“Um---”
Her release was being negotiated, or at least that’s what she’d been told. Galya felt the panic surge and constrict her throat, dreading----maybe they’d gotten her kids, or her parents, or someone else. Tenniel’s a smart man, he would’ve assumed the worst and moved everybody as soon as you went missing. She hoped, anyway. “If---if you can tell me, yeah.”

Does this thread of claims against Vic and others hold any water to you? I know the person running that Twitter is firmly on the KV side, and I'm not sure whether to to put any merit on them since KW Farms is involved. twitter(.)com/renfamous/status/1238509708073467904
No.
A. Between the redactions and the absolute LACK of links: I have no idea if any of this is true. I looked up the first lady in numerous ways (from just her name, to with Vic’s, to adding ‘And’, to ‘Theresa Marie funimation’ to ‘Theresa Marie Denbow Investgation’ to ‘Denbow Investigation Vic Mignonga’: nothing. Same with the second girl Elizabeth Helene. In fact, considering the results I did get, I’m more inclined to believe they’re referencing a boutique and an old French aristocrat. If you ain’t backing up your points, I ain’t buying it.
B. The Farms user and Cress is connected by a screen shot showing Cress took it and the OP assuming that the screenshot was taken by the user...even though the user never says or indicates it originates from them so the connection is flimsy at best.
C. They also try connecting Vic to Cress because he praised her and thus he must condone everything about her...even though the video shows him talking about chatting with her and about her standing up for what is right. Nothing about what is shown.
D. They try to reinforce the claim by saying because the user admitted to being on the team it HAS to be Cress...which isn’t true.
E. They say their post history is full of *insert isms here* but never shows it.
F. They continue to try and connect the user and Cress even though the connection is circumstantial at best.
G. Says Vic is encouraging people to harass and dox people even though he acted against that in the past and shows NO evidence of it (not even a screenshot like all the other shit).
H. Claims the user has the same interests as Cress (even though we never see it) and outright admits the user works with Cress on the same con (meaning no shit they’d share interests: that’s what cons are built around.)
I. They claim to have confirmed that the facebook group that the only member of the con in the group was Cress...with no proof.
J. Claims that an admin admitted that they were Cress...even though they never show it and it’s all circumstantial.
And mind you, this is all assuming Vic knows about this, which was NEVER EVEN SAID. And she also tries to call out doxing while being a part of Kiwi farms, a site based SOLELY around doxing.
So no, I don’t buy this. And if I did, it would only prove that they’re both law breakers. And I’m not gonna buy Kiwi farm’s bullshit: they are the LAST ones to claim moral superiority. They attack indiscriminately and have nothing to even point them towards bad people except their vacuous whims. Fuck, they even accused Sheena (Monty Oum’s wife) of killing him for breast implants. (No I am not kidding. https://kiwifarms.net/threads/nicole-sheena-duquette-oum.20671/).

No kid should be denied the right to see themselves as a hero or be too scared to appreciate their heroes out loud because some 45 year old fuckhead and his friends don’t want to share their toys. It’s on all of us to make sure this doesn’t happen. Let girls have heroes.
Twitter User Renfamous, basically summing up why I will forever be against ComicsGate, GamerGate and every single other group like that.

Some welcome changes for me and Lone Shark, part 3
If you read part 1 and part 2 of this mini-series on changes in my life and Lone Shark’s, you know that I resigned the presidency of the company in favor of remaining its chief creative officer. It’s a good move for me. That move creates outcomes that are worth exploring. Here’s one of them now.
PART THE THIRD: It’s about to get loud in here
Me not being president means that I don’t get to unilaterally set policies. When I changed my job title, I agreed to dynamite my most cherished policy on the way out the metaphorical door. A set of online horrorshows prompted my teammates to request a company meeting to evaluate our policy of maintaining neutrality online.
Now, if you read my political blogs and follow the actions of Lone Shark’s sister organization Basket of Adorables, you might not think of us as neutral. Depending on your views, you might in fact think of us as pretty damn mouthy. Basket of Adorables was a silly thing Gaby and I thought of to stop from screaming all the time, and it’s turned into a political rallying campaign, a comic book, a game theory book, and 40+ political game theory columns.
One positive development was that nearly all the Sharks came on board. While we keep the two groups separate on a corporate level, I’ve been delighted to see Shane managing Basket’s website and store, Liz and Skylar building new prototypes for Basket, Trevor running Basket’s Kickstarter feed, and everyone rallying around us. I think having people that are too like-minded can be dangerous, but when it’s about this administration and this time, there’s only one correct response: everybody to the battlements. We’ll keep doing what we can, including a crazy thing which we’ve been working on for a couple months.
Now, I’m not going to tell you what that is yet, because you wouldn’t believe me. It will cause your jaw to drop, I expect. You also definitely wouldn’t believe it’s from Lone Shark, and that’s because it isn’t. Basket’s first game will be like nothing I’ve ever produced. And it will have a subject matter unlike any game I’ve been associated with. Just you wait.
Tumblr media
With all that said, I want to talk about that policy of neutrality. It’s been a useful thing. We made this commitment as a team that we would not take sides when the game and entertainment industry fought amongst itself. With clients in every corner of the game and entertainment industries, we felt a Switzerland stance would help us be a friend to everyone. We worked for everyone, so everyone could always trust their friends at Lone Shark. When conflict occurs, we have a general agreement to button our lips and let it sort itself out without us.
That policy has served us well in some cases. It’s good, for example, to support our friends when they’re under attack. When we’d see something go sideways, our friends knew we weren’t going anywhere. They could count on our support even while they were dealing with the complexities of being public figures.
But that principle of neutrality failed us in many other cases. It failed our friend BJ Hensley when she reported harassment at PaizoCon. It failed our friend Jessica Price when she called out that incident and when she stood up for colleagues at ArenaNet. It failed our friend Renfamous when she took on Comicsgate, and our friends Zoë Quinn and Anita Sarkeesian when they were attacked by Gamergate, and our friend Chloe Dykstra when internet mobs attacked her over a difficult essay about a relationship. It failed our former CEO Marie Poole when she ran into an old boys’ network buzzsaw at GAMA. We expected and got our friends’ support when we stood up for what we believed, but when they did, we were often on the sidelines. Our policy meant we couldn’t move forward without all of us agreeing to do so, so if some of us wanted to speak and others didn’t, we defaulted to doing nothing.
It is not an accident that all the people mentioned in the above paragraph are women. Lone Shark’s commitment to gender diversity is one of our hallmark principles; we’re well known for having one of the most gender-diverse design teams anywhere. But when it came time to reconcile that commitment against the realities that women and transgender people face in the gamer community, we fell short. That time has come to an end.
Led by our outreach manager Trevor Kidd, we had a tension-fraught meeting where we rebuilt our policy from scratch. The main principle—that we would remain neutral when our friends disagreed—stayed in place, but would now be overridden if the situation involved a violation of one of our core values (how people of different genders and races are treated in the industry, say). In that case, every member of our team is empowered to speak out in whatever way they want, even if it is against one of our clients or colleagues. We will stand by our colleagues’ right to call out injustice wherever they see it—with the caveat that we care about getting our facts right. As long as a Shark has done the research, they’re free to speak out when their conscience demands.
This starts with me, of course. I have to teach myself to not just be willing to call out injustices when I see them committed by evil people in Washington DC. I have to train myself to speak up when my friends and people in gaming are in trouble, no matter who troubles them. Neutrality has its value. In times like these, there are higher values that need addressing.
Part the Fourth comes soon.

