that guy is so cool
âI am well aware of this.â Huey had his Woodchuck scout group, Dewey had his multitude of friends from the neighborhood and school, and Louie? Louie just had his brothers. More specifically, he just had Dewey.Â
âDoes my only friend have something nice to say to me?â

â lookâ donât you get it? i screwed up! â (Dewey)
There you go, poetry. | @rewriteshistory |
Thereâs a serious pause, then Scrooge beckons the young one over with his hand. âAright, come here. Teaching uncle moment.â Or whatever he should call it. He waits a moment before setting his hand down on Deweyâs shoulder.Â
âLad, this is naeâ thâ end of thâ world. Trust me, weâve seen what that looks like by nao. If we never screwed up, we would never learn anythinâ. What ye can take away from this is how much keepinâ secrets hurts thâ people around ye.â He pauses. âYe know thâ way ye felt about my secrets, donât let that happen taeâ thâ people ye love.â

âYou did,â the elder mused, and green eyes studied their surroundings. It looked as though a âdominoâ effect had occurred in his internet show studio. She wondered if all of his shows we as eventful, and made a mental note to find and watch a few past ones later.
âBut it was impressive.â Dewey occasionally reminded her of a much younger, more reckless Scrooge. Considering that, she had no reason to pretend the trait bothered her.

The duckling looks up at the face pats, and laughes in that peeping sort of way sheâll probably outgrow. And then she hugged him to return to affection! Because that is only fair.

@rewriteshistoryâ cf
Thatâs what all the grown-ups always said. How did they always know what he was planning before even he knew it sometimes? Especially considering how many of his master plans were completely improvised. It was like Grandma had had years of practice looking after mischievous ducklings or something.
âNot always. There was the time with the goat, remember?â Of course, in retrospect, that scheme seemed less like heâd finally managed to pull one over on Grandma, and more like she let himself get into trouble to teach himself a lesson or build character or something.
âNanny is a sweet old girl. I knew she wouldnât hurt you.â Yes. Elvira was very aware of that mess before it happened. But over the years sheâs learned to pick her battles.
She sets a hand down on Deweyâs head ans ruffles his hair. âYour grandpa Quackmore pulled that same stunt when he was just about your age. Thought it would get him out of doinâ his chores.â

Send đ± To Find Out About My Muse's Phone | NO LONGER ACCEPTING |
What ringtone my muse has set for yours: Stand Out - Powerline
What contact photo my muse has set for yours:
What my muse thinks of the way yours texts: Max has trained in the art of deciphering Deweyâs emojis. Dewey will sometimes just send him a bunch of emojis or memes or a video of a vine/tik tok and Max will be able to tell what he means in a second.
How quickly my muse responds to your texts: fairly quickly. If theyâre already talking Max will respond almost immediately after Dewey. If a text goes unanswered for a while he either fell asleep or he forgot.
How often our muses text: often!!! almost every day! if they donât see each other, theyre texting. If Deweyâs on an adventures with good bars, they try to text.
How often our muses call: not so much call-calling, but they face time, itâs easier to voice call that way.
Does my muse purposefully miss calls from yours: nooooooo!!! even if he was made at Dewey for some reason, heâd say sometimes like âhey i just need a bit, iâll get back to youâ heâd never leave him hanging on purpose.Â
Last text sent from my muse to yours: [in response to Deweyâs âWhen Momâs not homeâ vine] Iâll be there in 15 minutes. Donât eat all the snacks without me.

Kiki! Look! Itâs me!
âOoohh, yeah, gooosh. I guess we could get in trouble if we didnât have a multi-point plan that covers every single one of our options.â Louie sighed deeply, picking up a flashcard and handing it to his brother.
âStep number one; act like you belong and you will belong. We just have to act like weâre supposed to be here. Donât look so nervous. Just ... relax.â

Iâll start at the beginning, with the house.
âSeems like it.â Max never thought their cooky and weird family friends would have so many dark secrets buried under the surface. He leaned over Deweyâs shoulder, looking at the mass of papers in his friendâs hands.Â
âI mean, how did you not know any of this stuff? I lost my mom too, but everyone knows how she died.â Car accident, it happened to the best of them. âBut Dad talks about her when I ask. How did you never know a single thing about her?â

Goodbye, ghosts. I love you. | @rewriteshistory |
Louie quickly took the moment his brother was talking to reach up and grab onto his cheek feathers, snuffing out the last tiny flame that clung to him. He was never going to grow whiskers if he kept this up.
âPlease, oh my God, I need nachos.â

âWhere have you been? Everybody thought you were dead.â (Dewey @ Louie)
I have been falling, for thirty minutes! | @rewriteshistory |Â
âWell, thatâs because Llewelyn Duck died ⊠psshhh probably ten years ago.â The pirate sat in one of the chairs in the cargo part of his plane, which he had turned into a makeshift living area. He had an ice pack placed on his head, after all these years his brother could still pack a nasty punch. Louie drummed his free hand against the arm of his chair, taking a deep breath before sighing.
âLook, Iâve - Iâve been places. Millie and I ran away, that much you know. Weâve been here and there and ⊠finally we settled here.â He didnât want to get into the grimy details. âHey, you put up a pretty good fight for that treasure back here.â He leaned back in his chair, placing a hand behind his head. âHow about we split it and go on a merry ways? Pretend we never saw each other?â

@rewriteshistoryâ cont.
Nervous eyes went down to the map that he held within his shaking hand. Oh, this wasnât right at all, he couldâve sworn they were on the right path. He really tried this time. Like, really, really tried! Now there was no path beneath their feet and Louie was getting really worried. But it was okay! Dewey was there and Dewey would aways --
His usual ... fit? Almost every ounce of fear in Louieâs system dissolved into anger as he lifted his fist and collided it with Deweyâs shoulder.Â
âUsual fit!? Whatâs that supposed to mean?!â A finger jabbed against his brotherâs chest. âYou think youâre SOO brave, donât you? You think youâre so good at adventuring? Well here!â He shoves the map into Deweyâs hands before putting his hands in his pockets. âYou get unlost yourself.â He then put his hands into his hoodie pockets, turned his back to his brother and huffed off in the other direction.

âAw, come on, Dewey. Millie lets me braid and decorate her hair.â A lie. An absolute lie. Not that she doesnât let him, heâs just never asked before. âI guess MIllie just likes me more than you do. Oh well, Iâll go to her instead.â
