Earth-6283 - A Hybrid DC/Marvel Comics world primarily focused on my Spidersona, Webslinger.

Persona: Labyrinth of the Library - An original story set in the Persona Universe. Centers around college aged Wild Card Melanie Alatorre and the Book Club.

Adjustment AU (Persona 3/5) - An AU that kinda sprang off of my love for @/princekirijo's Captain AU. It centers around Katsuro Sanada (Outlaw), an Akishinji fankid. The AU moves the events of Persona 5 to 2036 to account for everything. Has a variant called the Reverse Adjustment AU where Katsuro partners up with Akechi.

Captain/Adjustment Time Travel AU/CATT AU (Persona 3/5)- In which Katsuro Sanada and Riku Kirijo (@/princekirijo) are sent back in time to 2009 after the confrontation with Yaldabaoth. Fiddles with the lore of both AUs to make it work.

Orange Arisato Twins (Persona 3) - Not a unique concept- The Persona 3 protagonists are twin siblings, with Hamuko as the Wild Card. As the name implies, both of them have orange hair, but Minato dyes his blue. Linked with Adjustment AU.

Fire Emblem OC Project - An oc project that I'm working on. There's kind of a story but it's currently so generically fire emblem that it doesn't need to be talked about

Zelda Fire Emblem Project - WIP. Hopefully will end up as a Sacred Stones Rom Hack. Centers around the three triforce bearers as lords, including a good version of Ganondorf, named Dagda.

PMD World Adventurers (Pokemon) - Centers around Team Firecracker, a rescue team from the continent of Grynrith. Very furry-ish. Combines aspects of Mystery Dungeon with Zelda, Fire Emblem, and pinches of Xenoblade during a later story.

Waffle's Unnamed Mario AU (Mario Bros)- Primarily focuses on gijinkas of the Koopalings. Changes a bunch of lore aspects of the Mario series to make it unnecessarily complex. Shamelessly inspired by Koopaling Gijinka blogs such as @/asktehkoopz, @/se7en-sibs, @/askboompom, and ask-larry-koopa (which now no longer exists).

Game On AU (Persona) - A Persona 5 Arcanaswap AU with Futaba as the Wild Card. After witnessing a gang killing, Futaba is put into witness protection and is taken care of by a Heirophant!Iwai. Primarily brainstormed with @/brokenhardies

Era of Innovation (TLOZ) - 200 years after The Upheaval (Tears of the Kingdom) Purah finds a young Wolfos boy abandoned on her doorstep... with a familiar glint is his eye that reminds her too much of Link.

TV World Thieves (Persona) - A year after Strikers, Ryuji, Makoto, Yusuke, and Futaba decide to take a few weeks off to give Ren a surprise visit in his home town of Inaba. Unfortunately for them, he's sick, so the three of them (and Morgana) go to Junes to cook him a nice meal... and Futaba pushes Ryuji into the TV World on accident, which Yosuke, Teddie, Chie, and Yukiko see.

Persona 3 Royal (Persona) - AU where the Persona 5 Characters replace the Persona 3 Characters in their story. WIP.

Neon Spider (Spider-Man) - In Dimension-121420, Callum Rook is Spider-Man. He and his partner, Leo (The Venom of this dimension) fight crime in San Francisco. Has a swap au called Symbiote Cal

Back in August, I set out on a journey to watch the entirety of Ren's Hermitcraft backlog. In preparation for an animatic I was starting to think about, I took a mental note of every character I came across. Having recently picked the animatic back up, I've started sorting through this list again, and I thought it would be fun to compile the entire list for anyone who was curious.

I've broken this list down into five categories: Standard, Roleplay Characters, Possessors, Friends, and Enemies.

Due to the amount of Ren Variants there are, I have had to split the list up into several reblogs. The full thread can be found here.

Disclaimer: This list includes only Rens from Hermitcraft and Third Life/Last Life. Variants from other series will not be included on this list, mostly because I haven't yet had the time to go through and learn about them. In addition, there are a few of Ren's standard skins that, due to Tumblr's image limit, I could not include in the posts. This includes Ren's Get Gorgeous and lumberjack skins from season 7. i second the dramatic and sad interpretation! he's also Very loyal to dogwarts specifically and the red army by extension, and codependent with his hand. he's notably a "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" type of character. the key difference between trk and ren though is that trk is notably Sad and Angry in his drama, where ren is more Excited and Intrigued by his.

