ORANGE THEORY WITH SKZ!

chan carefully peels your oranges without you knowing, digging into the juice-covered rind no matter the length of his fingernails to appease you. it's all worth it to him to see the way your eyes light up as you lean your body against his, warmth radiating from you.

minho is no better than chan, except for the fact that he's more discreet about it. he'd spend eons by your side peeling them if it meant being with you. he loves the way you chat with him animatedly, eagerly biting into the citrusy wedge...turning away to hide the burning tips of his ears.

changbin pretends to not know how to peel oranges. he complains that his fingers are built for lifting weights, not peeling fruit. in reality, he can peel them fine, but he just loves when you do it. the way your fingers nimbly slip under the peel, pulling it back. he always shows his gratitude through kisses all over your face, citrus on his breath.

hyunjin craves simple acts of domesticity with you. he adores every inch of you, wanting nothing more than to spoil you. he sits at the kitchen counter with you, orange rinds piled neatly upon a napkin beside him. you watch him with an adoring smile as he furrows his eyebrows in concentration, your chin resting on the upturned palm of your hand. your little life with hyunjin is so lovely.

jisung looks at you like you deserve the sky and the stars. he's always been embarrassed he can't peel his own oranges - he doesn't want to seem childish or helpless. he can't help it, though...every time he tries, his nail pierces right through the center and juice gushes out like blood from an open wound. when he admitted this to you, looking at the floor in embarrassment, you murmured a quiet "that's okay. i'll peel them for you, ji." and ever since then, he's been head over heels in love with you. (well, he always has been...it's just more prominent now!)

felix would do anything for you if you asked. you come up to him, a mauled orange laying lifeless in your hands. your lips are turned into a pout. he immediately knows what you want, setting down his phone (your most recent tiktok plays on repeat) and taking it in his own hands. his hands are tiny and lithe, and he peels the orange in no time. thankfully, the inside is safe, as all of your senseless attacks were focused at the peel. you gleefully wrap your arms around him, leaning in for a peck on the lips. maybe he should peel your oranges more often.

seungmin can put on his uninterested act all he wants, but if he really did not care for you, he wouldn't be sitting here peeling oranges for the love of his life. he has little cuts on the skin beneath his nails from picking at them, and he lets out a hiss of pain as the juices sting his skin. as if you were listening for him to make a sound, you appear almost instantaneously behind him, armed with a bandaid and a kiss to make the wound feel better. once it's wrapped, he decides to finish peeling the oranges, much to your chagrin. how else could he repay someone as perfect as you?

jeongin may tease you mercilessly for not knowing how to peel fruit, but that doesn't mean he won't peel them for you! he giggles, saying things like "this is so easy" and "how do you mess this up?" as he expertly peels the orange, separating each wedge neatly. then, he lifts one up to meet your parted lips, a warm smile upon his handsome face. "say ahh." as you open your mouth and he feeds you the orange slice, you can't help but notice his rosy cheeks. "don't ever learn how to peel anything, okay? i've got you."

minho: i can imagine he senses something is off the moment you walk through the door, eyes downcast and form droopy. he's quick to guide you to the couch, settling you down and covering you with the comfiest blanket he can find :(( he gives you a loving kiss on the forehead, his voice low and adoring.

you try and close your weary eyes, the soft purring of min's cats and the feeling of soonie gently kneading your belly is enough to pull you off into a land of solitude and melancholy dreams.

meanwhile, minho is hard at work in the kitchen, dicing vegetables and carefully tossing ingredients in a sizzling pan, making your favorite meal. the piquant scents cause you to open your eyes, and he's standing above you with a smile and a warm plate of food. looking down at you, the love of his life.

you end up falling asleep there with your homely family, head on his chest, your stomach and heart equally full.

changbin: changbin knows something's wrong when he excitedly wraps his arms around you and you collapse into them. you don't hug him back with the same intensity at all. taking your hand in his, he leads you to your shared bathroom.

he carefully cleans your face, your smeared makeup coming off easily from the tears you can't keep bottled up.

"'m sorry." you sniffle, and he uses one finger to wipe the corner of your eye, leaning in to press a soft kiss to your nose.

"don't be sorry, you didn't do anything wrong. will you let me take care of you, baby?" you hesitate, looking into his large dark eyes. if you allowed yourself to fall into the bottomless abyss inside them, you'd find the tiniest glimmer of something. and it's love. endless devotion to you.

you don't protest. not when he pulls your shirt over your head, folding it and putting it aside. not when he draws you a bath, making sure the temperature is just the way you like it. not when you're bare, your back pressed against his well-built chest as he massages your scalp and combs his hands through your hair. not when he helps you out, surrounding you in a fluffy towel and helping with your skincare routine, however strenuous it may be.

and not when you fall asleep in bed beside him, his arms wrapped tightly around you, his head in the crook of your neck. you smell like peaches and orange blossoms.

to me seungmin is so lovely - to me, he's the type of boyfriend who even if he isn't like super touchy, he is ALWAYS looking out for you. i agree with the hands thing, too. he definitely would always be right next to you, touching you in some way (the finger thing fr) he's so affectionate, even if he doesn't show it through physical intimacy. in my opinion, his love language is words of affirmation, acts of service, and quality time.

the minute that door closes though, he is a lot more touchy. maybe not like jisung, who would be flopped on top of you, i imagine him enjoying physical touch by sitting on the couch with you, arm around your waist, his face in the crook of your neck. he's so mean to the boys but all that leaves his lips when it comes to you is endless compliments and praise.

maybe it isn’t really original, but a while back i saved in my notes full-on oneshots i made in a 3 hour long flight about how some members in skz would meet their future s/o on board…?

jisung - it was just his luck. of course it had to be him, boarding a flight all by himself. there had been some schedule mixups, chan had told him, a reassuring smile on his lips as he rested one hand on jisung's shoulder. he had a photoshoot, so the other two members of 3racha would fly over the day before.

a pout crossed his face as he sat by the window, mentally going over all of his life choices up until then. did the photoshoot have to be yesterday? now, he was all alone, nothing but the fearful thoughts festering in his brain to keep him company. he didn't want to panic, it wouldn't be good. it would be downright bad. but the staff would take the open seat next to him...right?

wrong. the staff was on the other side of the damn aisle, spouting some excuse that the seat was already taken, since it was a full plane. he stared at the vacant seat, its imaginary passenger haunting his hippocampus. would they be mean? would they recognize him? what would happen?

"excuse me...is this row two, seat b?" a voice, soft and gentle, resonated in his ear. he turned to face the voice's owner, not paying them any attention.

"yeah, i'm in seat a, so- oh my god."

his jaw was dropped. you were the most gorgeous person he'd ever seen. your face, your breathtaking eyes, your supple skin, all entrancing him with minimal effort. in every lifetime, he would travel the world for even a glimpse of your ethereal beauty. his cheeks were so red he almost looked feverish, his eyes wide.

"okay, great! thank you so much, and um...could you help me with my suitcase? i've never been good at getting it into the compartment..." you grinned sheepishly, and jisung shot out of his seat like a rocket.

he was so dorky, tripping over himself as he easily lifted your luggage into the compartment. this was going to be a fun trip.
