#may-reads-ph#retrace xxxiii#this is lore within lore#ph's world-building is insane#ofc we have the unique concept of abyss and the contract and the seal#and the intricate design of chains and all the details behind their existence and that of the Will#chains is a unique way of introducing Abilities tbh#this too is an Ability driven world but contracts make it seem much more believable and since they aren't without a cost as well#but consider adding more minor details#background stuff that probably won't come up again#it does make the world so much richer and realistic