You know what gets me? Are these hangerons of KV. People like Dominique Sky, Armzgirl, Renfamous,Colleen Clickenbeard, the VA with the pedo for a brother, and so forth. They're all just holding on because most of them want remain relevant, Colleen because she's yet another Brutus among people that Vic thought he could trust, and the majority of them have no clue. They think MeToo is going to make them famous. I give it five days after the case ends that MeToo forgets they even existed.
Colleen is the voice of Winry right? Very disappointed in her.....

Star Wars: The Internet Reacts to Gina Carano’s Mandalorian Firing
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
Welp, it’s been in the wind for a while but Gina Carano finally posted enough nonsense online for Lucasfilm to categorically state that it has no plans to work with her in the future and that her views are “abhorrent and unacceptable,” so it looks like we’ve seen the last of former Rebel shock trooper Cara Dune in Disney+’s hugely popular Star Wars series, The Mandalorian.
“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future,” said Lucasfilm in a statement. “Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”
A source told THR that Lucasfilm had “been looking for a reason to fire [Carano] for two months, and today was the final straw.” This was swiftly followed by confirmation from her talent agency UTA that they’d dropped her as a client.
We need to recap the situation a little for those who just have absolutely no clue what led to Carano’s dismissal. The short version: the actress has posted COVID conspiracy theories, mocked the idea of adding pronouns to her Twitter bio, declined to show support for the Black Lives Matter movement, and has suggested that there was voter fraud in the 2020 US election on social media. Inevitably, she then joined Parler – a social network populated largely by conservatives, conspiracy theorists, and right-wing extremists – following the subsequent online backlash.
It’s been a bit of a PR nightmare for Lucasfilm and UTA that showed no signs of abating, and it culminated this week when Carano posted some thoughts to her Instagram that likened having right-wing political views to being Jewish in the Holocaust, featuring a picture of the 1941 Lviv pogroms.
Carano was on her way to record an interview with The Babylon Bee – a kind of evangelical version of The Onion – before the news broke of her firing, and has yet to respond to the situation at the time of writing.
As official information regarding Carano being let go from The Mandalorian started circulating, news also arrived that her co-star Pedro Pascal had been cast as the lead in HBO’s highly anticipated The Last of Us TV series. Earlier in the week, Pascal had been online showing public support for his sister Lux, who had announced that she identifies as a transgender woman in Chilean magazine, Ya.
The move to fire Carano has created quite the conversation online, as you’d expect, with many noting that the Haywire actress was getting to taste some sparkling consequences.

Carano’s supporters/conservatives were rather more outraged by her firing than those who had expected it to happen quite some time ago, and many of them went on to tweet their disappointment under the hashtag #CancelDisneyPlus.

In 2 hours on here will be a Kevin Logan live stream with Renfamous, an outspoken critic of ComicsGate who exposed multiple cases of their vile behavior and pushed back against them constantly. As you can see in the comments, CG trolls are already spewing vitriol because they magically know what is gonna be said, I guess. Meanwhile Ethan Van Sciver is losing his shit people will discuss him and he cannot butt in and try to spew his lies (this is despite him once hosting a stream where he and his goons openly fantasized about raping Renfamous so pot and kettle, Ethan). I think it might be interesting to watch.
