STRMRUNNER Media’s, known to the public as SWARM Entertainment at the time, first boy group and their sucker punch into the music industry. unfortunately, the success would be short lived as they'd be hit with tragedy at one of the high points of their careers, but their impact on the industry was undeniable.

the sister group to CandyHeartz. with closely related concepts and an unshakable bond between the members, it wasn't much of a shock to fans at the time when they chose to disband only months after their brothers following the incident.

CH3RRY 　 ── 　 2O11 ─ 2O11. NPC.

reeling from the loss of their two biggest cash cows and desperate to regroup, this trio of lively young spirits would burst through the door only to leave as soon as they came. after a quiet disbandment behind the shadows, SWARM Ent. was once again left with nothing. 

INSTELLAR 　 ── 　 2O12 ─ 2O15. NPC.

some believed INSTELLAR to be the end-all save-all group for swarm entertainment; they had skyrocketed in popularity following their debut and seemed destined for great success, just like their past seniors. but placed under similar circumstances to CandyHeartz, this time with the unfortunate end of ceo park daeseong, they’d fall just short of the stars and would come to disband only months before their third anniversary.

REMIIX 　 ── 　 2O13 ─ 2O14. NPC.

many speculated that ceo park daeseong had started to take what the public has dubbed "The Candy Curse" with much more seriousness, debuting this ragtag group of teens and young adults only a year after INSTELLAR. however, despite the big craze surrounding them, their careers would be cut short following the aftermath of a devastating dating scandal and countless cold rumours.

SO(U)L 　 ── 　 2O18 ─ PRESENT. ACTIVE.

the first group to debut under the newly titled STRMRUNNER Media. coming out of nowhere near the end of 2O18, the seven would go on to be known as the record breakers in the industry and are regarded as one of the best boy groups. much to the chagrin of antis, their predecessors adore them.

it’s so fun comparing the syoul boys to their past seniors, CandyHeartz. the similarities between the two groups are uncanny; the three main frontman of chz remind older fans of seojun, oliver, and kj. both groups have seven members and both lasted for longer than 2 years.

i love how syoul live in the shadow of their predecessors now bc it makes the eyes that watch them all the more harsh. take kj’s scandal and hiatus, the constant criticism mars faced in the early days for not bringing anything to the group, the rumours that float around seven, how antis dog piled on iseul for not joining nct or skz beforehand even though it wasn’t his choice to not be with them…
