and said, “my turn now.” Excitement crossed me, as multiple scenarios immediately bounced through my mind. “Stand up.” He ordered, as I immediately did as I was told.
Rex knelt down in front me, as he grabbed the bottle of shower gel and squeezed a good amount onto his palms. He stared up at me and said, “I’m going to start from down here and work my way up.” He smirked.
My jaw clenched, and my breaths turned heavy. I felt Rex’s fingers caress my legs, as he went up and down, then down and up again. Slowly, his fingers reached up to my thighs, as he grazed the inside of my thighs. I felt a tingling sensation between my legs, as I flinched. His hands then grabbed down onto my ass, hard, as he continued to squeeze down onto it, before the palm of his hand collided against my ass.
I giggled. As he stared up at me through his eyelashes.
Then, his hands went against the side of my hips, before he stood up and towered over me. His fingers trailed along the sides of my waist as he gently massaged my stomach, then his hands hovered over my breasts.
He stared at me with a wicked smile that flashed across his face. As his hands cupped my breasts, I threw my head back and moaned. His thumbs massaged over my nipples as he then squeezed my breasts. Before his hands found its way around my neck as he drew me towards him and his lips crashed against mine. My lips parted as he slipped his warm tongue in between.
He then reached for the shower head as he drenched us both in water, before he hooked it onto the shower holder. Abruptly, his hands gripped my hips as he hoisted me up.
I giggled, as I wrapped my legs around his waist. Somehow, I had underestimated Rex’s strength due to his scrawny frame. It was then that I noticed the toned muscles on his arms, as my hands caressed his skin.
Then, I felt Rex’s hard length enter me. I held in my breath, and my eyes closed. My arms wrapped around his neck as I held onto him. At first, Rex moved in slow thrusts, as my back was plastered against the wet tiles.
“Oh my god,” I moaned, as Rex increased his thrusts. He nuzzled his face into my neck as I heard his muffled grunts. Rex’s grip tightened around my waist as he held me in position, as he continued to thrust into me.
I called out his name again in pleasure, as he did with mine. Then, his mouth found mine again, as our tongues collided against each other, both of us feeling the urgency behind our kiss. Rex continued to move his hips, as I found myself being possessed by the pleasure. Then, Rex closed his eyes as he once again planted his face into my neck, he quivered as I felt his release.
With our chest heaving, I drew away from him, I wrapped my arms around his neck as we began to kiss once again.
All of a sudden, I heard the pounding against the bathroom door. “You’ve used up all the fucking hot water!” Dime’s voice growled angrily behind the door. “What the hell are you doing in there?”
Rex and I chuckled. “Shit,” he murmured, “just a sec!” He yelled.
-----------
After our awkward conversation with Dime once we had exited the bathroom, Rex and I found ourselves driving aimlessly around town. With the burden lifted from my shoulders, it seemed that Rex and I had the entire world in the palm of our hands.
“Let’s drive to the Fotomat?” I suddenly said.
Rex stared at me in disbelief, before his attention turned back onto the road. One of his hands gripped down onto the steering wheel, whilst his other hung nonchalantly on the side of the window. “What? Why would you wanna go there?”
“It’s where we first met… wouldn’t it be fun.”
“The Fotomat kiosk? Fun?”
I nodded. “Yeah, why not?”
He scoffed and released a low chuckle. “Weirdo.” He commented, as I then playfully slapped him on the arm. “Alright, then.” He agreed.
Moments later, Rex pulled up at the empty parking lot, as the little yellow hut of the Fotomat kiosk came into view. The car came to a halt, as we both stepped from out of it.
“Actually, I want to show you something.” He said, as he opened the glove compartment and drew out a walkman, with a set of headphones attached to it.
Rex then stepped around the car as he jumped onto the hood of his car. Curiosity lingered in me, as I joined Rex.
He handed me the walkman with a tape inside. “It’s really rough… so I haven’t brought this to the guys yet, but I wanted you to listen to it,” he explained.
I took the headphones from him as I placed them onto my head. “I wrote right after we met at the Fotomat.” He continued.
“God, that seemed like such a lifetime ago.” I scoffed.
“Tell me about it.” Rex added.
Rex pressed down onto the play button and I immediately heard the acoustic guitar tunes, followed by his voice. I listened intently as I felt chills and butterflies in my stomach, as I fought back the tears. The lyrics were utterly beautiful, and I was lost for words.
The tape stopped, and I removed the headphones from my head.
“Oh my gosh, Rex… that’s so amazing.” I said, “what’s the song called?”
Rex smiled, and responded. “We’ll Meet Again.”

We'll Meet Again (Part 7)

Summary: Now that the secret is out, it seems like you and Rex are finally at peace... or so you thought.

Scarlet snatched the poster before me and crumpled it up into a ball before she flung it across the room.
“Hey,” I protested.
“You’ve been staring at that all day and it’s driving me crazy!” Scarlet whined, as she ran her fingers through her hair. She then continued to focus on unboxing the stack of records as she placed them on the shelves.
I shifted in my position as I grabbed onto the counter in hopes to aid my balance. “I can’t believe Billy is seriously kicking me out just cause I’m with Rex.”
Scarlet sighed. “Lead singers, huh.”
“It’s just totally unfair man,” I groaned.
“You’ll find another band.” She shrugged.
