Now I just need a Nendoroid Akane, Ryouga, and maybe a Genma-panda, and it'll be minimally complete. Of course, I'd love to see Akari, Ukyo, Shampoo, Mousse, and Cologne get Nendoroids too. But at bare minimum, I need Ranma and Akane. Next step is Ryouga and Genma-panda. Anything after that, is icing on the cake.

Some things I’d like to see in the KOTOR remake(s), assuming they actually get released. I know some of it is a bit idealistic, but I can dream 😆

More customisation: maybe your character has a larger body, or freckles, or the braided hairstyle but blonde. They’re Twilek, Mirialan, or Zabraki! Non binary! Asexual! Anything goes, babey!!

Improved graphics and animation: ok, this is practically a given, but still. Have you seen characters get killed, then stand back up so they can die properly? Or characters knocked down when frozen getting back up and re-freezing (in that ridiculous pose) 😆. Revan’s dance moves stay, obviously, they’re just smoother.

Companions can roam ship/have schedules: Mostly they’ll be where they are now, but sometimes you’ll find Atton taking a nap, or Mission at the food replicator, and so on. Maybe you’ll even see someone patching themselves up in the med bay after a particularly rough battle.

Seperate the first name/last name fields: Sometimes I find a good first name but want to randomise the last. Also, giving every character my full name whilst trying to stay under the radar is counterintuitive. 😄

Romance: make Carth and Bastila bi, improve Juhani’s romance options (keep her a lesbian though), and add romance to the Kotor 2 characters (and Canderous in K1 because I know some people want that). You should be able to turn them down at any point though if you want.

Hide weapons unless fighting: We’ve all had a character stab themself when meditating or something. Also this

Small decorations: just having little trinkets and stuff appear throughout the game as you complete various tasks. Maybe you could keep one gizka, or pazzak cards/credits stack up as you win more games, or you get a sticker saying “Visit Manaan!”, etc.

Containers say when empty: this one is just here because I’m stupid and can’t remember shit 😆

[K1] Change Tach sound: those seconds between descending into the shadowlands and finding the mute button are the longest seconds of my life. (I know there’s mods, but they aren’t available on console)

[K1] Influence system/relationship changes: It really doesn’t make sense that Carth and Bastila will watch you do something dark sided and just make a small comment before pretending it never happened. Lightside companions should become more wary of you the darker you get, with Bastila giving you more lectures, for example.

[K1] Solo/not mc sections: I really like these sections in Kotor 2, so it’d be nice to have some in the first one too. Maybe someone could deal with the Mandalorian raiders while you’re training as a Jedi, or Canderous does the Genoharadan quest. Or entirely new stuff.

[K1] Change equipment on the Hawk: Also from Kotor 2. It’s very annoying to keep taking characters off the ship just to give them better stuff

[K1] Cutscenes on ship: yet another thing from Kotor 2. Carth asking Bastila how she got captured, Carth and Canderous’ Warrior or Soldier discussion, and Mission asking Bastila about using the force for fun could all easily take place on the ship, along with other convos.

[K2] references to/import data from K1: I’d like to see people talk about the time Revan saved/destroyed Hrakert rift and affected the kolto, or about them being swoop champ, and stuff like that.

[K2] Finished product: all the stuff the Restored Content Mod deals with should be there from the beginning, no need for mods or dlc *cough* Switch port *cough*. I know we’re going to mod the game anyway, but it should be for fun stuff and minor bug fixes, not restoring half the game!

I haven't seen much of the resident evil 4 remake but I hope they kept the incredibly expensive and very specific knives for Leon and uhh the red beret guy

to take a completely different spin from jjk, i need y'all to know i'm always thinking about zombie au's and what oc's would work in them and this is me saying i will write a zombie au of any sort with you in a heartbeat bc the zombie genre is ( maybe unfortunately asdf ) one of my favorites to think about and indulge in :' )

I really hope the upcoming new Ranma 1/2 anime gets a director who really plays into those melodramatic martial arts movie tropes, but keeps the fast paced, jarring juxtaposition humor implied by the manga. One of my favorite running gags in Ranma 1/2 is when characters act so serious and melodramatic, adhering to some movie trope, then Ranma or Akane point out how they're actually being stupid or how solutions would be easy if they'd stop being cliche for the drama. 😂

DMC2 REMAKE THOUGHTS

A potential DMC2 remake should take cues from FF7R's story changes and how the original tackled its themes and characters.

DMC2 was cobbled together from different pitches lying around and rushed out the door. Plus they avoided acknowledging it for too long.

Ironically DMC2 Dante would've been a better foil for Nero. And 3 being a direct follow-up to 2 rather than a prequel would've helped him alot.

I thought it would be better just to replace Dante with another character like Vergil/Nero/Trish/V/Lady. The anime and 2 are his worst portrayals. Plus the series never figured out what to do with him after 1. Bingo and Itsuno just made him a into an extrovert and leaned into his relationship with Vergil.

So using another character would help freshen up the story and help build the other cast members. It could test the waters for spinoffs.

With Dante, maybe you can have 2 be a followup to the Anime? Set it a few years after the anime and have some of the side characters pop up. Patty's mom got a job at Uroborous and acts Dante's informant. But you would have to be able to address the failings of the series so far. Despite having an episodic format, it struggles telling stories that aren't related to Dante's family or Vergil.

I had a friend who thought DMC2 was a prequel to 3. I don't mind using DMC3 Dante instead and setting it between 3 and 1.

As for a rival, I have two ideas.

A) A mercenary who works for Arius as a bodyguard. I thought about it being a reworked Enzo. There was a good fanfic where Enzo became a competent hunter. I preffered that over Enzo as a butt monkey comic relief character. So this would be a darker take on that fic.

If you don't like the Enzo idea, just make him a hunter/mercenary that Dante and Lady used to know.

B) a warlock that works for Arius but tries to take over the company.

Both could work and exist seperate of each other. One of them would wear a green outfit in a shoutout to the rumor of another protagonist.

For Lucia, she's not bad. She suffers similar problems to Trish. They are both cool ideas but undercooked as characters. So I'd just expand on her more and flesh out her dynamic with the Vie di marli. I thought about making Lucia's mom a willing partner to Arius and his schemes. You could also give her a rival within the Clan.

I don’t really like the words brainrot/brainworm but I can’t think of a good word right now except I guess hyperfixation, either way... Victor and Hop and the game in general will not leave my mind. This already was before I started sword the other night but more so now that I’m actually playing adfadgaddfhg I’m only right after the opening ceremony, last night I stopped before leaving Motostoke...

Anyway I’m sure glad I listened to my excitement and my hunch because this is mayhaps just what I needed
