no but maybe i didn't know what love was until annabeth protected percy, getting herself stabbed and him wildly swinging his sword screaming "NOBODY TOUCHES HER!!!"

he's basically invincible. Unkillable... but he's prepared to slaughter a whole army because she got stabbed protecting him.

Annabeth could've died and all that mattered to her in the world was that Percy was safe... and then later on he says "The world was collapsing, and the only thing that really mattered to me was that she was alive"