Rendog Variants: Standard Rens

Standard Rens are... just Ren. They're just normal Ren, no caveats or special names. Just Ren.

Season 4

Season 4 was Ren's first season on Hermitcraft, as many people know! He spent the vast majority of the season in his old standard skin.

This season featured the Logfellas plot, a business war which Ren was a major player in that included such activities as stealing, kidnapping, and vandalism. The Logfellas plot eventually culminated in a wonderfully entertaining trial (which is highly worth a watch), which Ren attended in appropriate formalwear.

Season 5

Season 5 was less directly story focused than Ren's other seasons have been, and instead focused moreso on working on his base. Once again, he spent the vast majority in the standard skin pictured above. This season, though, for the first time, he had a recurring lore-based skin! This is his main skin for La Revolution, a team consisting of Ren and Iskall (and, later, Stress) that was formed to fight against the nHo, featured in several short segments throughout the season. Even post-nHo, the revolutionary skin showed up in segments as La Revolution refocused onto taking down the ConVex.

Season 6

Season 6 saw Ren's characters and lore-based skins multiply exponentially. Throughout the season he used quite a number of different skins, though several of these were trial runs while he revamped his skin. I'm only going to note two of these trial run skins here. For the majority of early season 6, he used his old standard skin.

During the Hermitcraft Civil War, called by Doc after the server's prank war went too far, Ren switched over to his war skin [on the left]. While he did go on vacation for much of the war, he kept the skin on until it was over.

Just over halfway through Season 6, Ren started trying out new skins. For about ten episodes he'd have a new skin on each episode, with most of them being minor tweaks from previous skins. This is the first take on the skin that would, eventually, become his main skin. Canonically, Grian gave him this outfit.

This is the skin that Ren ended on as his main skin by the end of season 6. It would go on to be his primary skin for the majority of season 7, and one of, if not the most notable of his skins. Later, during season 7, he would gain dog ears after a questionable haircut by Bdubs.

Season 7

During season seven Ren had, by far, the most skins to date. From the very beginning this season, he started with a brand new skin and a story to go with it. The start of Ren's season seven saw him washing up on Loser Island, sunburnt and with his clothes torn to bits, and this is the skin he wore for the majority of the season.

His more notable Bigger Logz Inc. skin is his CEO outfit. This skin was primarily used for skits in video intros, inside the PR cabin of Bigger Logz Inc. Whenever Ren was reporting on finances or Bigger Logz developments, this skin or a variant of it was used.

Throughout much of the later half of season 7, Ren wore his Stargazer skin. This skin was tied heavily into the core story Ren wove throughout the season, although it didn't appear in the condensed movie that capped the season off. I won't go into detail concerning the Stargazer arc here, and instead am going to direct you to the movie in question (here), as it is a story best experienced in its original form.

Season 8

Cyberdog Ren is the final Standard Ren skin on this list, and by far the most story-intensive. At the end of Ren's Stargazer film, he was left broken and battered in the valley of Tatooren, and had to be put back together piece by piece by Renbob. After three long months in cyberspace with Renbob and Doc, he emerged as a cyborg-dog, and that's how he remains today.

Rendog Variants: Roleplay Characters and Possessors

Ren's Roleplay Characters and Possessors are both actually Ren. Either Ren dressing up as a character or Ren being possessed by some outside being. Typically, Roleplay characters are benevolent and possession characters are not, though this is not always the case.

Roleplay Characters

Ren played Renson during the Jangler arc in season 6. Renson was a play off of Sherlock Grian, who Ren and Doc had hired to help them solve the case of the Jangler and their missing diamonds. Over the course of the investigation, he was referred to both as Scooby-Doo and as Dogson. Notably, Renson was the one who suggested the method they eventually used to solve the case.

