my frail whimsical mind cannot comprehend people watching a show/reading/playing a game and that's it. You're not gonna research and analyze, pick it apart and take what you will from it? You're not gonna read (write) fan fiction or look at (draw) fan art? What about every thought you can spare towards fantasizing and putting your little guys in scenarios and letting the narrative take over and consume your mind? And pouring hours into figuring out what a character would and would not say? Some people move on and that's...woah