“Ugh- all the other bands in town are shit,” I commented, “seriously, you should have seen some of the ones that I’ve auditioned for.”
“So form your own.”
I shook my head. “I tried, but they’re either too afraid to cross Billy.”
Scarlet paused as she wiped her hands against her denim shorts and stepped towards the counter. “Look, tonight after Pantera’s show we’re all gonna party at the Abbott house. We’ll get drunk, and it’s gonna be a good time.”
I stared at Scarlet. “Yeah, I guess.”
“That’s the spirit.” She said sarcastically.
I scoffed. “I still need to figure out this band thing… I can’t not be playing, it’s been a week and it’s driving me insane.”
Scarlet rolled her eyes. “Yeah, yeah… it’ll be fine, come on. Chill.”
“Fine,” I sighed.
“So… you and Rex, huh?” Scarlet cocked her head to the side, and smirked. “Tell me, is his hair down there as pretty as on the top of his head?”
“Scarlet!” I gasped, as I felt my cheeks flush.
“What? I’m curious.” Scarlet commented, then shrugged and added, “fine, don’t tell me.”
I huffed. “Let’s just say his natural hair color is a darker brown.”
“I knew he dyed his hair,” Scarlet hissed, “I figured that guy can’t have everything. With those pretty puppy dog eyes and golden locks.”
I shook my head. “Alright, can we talk about something else, please?”
—-------
The adrenaline I had caught from Pantera’s show remained lodged in my veins. The images constantly flashed in my mind, the way Terry’s voice gripped me, Dime’s fingers moved as the speed as light and the heavy beats which emerged from Vinnie’s drum set. But lastly, the way Rex played, the energy he had possessed, and the way his hand slid up and down against the neck of the bass.
After the show had ended, we had dispersed to make our way towards the Abbott house, which was commonly known as the party house. Whilst I had heard stories from Scarlet, I had never stepped foot into it.
Scarlet pulled up by the driveway, a row of cars had already formed. The garage door was swung wide open with a cluster of people surrounding it. The roaring sound of heavy metal seeped out from the speakers.
Just when I was about to get out of the car, Scarlet tapped my arm. I spun to face her as she drew out a row of condoms from her purse.
“Dude, what the hell?” I yelled.
“What? You never know.”
“Why do you have so many?”
Scarlet shrugged. “Take some.”
I stared at her, unable to conjure up the words. “I think I’m good.”
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
Scarlet shoved them back into her purse. “Alright, well don’t come crying to me later.”
My brows furrowed, as I stalked out of the car and stepped around. I joined Scarlet by her side and we made our way towards the Abbott house.
The moment we reached the garage, the stench of beer and sweat lingered in the air. I watched the unfamiliar faces before me scattered around. The garage was where the band practiced, with their instruments and amps propped up in the corner. Posters of half naked girls were matted against the walls, and a huge tapestry of the band’s logo was hung up behind Vinnie’s drum set. I managed to spot the wonky lines on the tapestry and the image of the boys sitting around and painting it entered my mind.
I followed Scarlet on her heels as she led the way towards the kitchen, where we reached the counter and picked up two beers, which she handed one to me.
In the distance I heard a loud bang, which caused me to jump. “What was that?” I asked.
“Just the boys doing their usual.” Scarlet said and shrugged.
Just then, I watched as Rex, Dime, Terry and Vince stalked towards me. They all burst into laughter in unison.
“Dude, that was so cool.” Terry exclaimed.
“I think next time we oughta blow those fireworks out of Vinnie’s ass.” Dime suggested.
“Shut up, asshole!” Vinnie said as he playfully lifted Dime over his shoulder as if he weighed nothing and set him back down.
“Hey baby,” Rex said as he wrapped his arm around me and planted a kiss on my lips.
“Hey.” I responded.
“You’re the chick who’s in that band with Billy?” Terry asked.
Rex shot him a cold stare. “Guys.” He warned.
“No, no. It’s fine,” I said and added, “yep that was me.”
The others burst into laughter again. “Oh my god, Billy is a psycho, dude.” Dime commented.
“Right? He makes Steven Tyler look like Mother Teresa.” Vinnie said.
I pressed my lips together. Whilst I was still bitter for Billy kicking me out of the band, I had always admired Billy’s drive. “Well, sure, he’s dramatic… but he’s actually a great lead singer.”
“You don’t have to be so nice about him.” Terry added.
“Guys, come on- let’s drop it.” Rex said.
Vinnie cleared his throat and stepped forward. “Well, I don’t know about you A-Holes but I’m gonna get wasted now.” He exclaimed as he grabbed a six pack of beer and tucked it underneath his armpit, before he spun around and stalked off.
“Hey, wait man- I paid for those beers!” Terry argued as he chased after Vinnie.
“Actually, I’ve got a joint.” Dime said, as he drew it out from his jeans pocket.
Scarlet stepped forward and snatched it from him. “And you waited until now to tell us.” Dime shrugged, as Scarlet spun around to face us as she raised the joint in the air. “Shall we?”
We remained huddled on the couch in the living room, forming our own separate club from the rest of the party. Vinnie and Terry were nowhere to be seen, meanwhile, Dime, Rex, Scarlet and I remained motionless and scattered on the couch. Whilst weed wasn’t exactly my thing, I had taken one hit before passing it back, and had settled on consuming alcohol.
