i think if i make a machine girl inspired jacket i could . . .

- write quotes on the front

- probably try painting any of their album covers on the back (wlfgrl and u-void come to mind)

but i also like the idea of creating my own inspired design since i feel like their album covers have such a distinguishable style

there is also a part of me that very much wants different jackets inspired by different albums/eps. Specifically, gemini and reporpoised phantasies. pastel-dyed jacket with a fuck ton of patches and pins . . .

but all that aside, “machine-girl-inspired” can very well just be something that’s fun, wacky, and a little eccentric. that much alone is actually kind of giving me ideas !

if i make it, i will most likely post it, but i doubt i’ll make it any time soon (completely booked with schoolwork…)

hello hello!! i discovered your site recently and saw you were asking for recs!! i don't listen to a lot of DnB specifically but i do listen to a lot of hardcore breaks which is a very closely related genre! My recs are: bye2, machine girl (specifically gemini,wlfgrl, and reporpoised phantasies, their other albums are digital hardcore which is awesome too but might not be your thing), casper mcfadden, and golden boy :D

thank you very much!!! i went ahead and listened to bye2's metamorphose and it was pretty cool though i found that while pretty neat to listen to, its not exactly my thing. but still i found bye2's work pretty interesting and there were some songs i did really like (Injection V Slug Pharmacy, PuyoPuyoPuyyo, Infinite Isopod) so i will be listening to their other releases eventually :D

and previously to this ask, i had listen to machine girl's wlfgrl! and i pretty much had the same reaction 😭 not exactly my thing but still a pretty cool listening experience. BUT i will say that i do really love their work on the neon white OST. That type of style would be something a bit more closer to what im looking for i'd say!

but thanks a ton for the recs nonetheless!! even if it isnt my cup of tea, i still like listening to them cus it helps me identify and learn more about subgenres im not very familiar with. bye2 was a very fun discovery and i'll def check out the other two artists at some point as well! yay music!!!!! peace and love on planet earth
