How I imagine different Sonic characters would play Minecraft
Sonic:
Speedrunner, he speedruns everything that is possible to speedrun. He has 172 worlds and all of them have less than half an hour of play time. On multiplayer, he blows out two totems per session.
Shadow:
Refuses to play on Creative mode because it's 'cheating'. Will strip mine for about four hours at a time, build a giant deepslate fortress, and call it a starter base.
Espio:
Terrible at PVP despite having a worrying number of hours on Hypixel. Great at parkour, makes extremely pointless and convoluted redstone contraptions in Creative mode. Has a glass house filled with jeb_ sheep.
Silver:
Plays a bootleg version of pocket edition that still has the nether reactor core, only five hotbar slots, days that last twelve hours, diamonds on all y levels, and 1x1 dark oak trees.
Tails:
Built redstone so bad that he accidentally pioneered a whole new generation of redstone techniques (see: Mumbo). Once he masters these, he will be unstoppable.
Cream:
Makes flower gardens, bee houses, pretty castles, and brutally violent mob farms.
Vector:
u/ChaotixCrocV: Minecraft Bedrock Edition is the worst game ever made. Even worse than Sonic 06.
↑•↓ +69420
Charmy:
His entire creative world is filled with rainbow beacons, towers, and dangling mobs. For some reason, amidst the chaos, there is a rather impressive floating island build that he shows to every living (or dead) thing that enters the room.
Knuckles:
He plays Minecraft on a twelve year old HP laptop with a render distance of three chunks, but claims it's just for the "fog aesthetic" and not because his PC is permanently broken. For some reason, he's really good at renovating witch huts.
Amy:
Can kill anything and everything with anything and everything. Builds pixel art and map art.
Blaze:
Can build beautiful organic structures of any mythical creature you like, and create huge towns surrounding them. Exclusively plays on Creative mode with shaders and 32-bit texture packs.
Eggman:
Eggfker69 was slain by a baby zombie
Eggfker69 was slain by a baby zombie
Eggfker69 was shot by a skeleton
Eggfker69 blew up
Eggfker69 tried to swim in lava
Eggfker69 was slain by a baby zombie
Eggfker69 left the game

Minecraft Items Challenge Attempt 2: The Pretty Scary Update Finale
I was looking through random chests to clean up my storage when I happened across an entire stack of note blocks I do not remember making, I do however remember 2 stacks of wood go missing right before I went looking for a Mushroom Island during The Adventure Update, during which I was really tired, so I must have turned them into note blocks, but I haven't the foggiest clue as to why.
I'm using the Alt+f4 duplication glitch to dupe bottles o' enchanting so I don't have to spent 10 years grinding at the slow mob farm, I am making a perfect set of diamond tools that I won't allow to break until mending is added in the Combat Update. I ended up filling nearly 4 chests with enchanted books before I got what I was looking for and put it in my ender chest.
Now I'm deleting the Region data for the Nether so I don't have to deal with awful Alpha Terrain. I actually got really lucky and my new portal is right by a nether fortress.
I made a mostly safe cobblestone path to the fortress, which in hindsight is completely pointless because quartz gets added next update so I'm going to reset my nether again.
I also made my first crafting table :*)
Here is what I will spent the next 4 hours hunting, and here is my weapon.
Here's the first skull, I entirely forgot that they started out as a 2D inventory sprite like cake and beds.
and here is four hours later, I want you to guess which two resources I will never need to look for again
I renovated my portal room, I will barely spend any time here, but now it's a bit more homey.
Here is my canvass to build a wither cage. I shall copy the one from my main world block for block.
Oh. Withers don't spawn like that yet. I need to look up a 1.4 wither cage.
Okay, I used the blockswap glitch to break some of the portal, giving me a free bedrock and the perfect roof for my cage.
Here's the new cage, you have to push the wither into the bedrock to stop it from breaking blocks, just like every wither cage, but before The Bountiful Update, you had to do that with a piston.
I mined some obsidian for beacons and other things we will need later, and then I returned to the Overworld.
I made my first beacon and put the bedrock in my ender chest.
In this post I added the Wither Skeleton Skull, Nether Star, and Beacon, completing the Pretty Scary Update.
I also realized that I never got screenshots with Shaders on since I finished the basic form of my house in 1.3, and it's going to change a lot over the next few updates, so I grabbed some screenshots of a copy of the world that I moved into 1.20
Up next is The Redstone Update, I will not be doing much redstone, if any at all

i have an art exam so i have to wait to design my psmp cc i cannot believe this anyways here’s my plan so i can call dibs on the name wetshart
-operates an underground drug ring, works exclusively from the nether
-mystery drug they share with no one, but widely believed to be shrooms
-money from the drugs was canonically used in order to fund the electric chairs electricity bill, as well as fund admiral_anus’s forces in the ravine war
-as part of the ravine war and in order to hinder the opposing side, bastardking777 (post betrayal) attempted to assassin them by leading them outside of the nether
-unknown whether they can’t leave the nether or whether they choose not to, however their appearance is similar to blazes so it’s assumed they cannot survive without extreme heat
- has a hoglin mount named pood, lives in a renovated bastion(whos whereabouts are canonically unknown to the rest of the server, as the drug lab is in a far away nether fortress)