My mind had begun to cloud and my hearing had seemed to drain out most of the sounds which had surrounded me. The feeling of weightlessness had consumed me.
“I think I might try wearing those scarves like Steven Tyler does.” Dime commented, his eyes fixated upon the TV before him that wasn’t on.
“Dude… no,” Rex added, his words began to slur.
“You should do it too!” Dime added, “you know you wanna man. Remember when you said you refused to put on spandex, well,” he said and gestured to Rex.
“You guys pressured me into wearing spandex, man.” Rex argued.
“I think it looks good on you.” I commented, as Rex tilted his head to face me. I closed the gap between us and planted a kiss on his lips.
Dime and Scarlet made oooh sounds, which I scoffed and raised my middle finger at them. “I like a guy with spandex.” Scarlet added.
“Really?” Dime asked, as he raised his eyebrow.
“Oh yeah, you can see everything.” Scarlet teased, as her gaze scanned Dime up and down, which caused him to avert his eyes elsewhere.
I shifted in my position to face Rex, my legs pressed against his. It was then that I noticed he hadn’t changed out of his stage clothes. He wore tight charcoal gray spandex that had a faint leopard print, which he had placed a chunky leather belt across his waist, paired with a silky material black shirt with the top few buttons undid.
My fingers trailed along his chest, before my hand reached up towards the side of his face, gently angling him to face me as I planted a kiss on his lips. Then my fingers found its way into his hair as I deepened the kiss.
“Jeez, get a room, you two.” Scarlet scoffed as she chucked an empty beer can at us.
Rex and I drew away from each other. “Hey!” I retorted, then added, “but yes we will.” I said as I grabbed Rex by the hand and pulled him up.
“Woah,” he said, as he stumbled to find his balance.
Dime and Scarlet once again made ooh noises. “You can use my room, man.” Dime added, and laughed.
I smirked at him, whilst I tried to guide Rex away.
“Oh, Rex if you ever want to get your hair dyed just tell me-” Scarlet yelled.
“What? I don’t dye my hair-” Rex stuttered.
“Yeah sure,” Scarlet added and snickered beneath her breath.
Rex turned his attention to me, and I responded,“she’s drunk.”
We stalked through the house as I navigated my way up the stairs, before we reached a long narrow hallway. A floral print wallpaper was plastered surrounding us, filled with framed photographs, the faces staring directly at us.
“Where’s Dime’s room?” I asked.
“Down here.” Rex added, as I followed him on his heels, before I tripped over myself and tried to find my balance. “Are you alright?”
I snickered. “Shit, I’m so drunk.” My words began to slur.
“Me too.” Rex commented and chuckled.
We managed to stumble to the room at the end of the hallway, as Rex pushed open the door I was immediately hit with the whiff of sweat infused with a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Posters had covered every inch of Dime’s bedroom, his bed was obviously unmade, with piles of clothes scattered across the ground.
“I’ll open a window.” Rex commented as he trudged across the room and tugged at the window, as he freed it open which allowed a gentle breeze to seep into the bedroom. “So, what do you wanna do?” Rex asked.
I smirked and stepped towards him, as I wrapped my arms around him. “Oh, I think you know.” I said before I pushed him down onto the bed.
I knelt down in front of him as my hand slithered up his legs and paused over his belt. “Oh,” he murmured. I gazed at him through my eyelashes as I unhooked his belt. “You don’t- hmm-” he said, and paused.
“You’ve been such a good boy.” I teased, as my hand grazed over the bulge in his pants.
Rex’s breathing quickened as he threw his head back. His hands knotted in my hair as he grabbed a fistful and tugged on it. I released a gasp, as he said, “you’re always pulling on mine.” He smirked.
My hand continued to stroke Rex’s crotch as I watched his breathing quicken, his fingers grabbed and tugged at my hair. “Oh god.” He muttered beneath his breath as he closed his eyes and threw his head back.
Slowly, I pulled his pants down exposing his hardened cock, before I lowered my mouth down onto him, as my tongue slid across his length. Rex squirmed beneath my touch, as I placed my mouth onto him and went down and up, then up and down again. I paused, before my tongue flicked in circular motions on the head of his length.
Rex’s grip tightened, as his lips pressed together and his chest heaved. “Fuck.” He hissed, as his fingers ran through my hair as he pulled my hair back and held it tight into a ponytail.
He pushed my head against him as I felt him quiver, before he released the grip on my hair and I wiped the corners of my mouth. Just then Rex held me in my arms as he hoisted me up as I straddled him. Our lips collided into each other as my hands ran across his neck and then his chest as I unbuttoned his shirt.
Suddenly the image of Scarlet pulling out a row of condoms out of her purse, and the realization had hit me that I didn’t have any on me. I drew away from Rex. “Shit, you got a rubber?” I asked.
“Hmm, I think Dime keeps them in the drawer over there,” Rex said.
I removed myself from him as I stalked towards Dime’s nightstand. My hand paused on the wooden knob, somehow afraid of what I may uncover. Hurriedly, I pulled the drawer open as I rummaged through several dirty magazines, loose coins and other junk. Right in the bottom, I found a pack of unopened condoms, and tore open the box.
“Either he goes through them super quick, or he’s never opened them before.” I commented, as I chucked them back into the drawer.
“He’s probably waiting for Scarlet,” Rex scoffed.
