listen i LOVE rotating bastila and revan and their weird funky life-force-bond and i want them to be literally intertwined but NOT necessarily romantically.

however.

their kid becoming chancellor of the republic is so fucking funny to me. can you picture his campaigning and how everyone is trying so hard to like, dig up dirt on his family or whatever. the fucking Scandal of it all.

Well, if first it was supposed that Carth, according to the game writers and cut content, could redeem fem Revan, and after that they died hand in hand at the Star Forge, then here's my ending: Revan (probably, 'grey' Revan) convinces Malak to reject the Dark Side and they escape together on one of the Star Forge's ships before the station is completely destroyed. Nobody is even aware of it, redeemed Revan is considered a hero who died for the Republic/ or otherwise - maybe only a few people know the whole amnesiac Revan's story, and redeemed Bastila is declared the hero who 'defeated' Darth Malak...

P.S. The name of a possible short fic based on the story could be Presumed Dead.

see one the big reasons i think the revan novel is horseshit is that you know the minute revan and malak so much as caught a wiff of vitiate and dormund kaas they would've snitched. we're really expected to believe that they wouldn't rub the fact they found a super evil sith out there in the jedi council's face? that they wouldnt've used that to feed the propaganda machine and do a soft military coup and take over the galaxy to defend it?

musing on my “revan trained tarre vizsla” au train

tarre has funky green / red eyeballs because something something taung ancestry.  he’s also a solid foot and a half taller than revan (then again.  revan is like 5′2, so it all balances out. the bendu, if you will)

90% of their relationship is revan saying something and tarre being like “what the kriff how do you know all this”

Hey, I read your post about the Revan novel and thought your opinion was very interesting. Have you read the Annihilation novel which is also written by Karpyshyn? Wanted to get your opinion on that.

i am so sorry to this anon, it's been nearly 8 months since you asked me this and i kept getting distracted and forgetting to respond! i haven't actually read Annihilation, and i don't plan to, honestly; it doesn't have the draw of starring characters i find interesting like Scourge, and Karp's star wars writing is too bad for me to really be interested in reading another of his novels.

Call me radical but tbh I only take KOTOR1 as gospel. Everything else is supplementary and optional. Yes this includes KOTOR2, much as I love it. Some things in there I would rather ignore. Also love the Zayne Carrick comics but like they also feel like a supplemary spinoff to me that contradicts some of the original game in vibe if not details but that's a rant for another day. Star War legends my beloved mess. Nothing is canon nothing matters so everything matters??
