Edward has been working so hard!  He has 5 in all areas, aside from the 3 in toilet training!  Go Eddie! Anise is really felt a sense of accomplishment when Peter returned from the hospital shattered and Edward began to “Ask Why?”

WinterFest is here!  Ivy decided it was an excellent occasion to try to paint a family portrait!  Anise announced to absolute shock and horror that she is expecting twins!  The triplets were adorable.  Everyone was really pleased to see Flora and Rye in good spirits living with Willow, Pixie, and Nyan.  Sadly Poppy’s family were double booked, but we’re hoping to see them at Lavender’s NYE party.

Anise feels like she has finally cracked this stay-at-home mother thing!  She’s set up a knitting/play room in Jacob’s old studio and is even making a little pin money on plopsy.  Now that Elizabeth and Catherine are verging on completing their final skill Anise is finding motherhood much easier and she’s looking forward to helping with homework when they start grade school.

SomEtiMeS aLL The aDUltS nEeD to EAt oUtSide aT OnCe.  Seriously toddler triplets is a lot.  When Lavender came over the whole gang decided to relocate to the freezing cold garden for dinner.

Anise is finding this stay-at-home mum lark in her early twenties pretty trying.  Elizabeth is all sweetness and light in her Jemima Puddleduck nightie, but that child sure knows how to say, “no”.  But once she got in the bath she had a whale of a time!

Willow hosted HarvestFest this year.  She recently took in Rye and Flora as they are of a similar age to Pixie and Nyan.  Things were getting fraught at the original Rettig Residence with the triplets now toddlers, and the siblings slowly moving out.  With Poppy and Lavender’s departures it became clear that an adult was needed for Flora and Rye.

Following her mother’s death Poppy moved with her High School Sweetheart to Sulani.  She has feeling rather put upon at home with 3 of her younger siblings still not grown, and 3 nieces and nephews demanding constant care.  She didn’t get pregnant and 16 and she certainly wasn’t hanging about to clean up anyone else’s mess.  She and Madeline moved into a little house on the beach and are making it into their home.  Madeline surprised Poppy with a proposal and they had a marvellous wedding with the whole family at their sea front home.

Despite the passing of their mother the Rettig children put on a brave face to celebrate WinterFest.

Ivy has taken up portrait painting.  Here are some of the moments she has captured.  

1. Willow and her twins (Pixie and Nyan) have since moved out, but Willow drops by for a chat with her sisters. 

2. Flora having a creative think. 

3. Anise getting to grips with being a High School drop out and teen mother

4. Sage and Rye enjoying some quiet time in the studio

Willow and Leo had a fully blown out white wedding with all the family.  You might be able to spot toddler Rye and Flora and child Strummer lurking in the background.  Sage couldn’t say she approved of the match but she got on well with Leo’s mother and wasn’t keen for her daughter to be left raising the baby as she herself had been left to raise her first-born.

Willow had a whirlwind romance immediately on ageing up into a young adult.  Leo Palmer popped the question after their woohoo got a little risky...

Poor little Petal didn’t get very well documented as a baby, but here she is as a toddler.  I think you might have seen her bump at Sage and Jacbo’s wedding.