“Scarlet?”
“Yeah, Dime’s had a crush on her since like the ninth grade.”
“I didn’t know that.” I said and cocked my head to the side, then shook my head. “Anyway, where were we,” I added, as I stepped back to Rex and straddled him.
He smiled at me as I lowered my head and kissed him again, he immediately deepened the kiss, as my lips parted and he slipped his tongue inside, both of us feeling the urgency and passion. It wasn’t long before I tore apart Rex’s shirt and cast it aside, as he hurriedly removed his pants. He sat up as his hands grabbed at my breasts, as he pulled down my top exposing myself to him. He placed his head in between my breasts before he pushed them together, then he drew away and placed his mouth over my nipple, his teeth gently tugging at it.
I moaned, as my fingers found its way knotted into his hair, pushing his head closer towards me. Just then, Rex’s hands slithered down my back as he cupped my ass and pulled me down with him. He grabbed a fistful of my hair as he nuzzled his face into the side of my neck.
“Fuck me, now.” I yearned for him.
Rex slipped the rubber onto himself, as I then lowered myself onto him as I felt him inside of me. Rex’s breathing quickened, as his hands held onto my hips, slowly my hips moved. Rex closed his eyes and he pressed his lips together.
I continued to ride back and forth, as I found my momentum and the bed beneath us began to creak. My fingers gripped down onto Rex’s chest, the sweat had begun to form and had matted against his body. Rex reached up as he grabbed my breasts, squeezing them down, before his fingers twirled in my hair and pulled me down towards him, as he grunted into my neck. Whilst his other hand found its way to my ass as he slapped down onto it hard, I flinched as my hips continued to move.
“Do it again.” I hissed.
Rex’s hand collided against my ass once again, as I moaned into him, before he slapped me several more times. I continued to ride him, as I watched Rex grunt beneath me, his hands grabbed at my breasts, before I felt the pleasure possess us both.
I sunk down onto him, our sweaty bodies plastered against each other, sweat matted against my hair. As he brushed it aside and planted a kiss on my forehead, I could still hear his heartbeat palpitating beneath me, as we fought to catch our breaths.
We continued to lay there, as we stared at Dime’s ceiling that had a poster of Farrah Fawcett, and I immediately giggled at the image.
“I should probably head back home.” I said, not wanting to leave.
“Do you have to?”
“Yeah,” I groaned, “my mom’s still mad that I didn’t come home and not call the other night.”
“Alright.” Rex said and frowned, “let me walk you back though.”
—--------
Once Rex and I had gotten back into our clothes, we found ourselves strolling down the neighborhood under the black abyss of the night sky.
We stalked on the empty roads hand in hand, and I saw the familiar looking house in the distance. My heart sank, as I knew this moment alone with Rex would end.
As we reached my house, we paused and I wrapped my arms around Rex. “I don’t want to go in.” I whined.
He released a low chuckle beneath his breath. “I don’t want you to go too, but I’ll see you in the morning.”
I groaned. “I guess so.”
“Do you want me to walk you to the door?”
“Sure, my mom’s probably asleep.”
We ascended the steps before I drew out my key from my pocket and quietly slipped it into the lock. However, just when I was about to turn it, the door swung wide open.
To my dismay, my mother stood in the door, as if she were guarding it. My gaze looked over her expression, and I knew that something wasn’t right. Her brows furrowed, and her jaw was clenched.
“Mom, hey, you’re up?” I said.
“Hey, hmm… Mrs-” Rex stuttered.
“Get inside,” my mom ordered.
“I’ll see you tomorrow.” I said to Rex, as I turned to him.
“Yeah, see you.” He said, as he reluctantly kissed me on the cheek instead, before he stalked off.
My mom stepped aside, and allowed me to cross over the threshold. “I know… I should have called, I’m sorry.” I immediately said, the lines I had constantly spoken had failed to give any meaning to me anymore.
My mom cleared her throat. “Do I even want to ask about his black eye?”
I released a nervous chuckle. “Oh, hmm- it was an accident he had.”
“Uh huh,” she said, and then added, “we need to talk.”
“Oh,” I responded, as I rubbed my eyes, “well, can it wait… I’m really tired.”
“I’ll bet you are,” she growled, and placed her hands on her hips, “with all this partying you’re doing with Scarlet and gallivanting with that boy.” She spat in disgust. “This ends now.”
“Oh come on, it's summer. I’m allowed to have a little fun.”
My mom sighed. “The only reason why you’re here and not in college is because of the deal you made with us. We allowed you to follow your dreams of being in a band, and because you were on the way to getting signed, but now that I hear you’ve been kicked out of that band.”
“Look, it’s a really long story… yes, there was an issue with Billy, but I’m trying really hard to find another,” I explained, then added, “actually, I’m gonna form my own.”
My mom shook her head. “That wasn’t part of the deal,” she challenged, “you weren’t able to hold up your end, so, you’re going back to California and enrolling into school.”
The words rang in my ears. “What? Woah, no!” I protested, “I’m not going anywhere.”
“Yes you are. You’re going back to California, that was the deal.”
“Be reasonable mom, just because I got kicked out of the band doesn’t mean that my life is over here.”
“I know exactly why you want to stay,” she hissed, “that boy. I’m not going to let you throw your life away for him.”
“You don’t even know Rex, how can you judge him?”
