A quick-ish sketch for #remembermay2nd This is Juniper Vela Black, one of two namesakes for my artist name. She is from my unfinished Harry Potter AU story where I try really hard to save characters but have to kill off other ones. Juniper 'June' is a self-insert in many ways. I modeled her after myself from when I was a teen. She's very into dark colors. She's a bit grungy and gloomy. Her Patronus is actually my Patronus which is a robin. Her wand details are precisely what my wand details. Etc. Her house is also my house btw. I created her even before I knew of the term 'Isekai' or even before the genre became popularized. She was a 21-year-old who gets sucked into a magical wormhole of sorts with her siblings and end up at Hogwarts 8 years younger. And the whole point of the story is saving Fred Weasley and finding out how they fit into the world. . I can seriously get deep into talking about her story because I know the entirety of it but just never got to finishing writing it. If you're interested to know more about her, maybe I'll produce other art pieces. There's a lot to her lineage that really builds itself into the story and how just her existence plays into the plot of AU. . I don't really talk much about the fandoms that I'm into so it's kind of weird sharing that I used to write fanfics. lol . . .
