The Exorcist was the dramatic type, wasn't she? Charlie's shoulders slumped with a silent sigh; Lute just always seemed to assume the worst and never wanted to hear anything that could imply the contrary. It had to get tiring after awhile, always putting up walls and keeping on constant guard.

"I'm not going to..." The Princess trailed off as the rest of Lute's statement sunk in.

"Snake friend...?" Charlie seized Lute by the shoulders, fingernails digging in to prevent her from squirming away. She yanked Lute closer, eyes boring into the angel's, searching for any hint of a lie or a sick joke.

"Sir Pentious? He's okay? He's alive?!"

"I should finish you off for all the shit you put me through." She agreed, holding her spear as she stared down at the former Exorcist. Her eye glowing ominously in the darkness of the alley.

She had thought Lute had gone back up to Heaven. Apparently not. When she had heard rumors circulating of a fallen angel in Hell, she almost didn't believe them. That being said, it was still worth checking out. Just to be sure. And well, Lute wasn't exactly hard to track down with the bloody carnage she left behind. Vagatha knew her signature better than most people.

"...But I won't." She sighed, her spear dissipating. Vagatha would not stoop to her level and besides, looking at Lute now, she just seemed so...pitiful. Instead, she offered her hand. "I'm not like you, Lute."

"Lute..." Emily reached out, her fingertips brushing Lute's hand. Losing Adam had been... hard on the exorcist. All of Heaven knew how close the two were, and even if Adam's demise hadn't exactly been made public knowledge, it was plain to see that Lute was... different now.

"There... there's no need to rush to judgement. That's the sort of thinking that landed us in this situation to begin with. Why don't we call the council? Perhaps the Heavenly Host can come up with a solution... One that doesn't involve burning."

It is not unusual for Lute to be the one to arrive in Adam's place, and usually she is the more straightforward of the two ; her level of devotion and loyalty would almost be cause for concern, if Sera hadn't already had a lot on her plate.

is there any other muse in this fandom you RP? + did you have a muse you tried to play, but didn’t feel connected to?

I've probably played most characters in the series. Right now besides Paimon I have active blogs for Adam, Crimson, and Valentino as far as canon characters go.

In the past I have also written:

Velvette, Husk, Mammon, Blitzo, Vox, Arackniss, Baxter, Sir Pentious, Alastor.

Most of these I had no issue writing, I just had to down the number of muses I had so I could be a more reliable roleplay partner. The only one I couldn't write in a way that felt right to me was Velvette. I just can't write women for some reason.