My mom scoffed. “Believe me. I know boys like him. He’ll only break your heart.” She sighed, her face suddenly softening, “I know you think I’m a monster for doing this, but I only want what’s best for you.”
My chest ached, as I tried to swallow back the tears. Images flashed in my mind of my time with Rex, knowing that it was about to be cut short.
“I’ve bought your plane ticket. You leave in the morning.” My mom ordered.

Billy stepped forward as he closed the gap between us, his brows furrowed as the string of thoughts formed in his mind. “Are you with him?” He sneered.
I raised my hands in the air as if I were calling a truce. “Billy, listen… yes, I am- but, it’s not going to affect my ability to be in the band.”
“I told you what would happen.” Billy threatened.
“Hey, come on man- it’s not that big of a deal,” Rex interjected.
“You stay out of this!”
“Woah, dude- you’re not gonna talk to me like that.” Rex hissed between gritted teeth, as he lunged forward towards Billy.
Immediately, I moved in between the two of them as I protested. “Guys, let’s just both chill, okay?”
“You’re outta the band!” Billy growled as he turned his attention to me.
“What?” I questioned.
“Billy, dude, that’s a bit harsh-” Tom said in the distance.
Billy shot him a cold glare.
“Alright, that’s it,” Rex exploded, “I’ve had enough of this shit.” He commanded as he shoved Billy.
Billy stumbled backwards, his jaw clenched and his hands curled into fists, as rage filled within his eyes.
“You walk around this town calling us assholes and whatnot. All this time we’ve just let you do your own thing, but enough is enough. You’re messing with my girl, and I won’t have it.” Rex retaliated.
My cheeks flushed at Rex’s remark.
“Hate me all you want, but don’t take this out on her,” Rex said, and added, “so come on, let’s settle this shit.”
Billy scoffed. “What do you want me to do, fight you?”
“Yeah, you know you wanna… come on, I’ll even let you take the first hit.”
“I’m not going to fight you.” Billy added.
“Rex, come on, stop it.” I said.
At that moment, Rex was completely blinded by his adrenaline. He straightened his stance, and stood his ground, ready to fight at any moment. “So, what’s it gonna be, huh?” He taunted Billy.
Billy sighed, his gaze averted to the ground, and then he suddenly lunged at Rex. His fist connected with his face. I gasped, and was about to step forward to Rex’s side, before Rex immediately shot up and charged at Billy. They both fell to the ground, an entanglement of limbs as they clashed into a hateful embrace and rolled on the floor. Rex managed to get the upper hand as he pressed Billy down, his right fist continuously pounded against Billy’s face. But it wasn’t long before Billy managed to push Rex off of him as Billy swung at Rex.
I moved forward but felt a force push me back. I spun and watched as Rob held onto me. “Leave them, they need to do this.” He urged.
In one swift motion I shoved Rob aside. “Are you fucking crazy, they’ll kill each other.” I charged towards Rex and Billy. “Fucking stop this!” I screamed as I tried to pull Rex away, with no luck at all.
Just then, Tom moved into them as he grabbed them both and shoved them aside. “Alright, you guys have made your point.” He said sternly.
Billy stumbled backwards. Blood had gushed from his nostrils as he wiped it with the back of his hand. Whilst, Rex’s left eye had begun to swell. I grabbed onto Rex’s arm as I tried to hold him back. “You’re still out of the fucking band.” Billy heaved before he stomped off.
Tom shook his head as he turned to me. “Just give him a few days to cool off, alright. He’ll come around.”
I closed my eyes and nodded, before I watched as Tom stalked off. Rob lingered awkwardly and said, “I’ll see you around, I guess...”
“Oh, I’m so sorry.” It was Scarlet’s turn to speak.
“It’s not your fault.”
“But it is… I should have called you first.”
I shook my head. “You were trying to do something nice,” I reassured her, then added, “plus, this secret was bound to get out eventually.”
Scarlet stared at me with regret in his eyes, as she was practically on the verge of tears. “Is there anything I can do?”
I shook my head. “We’ll be alright.”
“Well, I’ll leave you two alone. Call me, okay?” She said, as she held my hand.
“Yeah.” I responded, as Scarlet walked off, closing the door behind her. I turned to Rex and slapped him on the arm. “Don’t you ever do that again!”
Rex stumbled to the couch as he slumped down and sighed. He gently touched his eye and hissed. “I didn’t mean to scare you like that.”
I sighed, and stepped towards Rex as I softly rested my hand on his shoulder. “I’m grateful you stood up for me… but maybe next time do it so that you won’t end up with a black eye.”
He scoffed. “Fuck, yeah there goes my modelling career.”
“Only you can laugh about this right now.” I said.
“It’s a concussion.”
“Oh my god, don’t even joke about that.”
He smirked. “Sorry.”
I smiled and shook my head again. “I’ll get you some ice.”
—---
The weight had lifted off from my shoulders, and it seemed as if I was finally able to inhale the whiff of the freedom now that Rex and I didn’t have to hide. The secret had been pulling us down, and drowning us, that now, it almost seemed too good to be true, that we no longer had to creep behind the shadows. Remaining in the boxy Fotomat kiosk or drive an hour to a beat up diner, just to be together.
