Tokyo Revengers isnt as good as people make it out to be, DONT GET ME WRONG, the characters are amazing!! The opening is fire!! The manga is good!! But the overall plot of the anime isnt really good, a lot of people would make it an S tier anime, I know its all opinionated but I think its a solid B Tier.

Like the art is good and all but if we looked at the plot as a whole, then it doesnt really make sense for the world Tokyo Rev is set in. A guy goes back in time a few times and meets a bunch of gangster middle schoolers???

If they were in high school then maybe it could pass. No offense to my boy Draken, but how tf you 6'1 and a middle schooler with a tattoo and your grew up in a brothel?? Shouldnt you be like 5'4??? Did you fail a few times my guy???

Hopefully this doesnt come across as hate but I just want to know your opinion on the anime. I know you have Shuji Hanma and stuff, but how do you feel about the anime as a whole? Im just curious :)

idk i kinda like the plot bc time travel stuff rly makes you think you know ?? like is it gonna end in one of those “you can’t change the past, so you gotta accept it and move on” type of ways or is it actually gonna have a happy ending that everyone desired or is it gonna have a completely unexpected plot twist and it kind of makes you think about all the possibilities instead of just a “here’s a bad guy plotting something and here’s the good guy trying to get strong and beat him�� it’s like more complicated than that

idk i like it bc a lot of the characters have their own desires they want in the outcome of the new future and takemichi is such a dependable character like he rly is trying to make it a good future for everyone not just him and his gf and i think he’s a rly likable main character

but it’s not for everyone i get you but idk i feel like it’s rly good bc i’m super attached to the characters so each death literally makes me long for death and i feel like that’s what i look for in a decent anime or manga like minor character deaths in mha didn’t hit me as hard as minor character deaths in tr — and i don’t rly look at realisticness of plot too deeply like that bc a superhuman society popping out of nowhere in mha doesn’t make all the much sense either but i just enjoy it anyway lol
