They quickly renovated the old farmhouse for their family of six, but there was another structure that captivated Christian: a dilapidated barn that had been left to rot since the 1950s. The Quebec couple watched as the barn slowly sank into the earth and reached the verge of collapse. Deciding they couldn’t let it go, Christian and Marie decided to restore, then transform the barn into a backyard guest house for their now-adult children.