The following evening Rex and I had decided to pay a visit to Park Plaza. Upon arrival at the movie theater, I experienced the whiff of buttery popcorn infused with the roasted smell of hot dogs sold from the counter. The muggy and dirty mustard brown color of the carpet beneath me which seemed to stick to the soles of my shoes as I stalked across it. A crowd of people had already formed in the movie theater, as we navigated our way through them.
We had settled on watching Risky Business, not that it was Rex or mine’s cup of tea. Whilst I tended to favor such movies like The Evil Dead, we didn’t necessarily care what sort of film we were watching. After all, we had planned to make out for the entire duration of it.
Rex’s arm wrapped around me as we took our seats right in the back row of the movie theater. We watched as people took their seats, so far it appeared that Rex and I had our own row to ourselves, which I prayed would remain that way.
I turned to face Rex, and inspected his eye, which was still bruised. “How’s your eye?”
“Stings like a bitch, but I’ll live.”
“Want me to kiss it better?” I smirked.
He released a low chuckle. “I wouldn’t say no.”
All of a sudden, the lights went low and the images flashed across the screen. Rex shifted in his position as his arm tightened around me. I pressed my leg against him, before I shifted in my position, as I ran my bare leg up against him. He released a low breath, as his fingers traced across my leg and up to my thigh as he gently stroked it up and down, then down and up.
Then, I lowered my leg back down as I edged closer towards him, and turned to face him, as my hand traced across his chest. He wore a white button down shirt with the top few buttons undone, as my fingers trailed along his chest hair. He flinched, as he felt the tingling sensation.
With his hand he caressed my shoulder, as his fingers curled onto the strap of my tank top. I felt his touch slowly edge downwards as he stroked the side of my breast, my breathing quickened as I remained motionless. Then, his hand draped across my chest as he gently cupped my breast, before his fingers traced across my nipple.
Rex’s gaze jumped to mine as he appeared to be startled, the realization had struck him that I wasn’t wearing a bra.
I shrugged, as he smirked. His fingers gently pinched at my nipple through the fabric, as I felt them harden beneath his touch. I released a moan, as his hand continued to fondle them, before he did the same to my other breast. Meanwhile, my hand slowly slithered down his body as I lingered above his crotch as I began to stroke him.
He shifted in his position, and I watched as he squirmed. I enjoyed seeing him like that, as my hand went up and down, then down and up.
Suddenly, in the distance a figure stalked past us, fearing that they may catch upon what Rex and I were doing. The man walked past us without batting an eye, but the adrenaline pumped through my veins.
Rex exhaled, as his hand now slipped underneath my tank top as he continued to squeeze and pinch my nipples.
I released a sigh, and felt the wetness slowly form between my legs, as I found myself wanting Rex. Images from our previous night together flashed across my mind. The way his mouth had pleasured me, and the way he thrusted inside me.
Desire rose over me, as I craved to touch Rex, my fingers hooked into the waistband of his jeans, but to my dismay he took my hand and raised them to his mouth as his lips pressed down onto my knuckles. He drew closer towards me as he planted a kiss on my lips, whilst his other hand remained beneath my shirt.
Then, I felt his fingers dance across my thigh as he guided my legs apart. My chest heaved and my jaw clenched as I knew where this was headed. Rex placed his fingers against my entrance as he began to massage the area in circular motions, then I felt him push aside the fabric of my underwear as he slowly slipped two his fingers inside of me.
I released a gasp, then hurriedly covered my mouth. As I heard the aggressive shushing sound from a viewer in the movie theater.
Rex smiled at me deviously as he lowered his head to the side of my neck and planted several kisses, before he drew back. His fingers still inside of me as he drew them in and out, then out and in again. At first his speed was slow, before he began to increase his pace. The wetness covered his fingers as he continued to thrust them inside of me. My hand gripped onto the edge of the arm rest, I pressed my lips together hoping to repress the sounds that I wanted to make.
I continued to writhe beneath his touch, and knew that at this moment I belonged to Rex. The desire he had held over me.
Rex’s fingers paused as I felt his thumb caress over my clitoris, as he massaged it in circular motions. I quivered beneath his touch, as he removed his fingers from inside of me, suddenly, I felt his fingers caress my entrance as he went up and down. Before he slid them back inside of me again, as he continued to thrust faster and faster.
I felt my legs shake, and my back arched. My hand gripped down onto the back of his neck, and then tugged onto his hair, as he lowered himself towards me and planted a kiss on my lips. My lips parted as I felt his hot tongue slide between my lips, as I pressed my tongue against his. His fingers continued to slide in and out of me, as I climaxed, his fingers covered in my wetness.
I heaved, as I tried to catch my breath. Slowly, Rex removed his fingers from me as he lifted his hand and placed his fingers into his mouth, and smirked at me.
Moments later, Rex and I left the movie theater as we followed the herd of people.
“Dude, that movie was awesome.” A guy with a bad mullet and a patchy beard in front of us, had said to his friend beside him.
Rex’s arm wrapped around me as he lowered his head to mine. “I think what we did was ten times better.”
I smirked. “Definitely.”
We stalked out of the movie theater, not having a clue about the movie we had supposedly paid to see. The moment we had reached the lobby, I wrapped my arms around Rex’s neck as I tiptoed and pressed my lips against his. He returned and deepened the kiss, as he placed his hands on each side of my hips, then trailed them along my waist.
“Jeez, get a room.” A voice said.
