I mean I did say this in the tags but I guess I didn’t emphasize this enough. I’m not saying necessarily that Harry has disordered eating, I also said that it’s common for people to lose their appetites when they’re feeling shitty. I’m just saying that it’s equally untrue to say that Harry DOESN’T do this and that people who DO want to interpret it that way have some basis in canon. That’s the misconception I’m trying to fix. In fact I pointed out that other characters (Ron) also do this

Let me remind everyone that Harry being bi also isn’t canon and people can find people of the same gender aesthetically pleasing / acknowledge they’re attractive without being attracted, which is what Rowling would probably say about Harry.

For writing / analysis / headcanoning it can be fun or interesting to find textual evidence that supports an idea even if that’s not the intent behind what the author wrote

I’ve seen people for some reason dispute the idea that Harry stops eating much when he’s nervous or preoccupied but this is definitely something that’s supported by the books— I can think of around four instances off the top of my head— so when I find examples I’ll post them here.

I want to make it clear that I don’t think it’s something he’s necessarily doing consciously or intentionally in a disordered eating kind of way. But if someone wants to read it that way there’s textual support for that interpretation
