What to visit in Formentera?

As we said, Formentera is not only known for its sunny beaches but also as a place with centuries-old traditions.

Starting with La Savina, a small port village located in the northern part of the island. This is the real gateway to Formentera as it is the destination for ferries from Ibiza. Not far away are located the characteristic salt lake of Estany Pudent and the beaches of Illetes, Es Cavall d’en Borras, and Platja de Llevant.

The capital of the island of Formentera is Sant Francesc Xavier, a town of about 1000 inhabitants.