I drew away from Rex, as I watched two girls with high ponytails and flashy neon outfits stalk past us.
“Bite me.” I retorted. The girl shot me a dirty look before they stomped off. I returned my attention to Rex and smiled, “where were we?” I asked.
He chuckled, as he drew his face closer to mine and kissed me once again. In the distance, on the wall behind Rex, something caught my attention.
“Hang on.” I said, as I removed myself from him, and he groaned.
I drew closer towards the yellow poster and tore it away from the wall, then lifted it up as I inspected the words across it.
The familiarity of the logo suddenly clicked in my mind, as rage immediately consumed me.
“What’s wrong?” Rex asked. I held the poster to him as he took it from my hands, his eyes widened. “Shit.” He muttered beneath his breath.
“The band is looking for a new bass player. Billy’s replacing me.” I cursed.

We'll Meet Again (Part 4)
Rex Brown x Female Reader
Summary: You and Rex have decided to continue this relationship despite all odds. But the problem is... secrets always have a way of coming out...

Tumblr media
My finger rested upon the bridge of my black shades. I groaned, feeling like a fucking asshole for having shades on at night, but anything I could possibly find to conceal my face.
I had managed to rummage a beat up diner which was about an hour away from town, where I parked outside and awaited Rex's arrival. I peered down at my wristwatch, and pulled a face as he was a couple of minutes late and I grew worried.
Sneaking around with Rex certainly hadn’t been easy, we lived in such a small town where everyone just knew each other, that it was impossible to step outside without running into someone. Often, we had managed to hang out at the Fotomat kiosk after hours, but that place was about one square foot, we could hardly even extend our legs straight.
Just then, in the distance I recognized Rex’s car as he pulled into the parking lot, as he halted beside my car. I took off the shades and flung them onto the dashboard, as I removed myself from the car.
“Sorry I’m late,” he said as he ran his fingers through his hair and walked around his car to join me. “I ran into Vinnie when I was filling up the car, and he was going the same direction I was. I ended up having to drive to Plano before I circled back.”
“Oh my god.”
“It’s cool,” he said, before he planted a kiss on my lips.
“Well, I doubt anyone will find us in this shithole.”
Rex’s gaze drifted over the diner, which was in a metallic trailer, with rust forming at the bottom. The concrete on the parking lot was covered in cracks, with broken bottles and old tires scattered around.
“If they do come here, then they’re psychos.” Rex commented.
I chuckled. “Come on.” I said, as Rex wrapped his arm around me and we made our way towards the diner.
The moment we stepped over the threshold, the whiff of cigarette smoke and burnt coffee filled the room. There were about three people scattered in the boxy diner, as Rex and I took a booth seat near the window.
Briefly, I placed my hands on the table before I realized the stickiness on the red checkered vinyl tablecloth and pulled a face, immediately retreating. Rex took the seat opposite me, but it wasn’t long until bits of debris from the ceiling descended upon him. He flinched, before he got up and sat beside me.
Just then, a woman in her fifties emerged, she had salt and pepper short hair, and wore a baby blue dress with a name tag just on the left side of her chest which read, Ruth. Lines had formed across the edges of her eyes and just adjacent to her mouth. A faint layer of black eyeliner was painted across her eyelids, but was covered with a pair of gold framed spectacles.
A cigarette hung just between her lips and she placed two laminated menus before us.
“You kids just tell me when you’re ready to order.” She announced, before she stalked off.
“Friendly service.” I commented.
A twinge of a smile formed on Rex’s mouth before we inspected the menus before us. “There’s a lot of typos on these menus.”
“Or do you really think they have mobster soup?”
Rex chuckled. “I’m dying to try out the ultimate crap burger.”
“The menu is very seafood based.”
“I wouldn’t get seafood from a place like this. You’d be shitting all week.”
I pursed my lips. “Probably the safest option is just to get some fries and cokes?” I suggested.
Rex shrugged. “That sounds good,” he spun and raised his hand, “excuse me!”
Within seconds, Ruth returned to our table. Her piercing eyes seared a burning hole into us, and I averted my stare. “Could we just get two plates of fries and two cokes please?”
“Alright.” She responded in an emotionless tone, before she turned away again.
“So how are things going with the new album?” I asked.
“It’s good… the old man is gonna book us on a tour soon.”
“That sounds like fun.”
“Yeah, thirteen hours stuck on the road with a bunch of guys in a tiny tour bus, I can’t wait.” Rex said sarcastically.
“Well, still you get to tour,” I commented and flipped a strand of my hair away from my face, “my mom’s just been badgering me about why I’m constantly sitting around the house.” I said, and then immediately regretted it. I shook my head, “sorry- you don’t need to hear me whine.”
“No, no.” He reassured me. “I’m just glad we’ve finally got some alone time together.”
“That, for sure.”
“I’ve missed you though.” He said as he nudged closer towards me, his arm wrapped around me.
“Same. Band practice has just been intense these days.” I explained, trying not to utter Billy’s name.
“Well we’ve got all the time now.” He said, before he lowered his head and planted a kiss on the side of my neck.
I giggled.
Rex continued to leave a trail of kisses, before I turned and our mouths found each other. My lips parted and he slipped his tongue into me. Then, I felt Rex’s hand graze against my bare thigh.
