I'm hearing news of peacocks and tigers coming out of the forests and on to the streets in Chandigarh. I'm hearing there's an immense drop in the pollution levels. I'm feeling the cool breeze in my hair as I sit in my balcony. I saw how clear the sky was last night. Even though I'm not someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, I do miss the occasional strut to the market, I do miss hanging out with my friends and I definitely miss eating food outside of the house! But maybe this lockdown is the perfect opportunity to indulge is self love and care, to get back at practicing our hobbies a little bit more, to start that blog, to revamp your closet, to make that piece of art you always wanted to, to finally play the guitar sitting in your basement, but more importantly, to think about our impact on the planet. Maybe after we recover from all this, we will take the bus instead of driving our cars everywhere, maybe we'll buy less clothes and think of newer ways to styling the old ones, maybe we will not turn on our ACs the minute the temperature rises to 25.