I beat the ender dragon and found an End Ship.
I used the bed strategy to beat it. Also didn’t climb up the obsidian pillars to get rid of the crystals. Apparently I’m good enough with the bow for that.
Interesting thing is how the stronghold was just across the sea from the main fortress. It’s so near and so easy to connect to my nether network that I can show it on my map wall. I thought I had to go further to get to one. After beating the ender dragon I set forth to explore the End and found an end city. Killed all the shulkers and got to the end ship. It was worth bringing those slow falling potions. I have an elytra and a dragon head now, but I haven’t gotten the dragon egg yet. I should build a trophy room somewhere.
Next big project is renovating the storage room into the storage system I built inside the Ebony Tower on creative, but on a bigger scale. Two levels of automatic sorting and storage for most stackables, replacing the rail-based transport system with hopper conduits and a dispenser+soul soil+water item elevator from y=5 to y=60+. I’m gonna extend this room towards the south and move the furnaces elsewhere.

List of Things to Do in Vanilla Minecraft
Because me and my boyfriends tend to get lost in just how much there is that we can do I think a list like this could be good to have. None of these are in any specific order, just whatever came to mind first. Reblog and add things if you'd like!
Build a shelter of some sort. Can be expanded upon later or focused on before doing anything else.
Gather food, you'll need it if you're playing on anything but peaceful.
Find yourself some diamonds cuz everyone loves those funky blue gems
Nether portal babeyyy
Find a Nether fortress
Make a "blaze farm" of sorts in the fortress
Fight off Ghasts using only a sword or only a bow, challenge yourself if fighting them off is boring
Collect Wither skulls from Wither skeletons
Get yourself some nether wart, and soulsand to grow it on and to spawn the Wither
If you're confident or prepared(or both), you can kill the Wither now to make yourself a beacon with the nether star
Collect those ender pearls, you will need a lot of them
Prep yourself for the ender dragon fight with high tier armor
Make an enchantment table, enchant your goods! (I recommend waiting until you have 30 levels to spend and then going for those 30 level enchantments)
Because exp is a necessity for enchanting, maybe make a mob farm! There's loads of tutorials and different ways to farm mobs on YouTube
Get into potion making
Find a stronghold on the overworld
R a i d the stronghold and find that end portal
Go to the end! Fight that ender dragon! Read the end poem!
Go back to the end, collect the egg with pistons
Go to an end city
Get yourself an elytra, or two, or three, you might want a lot of them
At this point you'll probably have gone through just about all of the "storyline" stuff. There's plenty of other things to do in Minecraft though!
Find an ocean monument, collect sponges and prismarine and beat up the elder guardian so it's easier to collect it all
Find drowned villages, they have treasure maps you can follow to get hearts of the sea!
Make a conduit so underwater is a far less dangerous place to be
Find woodland mansions in dark oak forests, raid and pillage them and maybe renovate the place into a new home away from home!
Find one of each type of structure, if you've followed this list to a T you'll probs have found plenty already, but there's so many to discover!
Build individual places for each survival thing, a hut for your potion crafting, a library for enchanting, a room all for your nether portal...anything!
Collect one of each colored sheep, having a pen of them all is really pleasing
Make a ranch! Have separate pens for cows and chickens and pigs, make it fun and organized to take care of those funky dudes!
Collect one of each horse color
Learn redstone, use your redstone knowledge to make automated farms and sorting machines to make building and surviving easier
Finish all of the in game achievements!
Collect a pack of wolves, take care of them, they love you so much
Get one of each cat! Bonus points if this list is looked at after the 1.14 update and you get ocelots too.
Get one of each parrot
Collect all of the alpaca, bonus points if you collect multiple of either one type or all types and give each one a separate colored saddle and chests to make each one unique
Create an aquarium and hold all the new fish in there!
Raise turtles!
Make a home in the sky
Make a home in every biome, you can go as specific or as general as you'd like with what classifies as a different biome
Upgrade a vanilla village
Upgrade any other natural structure
If playing with multiple friends, prank them, don't grief them, but prank them
Go strip mining! Like the real strip mining, not the one we all call strip mining which is actually branch mining lol
Make your mines look pretty
Get creative with how each item can be placed and used to decorate a home, upside down stairs one right next to the other look like a little bench or table, and maps can become custom paintings if you place your blocks right
Build at a larger scale
Build at a smaller scale
Minecraft YouTubers really are the backbone of our society, so many of them have ideas and creations that can inspire you. If something isn't on this list, they might have it in a video.
#mineblr#minecraft#txt#my stuff#i mostly made this post as a sort of checklist of things me and my bfs can do in mc#but honestly this is a good post for anyone who gets overwhelmed with jut how much there is#feel free to add any of your ideas to the list!! i probably missed a lot of things#ive had this in my drafts for a while but havent added anything to it in months so here y'all go#i'll probably reblog it when i wake up tomorrow for the daytime crowd
