The Photography Show - Birmingham

A really worthwhile 2 days spent at the Photography Show - Birmingham.  Great line up of speakers including Martin Parr and Pete Souza who gave an account of behind he scenes photography with President Obama.  I was particularly moved by an inspirational photographer Margot Raggett and her work to save endangered wildlife by bringing together 50 of the world’s greatest wildlife photographers to produce 3 great books, Remembering Elephants, Remembering Rhinos and Remembering Great Apes, with the money raised from these publications going to help conservation of these great species. With a new book Remembering Lions she will continue her work, using Kickstarter to channel all proceeds into sustainable projects.  Wonderful images and fantastic work!
