♡ I have returned to tumblr this week with very little explanation but I wish to express my regrets and gratitude before I unfold a new beginning here

♡ thank you to all my followers and friends who stayed with me during my long and unannounced hiatus. I think I wasn't able to show how much this community has become a significant part of me until I was away for so long

♡ irl, these past few months I was away, I was drained and deeply hurt after caring for a friend who ended up betraying/turning his back on me in the end. my phone also got broken at the same time and I ended up losing all of my stored memory and passwords. I took it as a sign to end things here and not to return anymore. I don't want to make tumblr an escape to avoid the emotions I should process and deal with. I refrained from installing the app and opening my email linked to this account because of the guilt of not being able to get back without saying anything

♡ as I have shared, I was losing sleep this last week of august as I kept remembering all the good and fulfilling moments I spent here on tumblr. all of my interactions with you, all the friendships I made, all the ask games I played and all the things I created in my last 4 years haunted me at night because those years were my happiest thus far. I was scared to come back again until a moot dropped me an ask, asking me how I've been and that was the push that encouraged me to return

♡ the experiences I have encountered while I was away has led me to realize that the realest I have ever become was in this platform and I got to be in the company of the people who genuinely resonated with me through the thing I'm most passionate about, writing

♡ unlike last year, I'll take baby steps this time around. I'll savor the moment until it lasts. I'll choose what brings out the best in me and I'll live doing the things I love the most

♡ please bear with me as I start over again. I know I disappeared like a ghost without a word and that may have affected some of my friendships but know that all of you has a special place in my heart and memory. the whole experience is honestly very humbling for me