I moaned into him, he drew back. His face was only a mere inch away from me. “I’ve been waiting all week for this.” He breathed, as I felt his hot breath caress my skin.
Slowly, his hand found its way under my skirt. I held my breath, as my heart pounded against my chest. He smirked, as his fingers hooked into the elastic waistband of my panties. My mind raced, as I could only predict what was going to happen.
All of a sudden, Rex paused, his fingers lingered on the waistband. “Can I?” He asked, his tone was low and soft.
I nodded, unable to conjure up the words.
His hand gripped onto my thigh as he guided them open allowing him access, then he pressed his fingertips over my entrance as he began to massage the area, going in circles through the fabric.
I was suddenly very conscious about the fact that there was only a tablecloth that acted as a barrier underneath our unvirtuous act. Yet at that moment, I couldn’t care less, being utterly possessed with desire and passion, I allowed Rex to do as he pleased with me.
Rex’s fingers continued to go in circular motions as he increased the speed. My breathing quickened, and I gripped onto the edge of the table, trying hard to not squirm. A devious smile flashed across Rex’s face, as he watched me with desire filled in his eyes.
My breathing quickened, as Rex fastened his pace, his hand continued going in circular motions against me. Then, his fingers went up and down, and down and up as he continued to stroke my entrance and I felt the wetness down below.
“Oh god,” I moaned.
“Shh. Try to keep it down baby, we are in public after all.” He teased.
I threw my head back, as my hand continued to grip down onto the edge of the table, as I slowly allowed myself to be lost in the pleasure. Just then, my gaze drifted over towards the window where I recognized two familiar faces.
I gasped.
Rex stared at me in bewilderment. “Shit! It’s Billy!”
“What?” He asked in confusion.
Rex retreated his hand as he got up. “No! Billy’s coming in, he’ll see you.” I yelled, as the adrenaline began to course through me. “Hide under the table.”
“Fuck man.” He muttered as he slid down underneath the table.
Billy stepped into the diner, immediately his eyes locked with mine. He cocked his head to the side as he approached my table. “Hey.” He asked.
“Hey, what’s up? I’m surprised to see you here.”
Billy stuttered. “Yeah- hmm, I was just in the neighborhood,” he answered, as a small petite blonde girl joined him.
My eyes narrowed at the resemblance she bore with someone. Suddenly, realization struck me. “Aren’t you Tom’s sister?” I asked, as I pointed at her.
The girl averted her gaze and Billy cleared his throat. “Yeah… she is, we ran into each other and we got a bit hungry.”
At that moment, Ruth stepped towards my table as she set down the tray which contained two plates of fries and two cokes, before she stalked off.
Billy raised an eyebrow. “I’m really hungry too.” I commented.
“Uh-huh.” He said.
All of a sudden, I lurched forward as I felt Rex’s hand on my entrance, as he moved in circular motions again.
Billy’s brows furrowed. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah.” I squealed, as I tried my best to repress the thoughts and control myself.
“Well, we’re just gonna eat and then we’ll be outta here… I’d rather you didn’t say anything to Tom.” Billy said, as he stared deep into my eyes.
“Of course.” I said between gritted teeth.
Once Billy and the girl had stalked off, I patted underneath the table cloth trying to motion Rex to stop. We were trapped here like rats.
I waved at Ruth as I tried to grasp for her attention. She pulled a face and dragged her feet towards me.
“Yes?” She asked in a monotone voice.
“I will literally give you ten bucks if you can help us get outta here without that guy over there seeing us.” I said to her in a low tone, as I carefully pointed behind me.
Ruth’s eyes narrowed at me. “I’ll open up a table cloth and you and ya boy can run off.”
“Oh my god, thank you so much.”
“It’s not my first time doing this.”
“What?”
Ruth smirked. “This place. It’s where all the cheaters or couples who can’t be seen come to.”
I felt my cheeks flush. I slammed down the money onto the table, as Ruth returned with a tablecloth as she opened it up creating a safe haven for Rex and I to escape.
—---
The moment I returned home, I threw my jacket angrily on the couch, as I stalked towards the kitchen and proceeded to make myself a PB&J sandwich. After the disaster that had unfolded at the diner earlier, I was in no mood.
In the distance, I heard the thudding sounds of footsteps, as I cocked my head to the side and watched as my mom emerged.
“Hey, what are you doing back home so early? I thought you were gonna stay over at Scarlet’s.” My mom inquired. Something I had made up and told my mom earlier.
I groaned. “Yeah, Scarlet bailed.” I lied.
“Oh.”
My gaze drifted over towards the suitcase that had sat beside the couch. “What is that?” I asked, as I gestured towards the suitcase.
“I’ve gotta go to Vermont for a few days, it’s a work thing.”
My eyes widened, as I tried to remain cool, repressing the temptation to jump up into the air. “Oh, that’s sudden.”
“Yeah, I fly in the morning.” My mom said, then added, “well, I’m gonna go to bed now. You don’t stay up too late,” she ordered, “I’ve also made a batch of stew and put them in the freezer, I don’t want you loading up on pizza whilst I’m gone.”
“Of course, thanks mom.”
“Alright, be good.” She said as she stepped towards me and placed a kiss on my cheek before stalking off.
Not able to contain my excitement any longer, I lunged towards the phone in the living room and dialed in the number to the Abbott house.
After several rings, a familiar voice answered.
“Rex.” I said.