Nigel Silverfeather is an interesting case among Ren's roleplay characters, in that the fact he's a roleplay character is actively commented on in the narrative, rather than merely implied. He appears during Grian and Ren's scouting mission to Falseworth, when they take a tour to gain information about Area 77. He's played, rather unconvincingly, as an upper-class British tourist who's there on vacation.

RentheKid was the character Ren played during the Game of Life arc in early season 7. He was a cowboy/sheriff character who was originally meant to suit the western theme of the Game of Life, but who was quickly tied into a more emotional arc after Jevin stole Ren's mooshroom Pamela and held her for ransom. With his beloved Pamela in the balance, Ren had no choice but to win the Game of Life, and so Renthekid challenged Doc Holliday to a duel. In a tragic turn of events, he lost the duel, and we never saw him return.

Triple R was Ren's wrestling persona, and his last chance to save Pamela before Jevin killed her. He participated in the Hermit Wrestling Federation's biggest match. Due to the stakes involved, Triple R cheated to ensure his own victory in his match, using strength potions that were provided to him by the Goatfather to throw the match in his direction.

The Red King was a character Ren played in 3rd Life. He took up this mantle after sacrificing his yellow life, with the main goal of defending Dogwarts and fighting alongside the Red Army. While he managed to stay alive until the final session of Third Life, he was eventually slain within Dogwarts' walls, in a last stand against the Crastle Alliance.

Possessors

Grimmdog is the entity that possessed Ren during Demise. He was the first Hermit to turn gray, and established much of how Greyskin life was handled. Grimmdog became a figurehead of sorts for the Greyskins, often appearing to welcome new Greyskins and tending to the graveyard they respawned in. After Demise's completion, Grimmdog made a deal with Iskall: He'd go through a gauntlet of five challenges, determined by Iskall, and should he survive all of them he'd get 500 diamonds. Should he die during any of them, he'd be freed from the Demise curse. Grimmdog survived two of the five challenges and died during his third, releasing Ren to the living and never being heard from again.

Rendog Variants: Friends and Enemies of Ren

Friends and Enemies of Ren are exactly what they say on the tin: Ren's non-Ren friends and enemies.

Friends of Ren

Renbob is perhaps the most well-known and well-beloved one of Ren's friends. Introduced in season six, he's a hippie who can commonly be found across the server protesting various different crimes against nature. He's also a mechanic known for working on his van with... rather unorthodox materials, such as the hyperspace drive from the Area 77 arc. Renbob featured heavily in the Stargazer arc, travelling through space to HC-7 and being the one to save Ren's life after the arc's final battle. His van can fly and is space-safe, and is the vehicle Ren and Doc used to get to Season 8.

Tomato Yoshi was a character who lived in Ren's season 6 base. He was the head of the dojo, and his character leaned heavily into the role of a wise old mentor figure. At one point, he went on a quest across the map to learn and explore the world and reach a new level of peace and meditation; a quest that was kickstarted by a visit to Doc while Ren was busy with the hippies. He was also canonically a rat, and for a short period of time lived inside a rat enclosure that False build in Ren's season 6 base.

Dr. Renstein was a scientist that Ren originally brought in to aid the Mycelium Resistance in their goals of returning the Shopping District to its mycelium roots. He cares about environmental protection and he stayed around after the Turf War to help Ren out during season 7. While he is a mad scientist, he also has a lot of knowledge of engineering, as shown by his teleportation machine and his creation of the blueprints for Ren's creeper factory.

Longren Silver is a pirate who only appeared in one of Ren's season seven episodes. He was regularly drunk and highly addicted to gambling, and could be found at Iskall's Treasure Island looking for more loot.

Enemies of Ren

The Renperor was a key player during the Stargazer arc. He was one of the two primary antagonists, and was often seen influencing Ren to go towards the "dark side" throughout season 7. While he wasn't physically present during the final battle, he did orchestrate the entirety of the Stargazer arc from the background.

The App-rentice was another key player during the Stargazer arc. He was the one carrying out most of the Renperor's plans. Anytime the Renperor needed something done in physical space, the Apprentice was the one to do it. During the final battle of the Stargazer arc, the Apprentice fought Ren for control of the Valley of Tattooren, leading to him leaving Ren half-dead and and taking control of the valley.
