Lawlight likers may be an insufferable presence in the fandom to other kinds of Death Note heads, but be serious, how much of the longevity of the fandom do you think this ship is actually responsible for?

#i would venture to say a great deal of the longevity #that's all im sayin hahaha #that being said i dont disagree that its probably quite annoying at times #if youre someone who just finds it like nails on a chalkboard or sthg...#but i feel like a lot of what death note is known and loved and remembered for is this relationship specifically...#remove it from the story/fandom altogether and i dont think it would still be nearly as much of a thing #as it is now even 20 years down the road #lawlight #death note #p
