Hi! I’m Dani, and welcome to my blog :D

Currently, I’m obsessing over BTD, TPOF, and Ren Hana from both games.

But! I also adore TCM, HOW, The Boy, John Doe, etc, and I want to write for them in the future.

Currently writing for Pleasure, Pain, and Power, an ongoing fanfic involving Ren Hana and my OC, Jasmine. While it’s a RenxOC fic, I keep her descriptions fairly vague, so it’s not hard to insert yourself instead, if you wish :)

Rant, mostly about fandom and RenMei lol

Ren x Jeanne used to not have a like, official ship name in the western fandom until my disastrous ass came to the SK fandom, stayed for a bit of a while and then leave due to me having a bad time. After that I removed all of my ren x jeanne from the sk tag on tumblr dot com and tried to keep a low profile of trying not to attract any potential antis and stayed in my little RenMei fandom corner.

But anyways I used to call them lotusmei because there was this. Person which btw I never interacted with (and stayed FAR AWAY) made me feel uhhh kinda bad?? For using the ship name RenMei at first for a while after I first joined a SK server because they were complaining about how the Japanese fandom “stole” their ship name (RenMei) and were upset because they were the 1st fan in the fandom to use that ship name for their RenxOC back in the mid early 2000s or whatever and because of them, I felt kinda bad and referred Ren x Jeanne as lotusmei for a while... Until I kept seeing even more bad history from their side, which I got really heavily annoyed and lost complete respect for them and decided to not give a flying shit anymore and decided to call RenxJeanne “RenMei” because fuck, the Japanese fandom was referring them as that so WHY not also do the same as well? Deep down I always loved that ship name when I first saw how the Japan fandom operated sooo yeaaa

Anyways from that point on I’ve kept referring the RenxJeanne ship as RenMei in 2020 up until now and I will never stop calling them as that. Though while I’ve blocked a lot of antis that were against RenMei throughout my 5 years of being hyperfixated with RenMei, it’s. Crazy that Antis are now calling RenxJeanne as RenMei. And like. I’ve tried so hard to block them first before they could ever became aware of my existence??? I try so hard to keep a low profile but they just somehow adopted that ship name and use it negatively so uh.... I feel kinda :/ about it but I guess it is what it is? Like the only fan in the fandom that mostly refers RenxJeanne as RenMei the most often is mostly me, Idk how that slipped through to antis, that’s a mystery I will never uncover on how they even find me when I’ve blocked them first a looong time ago... Unless they have a secret side account or they typed up “ren x jeanne” on google images and somehow saw my username and my nickname being named “RenMei rights” lol

"This is stupid!" the outburst sounded dangerously close to whining, and Nya couldn't help but roll her eyes at the petulant tone. Adjusting her grip on Kylo's shoulder, she fixed him with a stern gaze. "I know you don't enjoy politics, Kylo, but knowing how to present yourself to officials is as important as holding yourself properly in battle. Now, please, follow my feet. Let's start from the beginning." Restarting the music, the shorter woman resumed trying to lead Kylo in the waltz, the size difference making it hard to move properly. Not to mention Kylo's attitude interfering. "Nyavalna, I've never had to attend one of these pointless First Order piss poor excuses for a party, and I don't see why I have to go now." "Kylo, you are loyal to the Supreme Leader, correct?" "Of course I am. Do you think he cares about these things either? I can tell you right now-" "I'm not finished. You are loyal to the Supreme Leader, and wish to carry out his orders. To do so, you need the First Order's support. And for the First Order to exist, it needs funding. As annoying as these parties are, they are one of the Order's biggest sources of credits. No parties, no money, no Order, the Supreme Leader is not pleased. Do you understand?" Kylo halted suddenly, ripping his hands from Nya and turning away, fists balling at his sides. Nya blinked, frowning. "Kylo, what are you-" "Don't talk to me like that, Nya! Like I'm stupid! I know all that. I know these parties are necessary. What I DON'T understand is why I need to attend. I've never gone before. Why does that have to change!" Nya's face softened and the Chiss woman rested a gentle hand on his arm, urging him to turn her way again. He followed her prompting, but his gaze remained hard and averted. Softly, she spoke, "I know you're not stupid, Kylo. I'm sorry I sounded so patronizing. I'm frustrated as well. Not with you, with this whole event." She smirked lightly, squeezing his arm. "I think they're stupid too." Kylo finally looked back at her, his tense muscles relaxing a bit, fists unclenching. "You- you don't have to go, not if you really don't want to. I'll find a way to get you out of it. And I don't need a date." She smiled weakly, before adding, "Or perhaps the General will be my date. It's not like he can go with his choice-" Just the mention of Hux's title made Kylo bristle, and Nya gasped in shock as he roughly grabbed her, pulling her closer to him than before. Much to her amazement, he began moving with the music, copying her earlier steps almost perfectly. "Kylo-?" she started, but was cut off with a rough growl, "I am not going to let you be his date, Nyavalna. He doesn't deserve to lay eyes on you." Nya couldn't help but laugh, but the sound was soft and sweet, not mocking. Still, Kylo furrowed his brow. "Well, I wasn't aiming for this change in attitude, but I'll take it. Still, I'll go alone if you'd like-" she leaned up, kissing his tight brow until it softened, resting back on her feet. They were no longer dancing, once more distracted, but this time, neither minded. "No, I want to go. I want to go with you." Finally, Kylo was smiling, leaning down to return Nya's kiss, lips pressing to her forehead. "Besides, it'll give me a chance to show Hux just how refined I can be. I know he thinks me an animal. I intend to prove him otherwise." His rare smile was playful and lopsided, and Nya couldn't help but kiss the corner of his mouth. "We'll leave everyone speechless." She released his hands, satisfied with the results of his dancing lessons. Instead wrapping her arms around his neck, she was shocked to find him grip her waist, moving her gently, the song changing to something slower. Red eyes slipped closed, and she rested her head on his shoulder as they slow danced. "You're quite the dancer, Kylo Ren." As he responded, Nya could hear the adoration in his voice, "You'd be surprised what I could do with the right partner."
