I meant to post this yesterday but I kinda sorta conked out the moment I got home from work I was Not Conscious

I kinda wanna actually colour some of these prompts but I don't have the time today so hopefully tomorrow/tonight I will :) I only have 2 finished days to post in that regard but I have some others sketched out so ye

REKTOBER 2024 PROMPTLIST IS HERE!

I tried to base the prompts off videos and moments throughout them from over the years, with a variety of Echocraft, Lifesteal, even some Naked and Afraid/No armour hardcore!

I'll try and make a post each day with the specific prompt and videos it was related to to help people out, but I hope you all enjoy! And remember, you don't HAVE to follow the prompts if you have no inspiration for any given day - You can take it as a free space if you want :)

Rektober Day 2 - Dancing @rektober2024

I think I messed up with the lineart for this one so you get the sketch too because I was really happy with the sketch and didn't do it justice :(

Rektober Day 16 - Waffles VS Pancakes

The start of the Lifesteal-Centred prompts! I honestly thought it'd be fun to start this section off with the iconic waffles v pancakes debacle!

A fun start to a new lifesteal season for sure! :)

Rektober Day 7 - R&B Recycling

When Rek and Branzy teamed up to defeat Littering, I don't think either of them anticipated the saga of betrayal and trickery that it would bring...

But it sure made for a great storyline! And its always great to have a reminder not to litter and to recycle :)

Rektober Day 3 - The Minevlog (Humble beginnings)

As far as I can see - These videos were Rek's start to youtube! A humble minecraft vlog (or Minevlog), videos which were recently all unlisted for everyone to look back on and watch!

Be it Rek's old skin or something from the series, this prompt is related to Rek's humble beginning and a reminder of just how far he's come

Rektober Day 1 - Nether Survival

A series running around the time EchoCraft began, the Nether Survival series was mentioned many times through Rek's EC videos!

Sometime recently, rek made all of his older videos public, and so the Nether Survival series is free to watch for anyone now!

Be it related to the videos or a more modern-day spin on Rek surviving the Nether, there's lots of inspiration to choose from for the first day's prompts! As the month goes on, the prompts will progress to be closer to modern-day Rekrap2 content :)

Rektober 2024 Day 2 - Dancing

The origin of Rek's skin - A snazzy dance outfit B)

I thought a fun way to pay homage to the origins os Rek's unique skin would be to make a prompt around dancing! It can be any dance move you want :D

It's kinda fun to look back on to see what parts of the skin change Rek kept and what parts he didn't. For example, the pink(?) trousers. I definitely think we got the best mix possible, but what are your thoughts?

Rektober Day 30 - Japan Shenanigans!

The Japan trip was super fun! From Rek almost dying (thank goodness he didn't) to derap's fun streams!

Have some fun with this day, and doodle your favourite moment from the Japan trip!

We're almost finished now with Rektober, and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who participated and I hope to maybe do this again next year! I apologise again for a few days nearer the end where I've been late, my work schedule has gotten a lot busier and I've had a lot going on irl. But I hope that regardless it was a fun event for everyone to celebrate Rek!

One of the most tense scenes in Rek's POV of Naked and Afraid was his encounter with the Ravager - An experience with death... Gosh what a fright!

Rektober Day 8 - The Fight for the Deed!

Onto Echocraft season 2, Rek made an awesome base with a Copper and Deepslate Pryamid and village, his own custom huge cave, and some of the coolest looking mob farms!

Unfortunately, his base soon became Branzy's base with the use of a 400 year old law (Squatter's Rights). So began the fight for his base back, the fight for the deed B)

Rektober Day 6 - Rek the Chicken Slapper

Today we think back to the time Rek thrashed the record for Most Chickens Slapped, and promise that he Definitely Wasn't Poultry Man

The Chicken Slapper crown originated from Echocraft Episode 21 on Rek's channel, and became a staple of the episodes. Rek did have to fight to earn it back later on once his high score was beat, but that didn't stop him from earning it back later B)

It wouldn't be a Rek themed prompt list without reference to his iconic crown

Rektober Day 4 - EchoChambers

The fun get-to-know-you minigame Rek created in his base in EchoCraft! I figured a great start to the EchoCraft based prompts would be that, as they're both a fun concept and looked really cool!

A below the ice cave/chamber with soul torches. The aesthetics are 10/10

For the video attached, Rek starts talking about creating the Echo Chambers around 4 minutes in :)
