          Heather’s head cants to the side, the smile she wears one of pure entertainment. Yeah, she certainly expected something more straightforward — a canned response, some lazy dismissal — maybe she wouldn’t be graced with an answer at all ; after all, that’s what questioning the broody, distant gaze of someone usually gets her. But no, this was so much all at once, so genuine and unfiltered. She sits down with their drinks, putting one at the table in front of him. It's charming, she thinks.

          “ Tell me more about it, ”          She says, never loosing her smile. She sips her beer, flashing large blue eyes at him from over the top of her glass — a “pretty please?” if you will.

even though pink fingertips would constantly wander to the dainty little cross dangling at her throat                   the cross itself felt too heavy to bare, to begin with                   sophia’s faith in god has faltered quite greatly. she knows, from personal experience : “ no. with or without god, demons never cease to exist. i don’t really know where else a demon can come from. ” said with conviction, sophia knows. it’s that hint of coldness behind her eyes, though her personality is warm and sunny. like, she’s seen some shit. anyways. “ even though religions argue with each other about heaven or god or whatever, they almost always agree that there’s some kind of hell. ” this one is thoughtful, like she’s taking a pure moment to educate. and then : “ even people who don’t believe in anything at all. they’ve experienced hell in one way or another. it’ll always be there. ”

"Miss?" Hartley repeats with ill-disguised glee. "Oh, a polite man." It's not often she gets addressed as something so benign, so she's going to ride that out for as long as she can. His follow-up question has her scoffing, though, bringing the straw of her mocktail to her lips but not actually sipping just yet. Was she sure? What kind of a question was that? May as well ask was he armed.

"I'm sure, sugar." Her smile mutes slightly, curving into something a bit more sly. This, after all, was what she was good at. "I have very reliable intel that he'll be here as long as I'll be here, which means the rest of them will show up too." And would probably make a beeline over here once they saw her talking to another man, but that's a tidbit of information to worry about later.

20 . do they have a “comfort outfit” or a go to look? if so, why did they choose those pieces?

Teagan is absolutely a big t-shirt/hoodie and leggings kinda girl when she isn’t feeling like dressing up, maybe with a pair of flashy boots to at least feel like she put a little bit of effort into her look but. Mostly a pair of tennis shoes or even a pair of slippers, she isn’t above that LMAO her every day look is casual but with lots of black &/or muted tones. Tank top, zip up hoodie, ripped up jeans. Studded belt is a must.

21. in a relationship, are they the ones stealing their partners’ clothing? or are they the ones having their clothes stolen?

It really depends on the relationship; if she is with a masc person usually she is the one to do the stealing, but if she is with a femme person she is usually offering her jackets and oversized stuff constantly. Nothing is better than oversized partner clothing 😭

22. do they have bumper stickers on their car? if so, what kind? (bonus points for pictures!)

She has all kinda of band stickers, from her own band to other bands she has toured with to some of her favorites that she has seen in concert. Aside from that she def has some pride stickers and at least one amoeba music sticker and some other weird ones that she either got online or as gifts from friends like:

She really really loves the x files, and even though she thinks its utter trash from the jump she also loves supernatural. Pretty much any shitty teen romance/drama/thriller with supernatural / post apocalyptic themes are in heavy rotation (think twilight or hunger games) and shes too much of a book nerd to pick just one, really LMAO 

24. if forced to wear socks, what kind do they prefer? ( ankle? crew cut? patterned? plain? )

She is a black ankle/low cut sock kinda girly, usually no pattern. If not that then she might be wearing stripes but thats VERY uncommon. Shes usually wearing boots so its not like you can really see them anyway!!!

25. what do they do when they are deep in thought? ( bite their nails? twirl a strand of hair? lick their lips? just look off to the side? nothing too exciting because this is a highly specific question? lol )

Shes a lip biter for sure, I've actually considered giving her a lip piercing to chew on when she’s thinking but i am still on the fence about that. Other than lip biting she wrings her hands a lot and plays with her acrylics 

26. what is their favorite snack food?

Flaming. Hot. cheetos. pair that with a liquid death and she is SET.

27. what do their hair care products smell like?

For the most part its vanilla and warm sugar, maybe a toasted marshmallow perfume thrown on top or maybe some sort of chai smelling perfume? Really rich and sweet; the kinda stuff that makes you think of fall and winter.

28. how dedicated are they to their favorite color? must everything they own be that color? do they even care that much?

Her favorite color is blue, and she really likes it but shes not terribly dedicated to it. Shes a thrifter and an opportunist when it comes to clothes and accessories, so she will make do with whatever. Things like pens, toothbrushes, hair brushes / etc that you can get at a store that might come in a few different colors though…. She is more inclined to reach for the blue ones than something else. 

29. what does their perfume smell like, and how much do they put on?

I already kinda answered this one above but she wears lots of warm and sweet smells, and she wears quite a lot of it too. She absolutely has a small bottle that she carries around with her to refresh after smoking a cigarette or eating or something. Depending on the season her smell might slightly change, like in spring it might be more vanilla and flowers, summer would be more warm sugar and coconut, fall vanilla and maybe something pumpkin spice adjacent, and winter would be some really vanilla chai/ spicy smelling one.

ATTICUS EVANS WORKS WITH HARRIS HARRIS, BUT IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT HARRIS HARRIS PREFERS TO THINK THAT ATTICUS WORKS FOR HIM. I'm sure this never causes any problems between them.

"Harry won't be back for awhile," she says, with put-upon levity, with forced domesticity clouding every word. She can deal with one of Harris's associates. She can do this.

"But if you want some tea — um — oh! Shoes off, please."

          She listens so intently, eyes scanning over his lips as he speaks, or down at his fingers, or back up to his eyes as he speaks so passionately about this film.      “ If I’m honest, I usually just go for A24 or Angelo Amerigo horror movies or like, your basic romcom, but now you got me all interested in this one. ”

She puts her beer back down on the table, turning her attention to her purse as she digs around inside. In her search she removes full sized perfume bottles, lotions, and lipsticks aplenty, setting them down on the table until she finally finds what she’s looking for — a little note pad and a pen, which she slides in front of him, pages of half written lyrics flipped back to reveal a blank page. 

          “ How about you gimme some homework — write a couple of your favorite movies for me to watch, and maybe your number so I can text you live reactions? ”          She smiles, giving him a little wink as she puts her things back into her cavernous purse.

Most people will politely listen to his ramblings. Heather seems genuine in her request to hear more, and if she is faking it, she's faking it well. Atticus will take what he can get. One quick sip of the beer presented to him, and he's ready to delve back into the topic. ❛ Such a powerful and heart-wrenching film. From start to finish, the narrative is so tightly woven, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Do you like films about survival, about exploring the depths of human character in the most extreme situations? ❜

For as much as he could keep talking and pulling apart every aspect of the film, he has been told it is nicer to include other people in the conversation, as well.
